The Breadman Bread Machine is handy, does a lot of time consuming chores but mine seems to do it's best on loaves of Pumpkin Bread or Pound Cake; items that lend themselves well to a heavier loaf. Regular white bread that should be light and soft comes out like the heavier pound cake. My next try at getting it to perform the way I want is to go against the receipe suggestions and actually dissolve the yeast in a lukewarm cup of water and have it be the first ingredient poured into the pan. My idea is that following the receipe, and adding in the yeast with the dry ingredients, is not allowing it to activate. If my idea doesn't work, the machine may be showing up at my local swap meet soon. I just don't have the space to store a machine that isn't doing the job.

I love my Breadman bread machine! I use it alot and it is so nice to be able to make my family fresh baked bread. I would never have the time to make fresh bread the way my grandma did. I have used my Breadman machine to make white bread, italian bread, cinnamon raisin bread, taco bread, garlic bread, jalepeno cheese bread, pizza crust, pepperoni balls, and calzones just to name a few...I would be lost without my bread machine!

The Breadman bread machine was a little over whelming at first, but now that I'm use to it I use it more often and the family enjoys the finished product everytime.
