Disc are expensive. we were getting them at Targt and now all of sudden they feel they need to go up almost two dollars on the coffee discs and the fancy coffee.Why?I won't be going to Target.

Unit less than 2 years old stopped functioning properly. Liquid pods would not empty (hot chocolate, cappacino milk/creamer). Support suggested we de-scale the unit which did not help. Another support call resulted in a pre-paid box sent to ship the box. Unit shipped back with the following message:

Repair costs exceed the price of new unit.

Customer service is terrible at Tassimo. They are unresponsive, unorganized and just an overall mess.

Our machine broke so I called to inquire about my options. I was told that they would send a pre-paid box. The box would go to the repair center and then they would call with a repair estimate. I called each week to ask the status and they had none yet. Then three and a half weeks later the machine just showed up to me in the same box. Inside the box was no explanation whatsoever AND the accessories sent back were not even ours. The machine and accessories were covered in dirt, grease and grime. They weren't just dusty or lightly dirty...they are so bad that we do not EVER want to use the machine again or even have ti repaired. It is disgusting. I called to talk to customer service to ask what happened and they offered no reasons, logic or even excuses. They only said that they would send another box to look at it again. Forget it! It is trash!

At first glance,the Tassimo system seems perfect for a coffee lover. The brew-only-what-what-you-need approach seems great(no more stale, reheated coffee). However, the unit is large enough that it's inconvenient to keep on the kitchen counter, expensive(mine was $169, on sale), and very, very unreliable. The coffee itself is good, but my first Tassimo leaked slightly from day one. In less than two months, the unit leaked so badly I couldn't use it. Since it was under warranty, I sent it back to Braun for replacement. The replacement unit had the same problem in even less time! At that point, I gave up, as the Tassimo is heavy enough that it cost me $15(un-reimbursed) to ship the first unit back to Braun; I wasn't willing to spend another $15 to do it again. The Tassimo is a great concept, but so poorly executed that it is useless. If Braun ever re-designs the Tassimo, it might be worthwhile, but their current quality problems make it impossible to recommend.

I love my tassimo! I used to own a coffee machine and then got a tassimo as a present. It is faster than my coffee machine which was advertised as the fastest on the market. It is also multi-functional, I can make plain coffee or a latte, or hot chocolate, or tea etc. Not only is there variety in the type of drink, but there is also variety in the brand and specifics of the drinks. For example, I can have Starbucks coffee or Maxwell house morning blend or decaf from Green Mountain. Plus, it is hassle-free, instead of having to measure out coffee grounds put them into a filter, measure out water and wait, with my tassimo, I just need to put a T-disk in and 2 minutes later I have a great cup of coffee. However, it can only make one cup at a time. This isn't a problem for me as I live alone, however I can see it being impractical for a household in which multiple people drink the same coffee.

I love my Tassimo. The only down side I have is the availablity of the pods in my area. When you need just a cup of coffee or tea, it is a life saver.

I have the Tassimo one cup coffee maker. I love the fact that it has a water purification filter in the water tank. However, the coffee is never strong enough. I have 6 different types of coffee that I bought and all are very weak. I know you can adjust the water level but if you want a 12oz cup of coffee, it's very mild and kind of dull.

Note: I like the brewing of the Tassimo better than the Keurig. Kuerig, though, has many more coffee choices to chose from.

All in all, this is a great, simply machine to operate. I am not a cook by all means nor do I like to be in the kitchen, Tassimo really delivers. Easy set up, easy to use and easy to brew.

Great gift, great looking for a kitchen counter and not a bad cup of coffee at all.

Costly machine. However, if you save your Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons, the Tassimo is a great deal.

The Tassimo is exactly what I was looking for to make decaf cappuccino. I wanted something automatic instead of the regular old espresso maker w/the steam wand. I've had it for 2 years now. This is so easy to use and clean AND it makes tea, latte, and hot chocolate too!!! My brother and mother in law were so impressed they got one! I would have given this machine 5 stars but it doesn't have a reusable T-disc so you can use any store bought espresso. ...

We've had our Tassimo for several months now and find nothing to fault about it. It is easy to use, easy to keep clean and makes great coffee. The cost of the pods is equivalent to similar purchases in bean or ground bean form and we waste less unconsumed coffee by the cup limits. Glad we bought it.

This machine is great to have at the office or if you love to invite people over your home and you know everybody is going to want something different to drink, you can choose among lates, chai lates, esspresos, capuccinos, hot chocolate and a great variety of teas!

It is really easy to use, just using the cleaning disk from time to time will keep the machine working great!

I've had my Tassimo single Cup Coffee Maker for over a year now. We love, love, love this machine! We can easily change between coffee, tea, hot chocolate, espresso, cappucinos. A little expensive at first to purchase the unit but the coffee discs are reasonable and can be found online or at Bed Bath Beyond and Target. :)

Oh.. and they DO sell milk discs separately now!

I received this machine as a Christmas gift two years ago and absolutely love it. I have tried several of the coffee T-Discs available, some of the teas and the hot chocolate. The cappucinno is my favorite. There is a small issue with the cappucinno milk T-Disc. For some reason the disc is still full of liquid after using it and if your not careful taking it off, the milk/water dribbles out of the disc. I have not had this problem with the latte milk discs though. There is a cleaning disc provided to rinse the machine between drinks so your tea doesn't taste like coffee. Its fairly easy to clean and some parts are dishwasher safe. To do a thourough cleaning, you need to remove all the small parts in the piercing assmbly and T-Disc holder. It is a bit noisy. It would be nice if the milk T-Discs were available in retail markets and not just online. I save money on my T-Discs by using coupons at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I received the Braun Tassimo Espresso Machine and Coffee Maker as a gift. I have never had a better coffee maker than this one. when I feel like a cappuccino, I make one, when I feel like an espresso, I make one, and when I feel like a plain cup of coffee, you guessed it, I make one. What a treat, I can even make hot chocolate or even tea. Do yourself a favor or I should say "flavor" buy one of these machines, they are wonderful.
