I only went to BGSU for a year but in that short time I was very impressed. The instructors and advisors are great. The campus is nice, the town of Bowling Green is great and the departments are very competent. Every time that I was told that something was taken care of or and issue was settled...it was. Each person in the departments (admissions, financial aid) did their job with accountability and I never had any issues. This is a school that I would recommend!

BGSU is one of those forgotten Ohio universities. It's tucked away in Northwest Ohio, south of Toledo on Rt. 75. It's big but not overwhelmingly so. (Not Ohio State size for sure!) Faculty still known most of the students in their majors and you can get appointments with counseling/advising staff without waiting a month. Good meal plans (you don't pay by the swipe), good health center and plans, a wide array of majors and degrees. Very reasonably priced as college goes....

I am a BGSU grad and would recommend this college to those who want to party and still graduate will C's or above. It was OK. Staff was overworked, so no time to focus on challenging students. Class sizes were huge which just didn't fit my educational preference.If I had to do it over I would not have gone there but it was affordable and I had to pay for college myself so that was what the options were. Dorms were ok too, food was even decent but I would recommend off campus. Football games were fun. Since I wasn't into sports though and shy and not a partier that made it hard to make friends and find people that I had something in common with. Spent most of my time rollerblading around campus. ...

I studied for my undergraduate degree in Visual Communication Technology at BGSU. This campus is a gorgeous place to spend your college years. The students are nice, and the teachers are competent. I learned a lot in my years at school, and not just in VCT. I sampled classes from the language, political science, and journalism departments. BGSU offers a well rounded education. My husband also graduated from there with a degree in Construction Management. These were some of the best years of our lives, and we met lasting friends there. I would recommend this school to anyone who asked me....

I tranferred to BGSU from a smaller community college and found BG to be a great choice for me. I entered into the Medical Technology program which was a wonderful and rewarding experience. I had freat, knowledgable and helpful instructors who were dedicated to helping thier students do well, both in the program and after graduation. Nearly every faculty and staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. As a commuter student, I spent a lot of time in the commuter lounge and the library between classes, and fond both to be comfortable and well cared for. The entire campus is beautiful and pristine. The university offers such a wide variety of programs, both useful for building a career, such as the Med Tech program I participated in, and enriching and fun classes, such as horseback riding, ice skating, foreign languages and arts!...
