Easy to use and is worth the money. I had it for a few months now is I use it everyday!!! Great for noise cancelling and for plane or car rides!!

I love these headphones!!!! I use them on the plane, in the gym, in my car, at my computer, and plug them in to my flat screen. Wonderful sound, or glorious silence at the flick of a switch. I can't even think of a down side to them other than they're a bit on the spendy side.

One of my favorite aspects of these head phones is the noise reduction feature. Glorious white noise, that while it won't block out everything, quiets the noise considerably from the screaming little ones on a crowded airplane you were lucky enough to get seated next to, and can all but erase the constant drone of jet engines. For the sound aspect, you need to be plugged into whatever you wish to listen to as they aren't wireless, but for noise reduction, all you need to do is flick the switch on the side of your headphones and you needn't be plugged into anything.

The sound quality is superb, comes with adapters for virtually any type of inflight entertainment system, and works with all of your home...

I have had my Bose QuietComfort 2 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones now for a number of years.. I travel 4 to 5 times a year by plane. The first years they did exactly as advertised reducing unwanted noise especially nearby conversations and making my ipod sound even better.. But it seems that over time now that it just simply does not do the job any longer.. meaning reducing outside noise. The battery seems to need changing much more frequently too.. The headphones are very comfortable but sometimes hard to adjust. One friend told me his broke at the ear piece as it would only turn a certain way and of course he turned it the wrong way breaking the cushioned plastic ear holder off.. The headphones are lightweight and compact and with a wonderful slim zippered case strong enough to handle travel.. The Bose name I much respect and have the Bose radios at home and even use the headphones with them .

I received these headphones for christmas in december 2008. I was impressed with the quality - at first. However, after about a month a persistent static developed in the headphones. I was able to ignore this for the most part as it was not usually audible with most music / videos. Unfortunately, the cord recently developed what I assume is a bad connection and will have to be sent in for repair, after only half a year of usage. I will reserve harsh judgement until I see how the repair goes, but based on my initial assessment, I would recommend buying a more sturdy set.

The vinyl material they use on the ear cushions and the top of the headphones is poor quality. The vinyl started flaking off on a buisness flight from Los Angeles to Bangkok. The little black flakes got all over my clothes and in my hair. Bose wants to charge $100 plus shipping and handling to replace them....

I purchased the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones a few years ago when I traveled at lot for work, and I have to say that they are well worth the hefty price tag. I hesitated with the purchase, as there are many other decent options out there for much less...but none that sound as good. I used to be on an airplane at least twice a week for work, and these headphones were awesome. The noise cancellation feature is awesome, it cuts the ambient noise on the plane and allows you to concentrate on your music. On top of getting rid of the annoying sounds on the plane, the sound quality of these headphones is fantastic. You will hear new aspects of songs you have listened to many times before...it will amaze you. The leather-wrapped ear cups are very comfortable and allow you to keep them on for hours on end. You can even use the noise cancellation feature without plugging them in, which is a nice feature if you want to go to the library and shut out the ambient noise to concentrate......

I admit I only use my Bose headphone when I'm flying and need to drown out the screaming child 3 rows back or the obnoxious couple sitting right behind me. The headphones allow me to shut them out and enjoy my music or audiobook. On long flights when we pull out the laptop and watch our own movies, the Bose are a must for clarity so you can hear the dialog over the roar of the plane. The Bose also come in handy on cross country road trips when you are traveling with a heavy metal fan and you prefer bluegrass. We treat our headphones with great care and have not had any problems. ...

You will never need another pair of headphones after you buy the Bose QC2. I've had them for over 2 years and I use them everywhere. In the library to study, on the plane when traveling, even on the go. They block out just about any sound in the world. I've had them on with people yelling right next to me and I don't hear a thing. I recommend QC2 over the QC3 because it fits right over your ears and it really blocks out any sound. Highly recommended to anyone who just wants a pair of headphones to get away from any noises around them....

I can sleep with these headphones on or go jogging, they are extremely comfortable and I love them! They may be a little bit bulky, but they really cut out all the sound around you and sound great. The music is played clear and I have no problems with the sound quality. I use them at least once a day and can honestly say that they are one of the greatest pairs of headphones that I have ever invested in....

I've gone through numerous sets of headphones and have probably spent as much money twice as what I did on this one set that will last way longer than any others. In my opinion, these are the best headphones out there right now. My teenagers love them and when they are sitting at the table listening with these on, I can't hear them and I am in the SAME room. It's great!!

Great value for your money. You'll be delighted with the headphones: very comfy, great looking, perfect fit, good sound and you're able to use them on every plane. The only inconvenience is to cary them with you for the case is a bit big and they take more room then other headphones....
