Like everything Bose, high quality sound. I have used Bose for over 30 years and consider them to be above and beyond when it comes to sound. Not cheap, but always good or better. These speakers continue the legacy of Bose sound in my life. I bought them as an addon to my new desktop system and was immediately impressed with the amount and quality of sound these two little speakers put out. I dont listen to music at full volume and can still appreciate highs and lows, and these speakers deliver. I must say, with my Itunes I dont have much use for the bigger bulkier system in my livingroom. Well worth the money and not out of reach for most PC users.
...

Listenning to these babies at the demo kios at Frys store for just a couple minutes really convinced me I don't have to look further, just exactly what I wanted for my Zen vison M,a perfect match.I've already owned a pair of Creative GigaWorks T20 which I really satisfied with its sound quality but Companion 2 sounds even better, just a little excessive bass but that won't be a problem since I can ajust the equalizer in my mp3 player to get a well balanced sound.
Everyone at my work seemed supprised at the big life-like sound from these baby speakers when they heard the music. At $99.00 is somewhat pricey for a pair of portable speakers but worth the money.Recommend to anyone looking for quality in multimedia speakers.
...

Bose Companion 2 speaker

Its awesome. for the price we pay, its like a lottery cause it gives the best sound quality, the clarity is too good.

It works fine with ipods. I also play it with my blackberry mobile and also the laptop. I can connect it to my HD tv and it gives a surround sound and its awesome.

After i bought it, i referred it to 3 other friends, one of whom bought companion 3 ans all of them are so happy with the speakers that they are carrying it to India as a gift for their friends and family. For the price u pay, its really too good. And as far a we know, Bose is the best.
...

I bought this for my husband so he would have better speakers for the computer. He does a lot of music recording and we only had the factory speakers that came with the computer (really poor quality). The Bose speakers are great in that they deliver the quality you would expect without being too expensive. Perfect for what we need but maybe not good enough for someone who's really serious....

MimiKoussa says "With sound like this, who needs a stereo?" about Bose - Companion 2 speakers

No wonder Bose has such a great reputation. I've never owned any of their speakers for my main system, but I can tell you that these multimedia speakers rock! I've honestly never heard such full, clear, realisitic sounds from a set of computer speakers. I listen to a lot of music on the computer for work, so I appreciate a great sound. This set is simple, offering only volume controls. The volume itself is impressive...I've never gotten over half volume. Any louder and you'd have to start your own night club.

For about $70 for the pair, they are a steal as far as quality. You do sacrifice any fine tuning capabilities that more pricey speakers may offer. There is a dual input which allows for one addition connection from another source. Nice to have that capacity. The more I can listen to through these speakers, the better.
...
