got one of these 3 years ago, trouble from day one. towels came out dry - like cardboard, and motor broke recently, and now it broka again. So I replaced it with a Maytag, which I owned before I bought the Bosch - had the old Maytag for 18 year !!!

I'll stick with the true and tried...

The washer overall is a great one, I've just encountered a problem with a error code 13, the manual that comes with the washer is no help. I called the Bosch help desk line, while the operator was very nice she informed me that she had no idea what the error code was, she did tell me to check the water inlet lines to make sure that they were not clogged. This felt like a get me off the phone answer. I did have better luck sending Bosch an email, I was told the error code 13 was a clogged drain pump/hose, which I figured since the washer wasnt draining all the way. Never owning a HE front loader i was a little hesistent to start loosening screws, I was given the # to a local Bosch service rep, he didnt sound to promising from his answering service. It looks like Bosch has a limited service network, since I was only given 1 tech in my area, and he was 35 miles away. I did call a small local appliance store near my home, he advised me he didnt service Bosch appliances but did tell me some...

walks all over the floor has shaken the door loose and is more or less coming apart.

Lowes is no help neither is their extended warranty .

I bought my Bosch Nexxt 300 about two years ago and I'm ready to go back to an old-fashioned agitator style. I hate this machine! It takes forever to do a normal size load (ex. - a load of towels can take an hour and a half!). There is a mildew odor that quickly returns even if you keep the door open between washes (who wants to do that?) or if you run an empty load with bleach. When running an even small load of shirts or pants you have to untwist the sleeves or legs before putting them in the dryer. Thus things more often come out having to be ironed. It does run quietly but I'm tired of the annoying signal beep when the load finishes (no way to turn it off!). Everytime I do laundry I hear myself repeating, "I hate this machine!"...

My Bosch nexxt 300 was replaced 2 weeks after I purchased it due to the machine walking across the floor during spin cycle.Lowes stated it had a warped drum. The next machine worked ok for about 6 weeks, then the machine started making sounds & didn't spin correctely, Lowes replaced the drum. I have had the machine a year & it sounds like it is blasting off each rinse cycle. Clothes are tied in knots, shirt sleeves, legs of trousers, sheets etc. I have tried small loads, medium loads & large loads and the machine is so loud during spin cycle we have to turn the TV off because we can't hear. The machine does get the clothes clean, but the cycle takes 11/2 hour to complete. There is water left inside the door which gets stale if you don't prop the door open. I would not recommend this machine....

Bosch Nexxt 300 Series Front Load Washer Model WFMC2201UC. Loved the ease in dispensing detergent and bleach, good size openings. Easy to clean interior of machine. Love the controls. Pretty quiet. Very limited capacity in comparison to former Kenmore front loader which washed well but was not durable. However, even when washing very small loads (1 pr jeans, 3 toddler pants, 6 pr socks, couple of shirts, one kid sweatpants, for example), clothes do not come clean. Do not smell clean, feels sometimes like detergent still left on clothes, I have used the cold cycle, bleach setting, 2nd rinse setting and use recommended HE detergents. Have tried more/less detergent. Now I have dressers filled with stale smelling clothes. E-mailed company, no response.

I HAVE HAD A NEPTUNE TL MAYTAG WASHER AND DRYER FOR 4 YEARS. I PAID $1750.00 FOR A WASHER AND DRYER . IT IS NOW BROKEN DOWN! I WENT TO LOWES AND BOUGHT A BOSCH WASHER AND IT IS SO QUIET I THOUGHT IT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. IT IS GREAT I LOVE IT.IT MADE MY WIFE SO HAPPY.IT IS MILES AHEAD OF MAYTAG.I HAD A MAYTAG FOR 18 YEARS BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS LAST SET. THEY DON'T BUILD THEM LIKE THEY USED TO. BOSCH STILL BUILDS A SOLID UNIT IT IS HEAVY AND WELL INSULATED. I HOPE IT LAST AS OF NOW I AM WELL PLEASED

Needed a new washer and after reading tons of reviews I decided on buying a Bosch front loader, they have a good dependability record and service record. Also they are made in the USA, which helped in my decision. So far so good, my clothes have came out clean, smelling nice, drying time is much shorter. Never owned a front loader before but I am sold now. Amazing how little water they use! Love my new washer, happy with my decision....
