The end of cycle buzzer is the most annoying series of chirps that goes on and on. The stink coming out of my washer is horrendous. For some reason the design does not allow the water to completely evacuate after the cycle ends, it just sits there creating mold and mildew on the rubber gaskets. No amount of wiping it down after each cycle prevents this nasty smell. I have an $1100.00 washer and I wash towels and most of my laundry at a laundry mat. DON'T BUY IT! Biggest appliance mistake purchase ever made! JUST FOR THE RECORD, I HAVE ONLY USED HE DETERGENT in this sorry excuse for a wash machine.

Our Bosch nexxt 100 series washer is very unreliable, as this is the second one in 2 years to fail. The latch mechanism seems to be failing, it will show it is not locked and will obviously not operate with it unlocked. made very sure it is loaded properly and the correct High effeciency soap is used. I cannot recommend this product, but lowes has stood behind their warranty on this piece of junk. Hopefully when we call lowes tomorrow they will replace this with a toploader as I do not trust frontloaders after this. this washer only lasted about 9 months, the last toploader I had lasted about 9 years, sure they use more water but relaibility is much more important than high effeciency. I will save the earth by keeping crappy washing machines from filling landfills....

We purchased this machine (Bosch NEXXT Washer - 100) about a year ago and have had many problems with it. There is always an odor in the machine even though we have changed detergents, left the door open, run through bleach washes and white vinegar washes and run a dehumidifier next to the unit.

The compartments where you pour the detergent and fabric softener get moldy after a day or two. I have to remove the compartment and bring it upstairs to wash on a regular basis.

The unit takes a VERY long time to run a load through at times for no particular reason. It can be a small, lightly soiled load and it will run longer than a full load of kid's playclothes. In almost every load a small item of clothing gets trapped in the seal around the door and stays there in a puddle until you remove it and wring it out.

On a fairly regular basis the machine will go through an entire cycle and when I go to move the clothes to the dryer the items are soaking wet. I've checked and the machine...

We purchased this machine based on reputation of Bosch. It takes hours to complete a wash cycle and I have been very disappointed with the cleanliness of the items upon completion. The machine uses very little water which is rather unsanitary and if anything with an odour is in the wash all the laundry comes out smelling like that. Also, unable to soak laundry in bleach which as a mom with 3 young children all active in sports this is a real nuisance. We may be saving modestly on our hot water bill however considering the wash cycle averages 21/2 hours I would guess we are using a lot more electricity that a standard machine that completes a load in less than an hour and with a family that machine is basically running all day just to complete the daily loads. If you do cold water washing then who needs the ridiculously long wait! If you are considering buying this machine for cost savings I would do so with caution! If you are just looking for a good washing machine I would suggest...

This is an excellent washing machine. The energy star guide says that it costs only $8/year to run!

When I first used this washer, I got worried. It used VERY little water. I thought, "How can this little water possibly clean my clothes?" Well, it did. It removes stains that my other washer didn't. It costs much less to run and another savings is that it leaves less water in my clothes for the dryer to have to remove, increasing my savings even more.

It is very easy to operate. You just choose the cycle and water temp, add your detergent, softener and bleach if needed in the cups provided. The machine desides the load size itself. It also chooses the correct number of rinse cycles. If you use regular instead of high efficiency detergent, it senses the extra suds and will continue rinsing until the suds have been removed. It's almost idiot proof.

Something I love is the way it handles bleach. You have to press the bleach button in order to have the bleach added. ...
