The Bosch Nexxt Dryer is the perfect companion to the Bosch Nexxt Washer. Just like the washer, the dryer is not overly computerized, which means fewer problems with electronics. It also has inset buttons at the front of the washer and only one dial - which is also inset - so there you are not likely to break off a dial if you have to move it. (I found that is one of the biggest problems with moving a washer or dryer) There are presets for Regular and Permanent Press as well as Delicate clothing, and timed dry settings for 60, 40, and 20 minutes. It has a dry sensor so that if you use the presets, the dryer will only dry as long as the clothes are wet or damp - if it gets to the end of the preset time and there are still damp clothes the dryer will keep drying, but it almost never needs to go longer. Since it dries faster, you will use less energy, which is great for the pocketbook. The only problem I have had with it is the dry sensor had to be replaced, but since I purchased...

We purchased this washer and dryer because my husband is familiar with the Bosch name. I was not familiar with Bosch at the time of purchase, but now I associate it with quality and high-end performance. We use the washer and dryer on a daily basis and have for 2 years now and are very pleased with its performance. The only issue we have had is the slight smell of mold in the washing machine on rare occasions. I looked this up on the internet and found that many users have reported problems with moldy build-up on their front-loaders. In fact, we saw that there was a pending lawsuit with one of the major brands (Maytag or Whirlpool?). I called Bosch to find out how to remedy this and they suggested vinegar and/or a purchased product designed to eliminate this problem. Instead of doing either (because I also read online vinegar can damage the machine) I just run it on the Sanitary cycle every couple of weeks with a load of towels in it. This gets the water SUPER hot and seems to take care...

Our new Bosch Washer and dryer was the best purchase we've made in a while.
It is front load and built so you can either stack or side by side. The best part about the side by side is that we don't have to buy the stands for underneath them, which saved us around $400.00
The dryer takes 1/2 the dry time that our last one did. We are saving $$$ on our electric bill!
We also notice when we clean the lint screen it has a small amount of lint compared to our last dryer. Not so hard on the cloths!...

I really love my recent purchase of the Bosch Nexxt series 500 dryer. The only thing that I owuld change about it is there isn't a way to shut off the wrinkle guard cycle at the end if you don't want it to run....

Bought this dryer as a set with a washer, I am very satisfied with them both. The dryer seems to get my clothes dry in record time, but then it has help from the new washer. Also has a wrinkle guard feature which helps me very much due to my always forgeting the clothes in the dryer. Only con is that is was pricey, just like the washer. ...
