Would definitely buy the Bosch stainless dishwasher again. It's quiet and cleans great. The only down side is a beep that notifies you when the cycle is over. I understand it can be disconnected, so if it ever needs service I'll have this done.

I would never buy any other brand than a Bosch dish washer. My hot water heater went out and I had to run my dishwasher with cold water and my dishes still sparkled. There are never any dried egg or cheese or hard to clean food left on my dishes. It has a double sprayer and several wash cycles to choose from. My wife likes the fact that you don't have to clean the dishes off before you put them inside the dishwasher.

I also really love the looks of this dishwasher. The Bosch design makes it easy to match with the rest of your house. It is very easy to install, and the warranty can't be beat. My mom just bought another Bosch in her recreation center and literally this one keeps running all of the time. This is my second Bosch Dishwasher and I can not see myself buying anything else.

I don't think there is any way you could go wrong with this dishwasher. I can't say enough about how much I think of it!

We were lucky enough to get our Bosch dishwasher on sale and for an additional $60 less because the model we had originally gone in to buy was discontinued. We love this dishwasher because it is quiet and cleans our dishes without leaving water spots and truly is an energy saver. The stainless steel front is not too shiny and matches our other brand appliances perfectly. The multiple options for wash cycles, timer and drying are all added features that meet every need you could have in a dishwahser.

my first impressin was " is it really on, it to quiet, i had to keep opening the door to see if it was working, i love the stainless steel interior and all the dishs get clean even the rop rack area, and all the combination of setting, i am in kitchen freak heaven

I purchased a Bosch SHE45M dishwasher 6 weeks ago. It is without a doubt, the quietest running dishwasher I have ever seen or heard. The positive stops there unfortunately. This unit is way below average in its cleaning ability. Every other cycle or so, sometimes continuously, this dishwasher will leave food scraps on my dishes ( and I thoroughly rinse my dishes before I load them ) You can not put a baking sheet or other serviceware items in the machine with any food on them. Even in the "power wash" cycle, it only cleans 90% ( and leaves traces of food on the other dishes) Cycle time is one third to one half times longer than other dishwashers and yet still doesn't clean the dishes. The Bosch gives off an odor after each cycle and between cycles when you open the door. It smell something akin to "wet metal like" smell and hard to describe but the odor is obnoxious and wont go away. I have cleaned the food trap etc. and the odor persists. I have used different detergents too, it still...

WE bought a bosch dishwasher because of the name and it was stainless steel and that was what we where looking for. WE had a warranty on it because usually appliance like that we usually do. We had it for 2 months and it did not clean the dishes. We thought it might have been the dish detrogent so we bought dry detrogent and the liquid and it still would not clean. WE called the repair and they came and said that there was a piece that broken off so they replaced that. It ran good for about 2 weeks and it still did not clean the dishes so we called the repair again and he took it all apart and cleaned it out good. He told us to run vinger throught it because that helps clean it out too. WE did not and the dishes still did not clean. WE got sick of this and went back to Sears which were very helpful during this whole thing. They got in touch with the company and got us a refund and they took out the old and got us a Kenmore which I like better

The Bosch stainless dishwasher is so quiet you won't even know that it is running. The dishes come out sparkling clean. The two negatives... it takes about an hour to run a load of dishes and I don't think that I can get quite as many dishes in as my old dishwasher.

A couple of years ago our contractor supplied GE Dishwasher was going through its death throes. We had been nursing it along for awhile, but it was now on life support. We certainly had little to complain about. This machine of modest cost had just passed its 20th anniversary. Not bad for a "contractor special".

But What to Buy?

During the course of any month, I read and rate hundreds of reviews on Kitchen Aplliances for another site. Aside from a modest stipend, what I gain though is a general impression of which manufacturers are producing the best appliances. So, when it came time to lay down some serious money on a new dishwasher it didn't take us long to zero in on Bosch as our manufacturer of choice.

Some Requirements

Even though we are only a family of three, we generate an awful lot of dishes, flatware and pots & pans that need cleaning everyday. I sometimes take a lot of heat for this from the lovely Veronica, but I detest using paper or plastic plates and cups. ...

I bought my Bosch dishwasher at Sears about a year ago. I suspect it is a slightly different model than what is shown here as they change models regularly.

But what I wanted was the Bosch reputation for quality and reliability and that's what I got. This dishwasher is so quiet, I have to put my hand on it to feel vibrations if I want to know whether it's running. The outside of mine is white, my preference to go with my kitchen, but they also come in black and stainless steel.

The inside is stainless steel and the racks are hard nylon. That's great because it means nothing inside can ever rust. In the modern style of dishwashers, the interior volume is much larger than the way dishwashers used to be made, giving greater height especially to the lower rack. That means it can hold larger pots. There is a small downside to this, however. The bottom rack is much closer to the floor, so you have to bend over a bit when loading and unloading.

The utensil rack can be put anywhere in the bottom...

This dishwasher has made life easier for my family and I. It does what it claims without any problems. Dishes do not require any pre-rinsing and they come out shiny and clean. I bake every other day and the pans always needed to pre-soak before, not anymore! The washer is quiet and best of all, it has a half load feature and a sensor to make sure it will not leak. The dishwasher also has a sanitizing option, so we no longer need to worry if the dishes are really clean. Our old dishwasher use to have an odd odor (old food smell) sometimes when it was done with a cycle, this one just smells clean and the containers come out smelling like plastic, not what they stored. The price is a bit high but my thinking it's better to buy right the first time than to buy twice to replace.

I have also noticed savings in water even though we run the dishwasher every other day. I get more cleaning done and pay less on water and gas. It's a win-win situation for us.

This dishwasher is my favorite large kitchen appliance. I use it 1-3 times per day so I am very accustomed to it's operation. It is very quiet compared to the past 4 dishwashers I've had. Dishwasher tabs seem to be the best option for detergent because loose powder detergents leave residue that doesn't wash away on the top rack. I have never had problems with food residue in the top or bottom rack.

The adjustable dividers in the top rack and removeble cutlery tray in the bottom make loading assorted shape and sized items very easy. The top rack is even removable when necessary.

I do feel that the drying options are a bit inadequate since I regularly have damp top rack dishes. The cleaning cycle choices have been suffifcient for our family's needs. The low water usage is an added bonus to this dishwasher.
