These are some fancy glass bottles, they work great, baby latches on pretty good, less gas, one thing was wondering when i was looking by them was, do the Avent nipples work for the BornFree bottles? the answer, YES. But there are few annoying things with these bottles, there are six parts that in all with each bottle, counting the lid and the bottle, which make the the 2am feed even more hard. The parts to these bottles are very expensive, the bottle it's self runs for about 9 dollar's, that's for just one bottle, and there kind of big, it's a beast of a bottle. but all in all they work wonderfully if you don't mind the above con's. I ended up going with the Evenflo glass bottles, you can get three for the price of one BornFree bottle, and they are cute, they have a verity of colors for the sleve's that come with them. I do recommend the BornFree bottles
...

Im going to start with the cons of born free bottles seeing that there only a few of them.my main one if i had to choose would be the flow of the nipple to fast makes it difficult for my daughter to drink .Also the fact that it only comes in two sizes is a small inconviniance. The pros i would say are there are no bpa high quality helps prevent colics wich is a big plus and my most favorite reason is that once baby is older they can used as sippy cups when you buy the handle parts so you get alot more for your money with a great quality product.
...

I have been using the Born Free 8 oz glass bottles since they came out. I use them every night, first as a bottle and then as a glass sippy cup for my daughter to have her milk in. Over 2 years later and through the dish washer many many times, they look like new. Yes, I have dropped them.. they have not broken. I have no mercy floors too and they are fine.

Now I have a newborn and we use the 5 oz glass bottles with him. I have a few with the colorful print in oz's and then one with the oz imprinted in, like the old fashioned glass bottles. In either case, they work wonderfuly and there is something to be said for quailty.

I have some Evenflo glass and Munchkin Mighty Grip glass bottles, they are nice, but.. they are not quality in terms of the nipple. (see my reviews for those)

I love the wide mouth, easy for powdered formula to go into and super easy to clean. I love the airflow system, there are NO leaks and no nipple collaspe. Just make sure you get the Born Free nipples and the...
...

Mom2D2 says "BPA Free but not worth the hype" about BornFree Glass Baby Bottle

BornFree bottles came highly recommended by friends who research every single item they buy. I was happy to find a BPA free bottle for my baby and it worked great the first couple of months.
But as he got older, the nipples which I think are overly flexible come loose easily and when my teething infant bites, he has been bathed with milk as the nipple comes out of the bottle. Needless to say, I am using it only for water and that too when I am out of other bottles.
...

jerseymommy says "Safe and durable" about BornFree Glass Baby Bottle

I had Avent plastic bottles when my daughter was born in 2005. Unfortunately, like all bottles back then, it contained BPA.

When my son was born in 2007 (JUST as the BPA warnings started coming out), we decided to switch to a BPA-free bottle. I was afraid to get a BPA-free plastic bottle because I was afraid of other chemicals that they may discover are dangerous.

We went with the Born Free glass bottles because they were durable and we trusted the brand. I am thrilled with our choice. Glass bottles are much heavier than the same size plastic bottles, so we bought the 5 oz bottles instead of the 9-oz bottles. The glass was extremely durable; it even survived several drops on the hard floor. The nipple did a great job at preventing leaks. My son never had gas or any spitup problems when we used these bottles. Plus, most importantly, I know that I don't have to worry about any chemical safety issues with my son's glass bottles.

The glass bottles were a little bit more...
...

josh208 says "NO BPA and it doesn't leak!" about BornFree Glass Baby Bottle

With all the studies proving BPA is horrible to babies...I set out to find the perfect bottle for my son (he's now 15 months). I started with Avent only to realize they use the dangerous plastic. I did my research and found Born Free to be the safest.

At first, I didn't like all the gadgets that had to be cleaned. However, once you get used to them, they aren't too much of a hassle. I put them in the diswasher and they were fine. One of the best things about them...they don't leak!!! They also come in BPA free plastic so they aren't as heavy as the glass. Safety first is my motto for my baby!
...

vanz says "born free bottles are expensive and not worth buying" about BornFree Glass Baby Bottle

when my baby was born, i was advised to supplement him with formula because i have low milk supply and have problems latching on. i was given born free bottles from my shower and used this on my baby's first week of life. my baby gets choked all the time because the nipple flow is too fast. So i tried buying new set of nipples (stage 1 nipples) but still it does the same to my baby. The botlle is also difficult to clean up because of so many parts and sometimes the odor of the dish soap is difficult to rinse and sticks to the bottle. i would not reccommend this bottle to newborn babies and to busy moms. ...

I suggested these bottles to my parents since they were having another baby, my brother. These bottles are great. They don't leave my brother fussy and colicky, unlike the evenflow bottles. The reviewer who hated it didn't put the venting system on properly ( maybe thats why its leaking). The reason its yellow is because of the BPA has been taken out (it makes it clear). This is a bottle thats high quality and worth the price....

I now have been using these bottles for several months. I very much disliked them in the beginning since my husband hid the vents so they leaked. Luckily I did not throw the bottles out... since I found the vents which stopped the leaking completely. I am not happy with all of the parts to the bottle- it makes for difficult cleaning & sanitizing. I do love that they are BPA free. My son loves his "baby bottle". Great quality, but very expensive.
...

After trying several types of bottles, this one is the best! It doesn't leak, and my daughter loves it. Little to no spit up. They are a little pricier but well worth it. BPA free. We tried Dr. Browns and Avent. Both were okay but these are superior. We only bought a few since they are a little more expensive, but they still work like brand new. I breastfeed but supplement and these bottles are perfect. My daughter didn't have any "nipple confusion" and will even take these bottles from me....
