http://www.viewpoints.com/Blackberry-Curve-8330-Cell-Phone-reviews Tue, 24 Nov 2009 00:00:27 GMT Latest reviews about Blackberry - Curve 8330 Cell Phone http://www.viewpoints.com/Blackberry-Curve-8330-Cell-Phone-review-9f774 <p>We are not on the forefront of technology and recently upgraded to a Blackberry Curve.  I cannot believe we waited so long to do it.  This little phone is already making my life easier.  No wondering what emails I have missed, always having a camera handy for those once in a life time shot.  AND EASY, we did not have to have our  teenager set it up , we could do it ourselves without looking at the instructions. </p> <p>We have not yet begun to use all the features, but the qwerty keyboard, the speed dialing, instant access to email combined with the small size all make this phone well worth the wait and price. </p> <p>The downside to the phone would be the instant access,  I cannot wait to answer emails and keep up with my life.  Don't forget to put it into sleep mode when you put it in your purse or pocket, because it is not a flip phone , it does have a tendency to dial itself.  I would highly recommend this phone to the young and old alike.</p> <p> </p>... This phone is AWESOME!! This is the first smartphone that I have purchased and I am sooooo glad that I did. This phone is light and pretty :) I would suggest getting a cover for it. I got mine on ebay for around $6.00. There are so many different things that I can do with this phone. I love having direct access to my email accounts right at my fingertips!!! The internet is so easy to use. It was really easy to figure out how to work different things on this phone just by playing around with it. There is a manual as well but it worked better for me just to mess around with it. The blackberry messenger is a great way to communicate with my friends that have blackberrys! The QWERTY keyboard is so much easier use and I am a much faster tester now :) There are so many apps that you can download for this phone. Some of them are free and some are for purchase. At times I get every 4th word and even that is stretching it. I have done all the upgrades suggested by Verizon to make sure I am bouncing off all available towers, but still to no avail, but besides the crappy call signal, I have found it does like to lock up on me though when surfing the web and that the battery life in not what I expected. I can normally get 3 solid hours of talk/data time, then must plug back into recharge. If I am trying to use maps and talk like I did this week, I ran out of battery life well before all directions could be given. Most frustrating so I never go anywhere without my charger. The phone is very helpful for looking up directions, using GPS to find a location, stay connected with Email, and Social networking...</p>... The blackberry is very easy to use, easy to text, make phone calls and search the web.  You can bookmark the websites that you frequently search on.  You can search for restaurants in your area or if you are in a new area.  You can search by the type of restuaurants.  You can search for directions.  I cannot think of anything that the blackberry cannot do.  It is same enough to be stylist.  I did not have to pay anything for my blackberry because I switched providers.
