this model of the BlackBerry phone is the easiest of the smart phones to navigate and al lthe functions are actually useable not useless....

I've had a great experience with the phone, no freezing or problems with updates. Great reception and relatively ergonomic typing setup compared to other phones. Internet is fast, used it in Greece and had no problems. Email was great on personal and with corporate exchange server. Sturdy enough although there are some chunks missing from mine due to dropping/throwing/scratching. No problems with functionality. Speaker phone is good quality too....

I have a Blackberry 8800 series and I just love it. Takes good pictures and the speaker phone is nice and loud. Battery life is pretty good also, unless you have the bluetooth on, when using the bluetooth the battery wears out fast.

This Phone is no good! All of my buttons stick I have to remove the battery all the time. I have to press the end button like five times to hang up! Texting is a nightmare it takes for ever to text! I paid a ton for this phone and i wish i would have known it's crap!...

Love my blackberry 8800! Gives me all that I need to make calls, conference, read email and even track my directions via GPS that's included in this little phone. It packs a lot of punch!!...

I really do like the Blackberry. However I have the version that does not have a camera phone. My cell phone provider does not offer a camera on their Blackberry products. Other than that I really love the phone. Very upscale and sleek.

In all of it's accessory functions, the BlackBerry performs like a champ. It can handle multiple email accounts, and the keyboard is great for the now obligatory text messaging that comes your way. Saving data, and receiving incoming attachments, terrific. Sending attachments, very good. Videos, great. Searching the web......well, it's OK, sometimes tough to read, but where it really lacks for me is the notification that I have an unheard voice mail. Sometimes the notification turns up the next day after my phone automatically comes alive again after shutting off the night before. I'm not referring too receiving calls with the phone off, I mean when it's on. Way too late to respond to something should you need.

It's funny to me in the new age of smart phones, that what this model seems to do the most poorly at is acting like a phone. Most all of the other phone functions work very well, and I do like the screen, the "mouse ball", and the way the menu can be organized...

I love that I can set up to 11 emai accounts. I currently have my work, yahoo and hotmail email accounts set up as regular icons. Since blackberry works with the pust technology, you only have to set up your email once and then you will get notified every time you have a new email, just like the text messaging system. Also is good with web browsing and the keyboard allows me to type very fast. It's a very stable system, it hardly ever crashes or freezes up. In a few words, I love it and it keeps me in track with the calendar/appointments options. It's a great phone.

I purchased my Blackberry Pearl in October. It is a great little phone and has many capabilities that I love (internet browsing, multiple email account setup, etc).

One thing that I have had major problems with on this phone is that the screen keeps going completely white for hours at a time and I am not able to see the screen, but the phone is still on. It might just be a t-mobile problem, but it is ANNOYIING and inconvenient as it is my only phone and I don't own a landline.

Bottom line is that I need a reliable phone. So far, this has not been it.
