The Black and Decker toaster does exactly what it is meant to do. I even stuck a hamburger bun in and it worked on the bagel setting. You can set the darkness and not have to worry about how what you're making is going to come out. The wide slots are great too. I haven't had a toaster before that had slots that would accomodate a bagel or english muffin. I also like the retro styling, that is what drew me to it. The price was also very reasonable in comparison to similar toasters. Very stylish, a grat price and it works too, what more could you ask for.

I bought this Black & Decker 2 slice toaster because we eat alot of bagels and it does a great job toasting the entire front and back. No problems with setting the correct level of darkness. Toast evenly whether it is toast, english muffin or a bagel. The height inside is enough to toast the entire height of the bread without having to turn it around and toast some more. Easy to clean, too, with the removable bottom. Small enough to leave sitting on the counter everyday....

I was actually impressed with this toaster. I actually went out and got one for my daughter. You ca the levels and it really hits it on the spot. I actually found it really, fast and didn't burn my toast or poptarts. We really enjoy it because it is quick and easy to use and clean...

My B&D toaster is not the model highlighted. The model selected is due to the extra features of toasting bagels and frozen items. Together with the light/dark settings these extra features allows toasting frozen items to perfection.

I bought this toaster a few months ago. I love it. The settings are perfect for everything. No more burnt toast or stuck english muffins. It handles bagels with no problems. The Black and Decker 2 slice toaster is the best I have ever had and the price was amazingly affordable....

The toaster does show fingerprints as said but it is not a big deal to me. I have the red and stainless steel model and I like it a lot and it works very well. I would recommend the purchase of this toaster. The toaster looks really nice and works effectively. I have not had any problems....

After our 10 year old B&D toaster died, we had to go get another one. SO while at the grand opening of a new Target, as I was buying a B&D food processor, I saw the matching 2 slice toast & got it for $39. They both look like jewelry on my kitchen counter.

I am very pleased with the quickness for the toasting & that it has settings so you do not burn the toast or set off the smoke detector which lets my husband know toast is being made & we get a laugh out if it. Bagels fit, fresh baked bread toasts very nicely on the 2 setting. But may I suggest that you forget toasting any filled items since they have to burn off to clean the inside as washing the inside will kill the unit.

They now also have The Outlet Center web site to get some cheap items, that are discontinued.
