I have made many a cheesecake with this mixer (and a whole lot of other stuff). It really is a power tool for the kitchen. It's easy to use, sturdy, and easy to clean and reasonably priced. I have had mine for 15 years and it's still going strong. What more could you ask for?... Sun, 02 Nov 2008 00:23:37 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Black-and-Decker-Hand-Mixer-review-53025 ubermom 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Black-and-Decker-Hand-Mixer-review-dd181 I have used a Black and Decker hand mixer for all of my adult life (20 years).  It has been the best and only mixer I have ever used.  I have used this mixer for mashing potatoes, mixing pudding, and various other ingredients for cooking.  It has been through 3 moves with me and has held up through boxing up and moving.  The beaters have also held their own.  They have not rusted or broken.  I wash the beaters in the dishwasher which makes it much more convenient as I am a working mother.  The clean up is just as easy for the hand mixer.  I get a damp cloth and just wipe the actual mixer each and every time after each use. It has been a blessing for me to use.  I would recommend this product to any one.  It a great deal for the money. ... I use this gadget every time I bake anything.  It saves a lot of room, for other gadgets, and come handy when you don't have enough room for a big mixer while cooking.  I feel that every household should have this gadget, because it has save space for me and it is an easy clean up item.</p><p> </p>...
