My old coffee maker died all of a sudden,no warning. I went out and bought this coffee maker and I love it! I cant say enough about how cool this coffee maker is! It is programable, has a perminate coffee filter, comes with a scoop for coffee. The best part is the crafe does not spill coffee when you poor it! The style is great and sleek. the functions are easy to set. The price of the coffee maker is about standard or a little low as it is programable. I love the quality of black and decker they make small appliances for familuies on a budget. I would buy this coffee maker with out a doubt agian. The design is stylish, sleek and modern looking to fit in with any kitchen. Price point is good or average for a family on a tight budget. I would recomend this particular coffee maker to anyone and even blog about it. It is an economical way to have a quality programable coffee maker. 5 Star all the way!

The handle on the DE755 coffee maker sled up which let the pot fall over spilling all the product Be careful you could get burned I checked the screw on the clamp and it was still tight and couldnt tighten it anymore

Just about everyone of the black and decker appliances I own are
just horrible. Toaster makes uneven toast that takes forever. The
coffee maker dribbles and doesnt get hot enough. Also have
a hand held whipper that the mixing apparatus falls off. Ive had it with
their products. They all suck....

black & decker 12 cup coffeemaker DE755

thumb-bump on carafe lid is too high...hits brewbasket every time using carafe.

water always drips down the backside on countertop when filling water basin.

don't like the gold mesh filter...use traditional paper filters.

it was cheap...it brews the coffee. if you have to pay more than $20 for this DE755...don't purchase. consider a different model from that price range. this is our 7th b&d coffeemaker in 28yrs...we keep coming back....

I just got this coffie maker, we usually just grab the cheapest but we decided we needed one with auto turn on so it would already be made in the morning, and this one works great and they had colors to match my other kitchen appliances....

For $20, this coffee maker does the job. It does take a very long time to make 12 cups of coffee though. But the auto brew works great, and it makes a cup of joe that wakes me up! This is a very basic coffee maker. ...

I'm pleased with my purchase. I've never had a coffee maker with a gold filter, and I kinda like the ease of making coffee without having to buy filters. Has my coffee ready when I wake up, and keeps it at jkust the right temperature....

I personally don't like the gold filter. I use regular filters instead. I'm content with it. The most important thing is, it has my coffee ready in the AM....

that's the only good thing about it - plus it takes a lot more coffee to make the same strength brew than my old Black & Decker did...clock has been completely wacko since right out of the box...impossible to pour coffee without dripping...takes forever to brew...

Sears Grand on Christmas Eve was a stop for curiousity sake for us. Have no one to shop for so we look for deals for us for items we need. My Hamilton Beach Brewstation blew up, so we needed a coffeemaker & not many are available on this day. So we walk back to small appliances & on display is the Black & Decker DE755, with the neat silver nameplate in front & handle to open the top to filter & adding water. It is $19.99 so we bought it.

Fill the 12 cups of water, 3 scoops of Maxwell House arabica coffee & set the timer to 5AM. Next morning we awake to fresh brewing coffee fragrance so we knew it was working. Get cups poured but we are eating our coffee. The pot is loaded with beans as is our cups. So we dump it & try again. The dripless pour is great to sneak a cup while it is brewing. Also may I remind you to push the program button to put a red dot next to the time so you know the brew time is programmed.

The gold filter included & advertised on the box, has a solid bottom...
