The Black and Decker Toaster oven does have a lot of functions which are very useful. It is large enough for a whole pizza too. The only drawback is it takes a little more time.

I'v had many toaster ovens but My Black and decker toaster oven is wonderful. It was a good price and its on sale at Target for 75% off. It has extra large capacity Fits a 12" pizza or casserole dish. My last toaster oven was so small I could barely get two pieces of toast in it. This one has a 60 min. timer and automatically shuts off as a singal bell lets you know cooking is complete. It has a reversible chrome-plated broiling rack U-shaped so it can be positioned in four different ways for maximun versatility. It cleans easily with a nonstick Interior surface. It has a easy view glass door and a removable crumb tray. Makes really good toast and in a reasonable amount of time. i even bake my pork chops in my toaster oven. It also comes with a two year warranty. It fits easily on your counter top and goes well with other appliances. If your in need of a toaster oven and want a good one that works well for the money I recommend this Black and decker.

Quality of manufacture has definitely gone downhill. I think it's because some other company took over Black & Decker.

Even though the Black & Decker TRO700 series toaster oven is a nice looking toaster unit, its functionality is not that wonderful. The B&D has stylish knobs and design, rimless glass front, etc. and I have to also mention the nice crumb guards, but you can find a better working toaster oven at probably the same or better price.

This particular Black & Decker unit is inconsistent to say the least. The following are just some examples of the less than great experiences using this toaster oven. The timer can stick on lower settings. When toasting, if you want the product to only warm to "less than light" the timer knob can stick and continually heat up until its burnt to a crisp. The heating is also uneven on most every setting. If it has "convection" function, it is worthless in a small unit with a side vent. That probably contributes to the uneven heating. Temperature...

A few years ago when our 13 year-old B&D TRO355 finally bit the dust, we replaced it with another of the same model. Everything was fine, but then one day it started getting wonky on us. It would bake but just not toast. Have you noticed how things just don't seem to last as long these days?

But no problem, we got a T-Fal 4 slice toaster. Nice, very nice.

Apparently my in-laws didn't think it sufficient because one day in our old TRO355's place sat a new B&D TRO700. It seems they were over at Costco and bought one for themselves, so why not pick up another one for us. Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate them and I'd understand the gesture better if they brought us over a half a skid of paper towel or garbage bags that they picked up at Costco. But a Toaster Oven? Goodness, I can't wait for them to go shopping for a fridge!

I love how easy is to clean it and practical for parties and every day use. Very convenient to save energy and time, because i dont need to use my oven. It is so easy that even my eight year old grandson can use it to prepare his homemade pizza. I have had it for three years now and looks brand new....

I bought this toster oven because I like toster ovens and I needed one that holds more than two slices. I still use it, but it takes a long time to toast and the toast usually comes out unevenly tosted. The timer broke (for no apparent reason) and it never seemed like the convection did much. All this sounds really negative, but it's not THAT bad. I just wouldn't buy it again....

My Black and Decker toaster oven is a good buy for the money. We had a Krups that last 11 years and were very happy with it but didn't want to spend $130 for another one (this was a wedding gift). After extensive research, we settled on the Black and Decker stainless steel and black version of this. Great toaster oven and easier to clean than our Krups. Especially the front glass. This toaster oven is great! I use it on a daily basis for everything from toast to chicken to cookies. It's great in the summer months when I don't want to use the oven to cook dinner because it's too hot. Or perfect if I'm just making something quick for the kids for lunch like a few chicken nuggets. I've cooked whole meals for my family of 5 for supper in it and we don't use a toaster at all we use this for toast and toaster waffles and things like that too....
