this drill has been good enough to ge the job done but it may take a while to do it. it is almost as if the drill is a little bit out of the angle that would bee comfortable for the aveage person. its pitch on the driver part verses the pressure that you pwant to put on it makes it very hard to keep aligned and you will very easially strip the head of the screw. the power loss of the gun is very difficult to deal with too. it had lost alot of strength after a short period of use and the baterries wear very quickly. the batteries are very costly and they don,t hold up very long. it came with a peice of junk charger that i believe ultimately drained the batteries over time it also broke not long after i had bought it and subsequencially i had to buy a new one . the charge you have to buy seperately is very expensive. in the end the drill has done its job but has caused me frustration and money over the long haul. 2 new batteries and a charger.

Black and decker cordless drill 18 volt has the power to put screws in and remove them. It has the ability to make holes. It has the ability to lock tight drill bits. It has good reversing ability. It has a steady even forward motion. It is a reasonably price drill that every homeowner can buy. It has a hand ability chuck easy to tighten and loosen. It can hold up to 3/8 or bigger drill bit and smaller drill bits. It would make a nice gift for a wife to give her husband. It would also make a nice door prize for a party. I use it for everything I make or do around the house. My friends all like the product. It is even easy enough for a woman to use it. It is light weight and durable. A charge is sufficent to do several jobs with no problems at all.It can be bought at most department stores. It can also be sent in to the company for repair if needed..I would recommend it to every one who does any kind of repair.

I like to do work around the house and always had to borrow my husband's tools. For Christmas I was given the Black and Decker 18 volt re chargeable drill. Now I fight to keep it in my tool cabinet as my husband keeps borrowing it for his workshop.

The drill stays charged longer than the other two we have which is a big plus and is much better balanced so it's easier to use and my arm doesn't get as tired when putting together bookshelves or other projects I build. Wish I had spent the money to buy it when it first came out but didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do. Now I have it, my husband says he needs a good gift for Father's Day and holds up the drill to make sure I know what he means.
