I have owned my black & decker handy chopper plus for over 6 years and is still as reliable as the day I purchased it. I love using my handy chopper it speeds up the process of mincing, shredding, pureeing, or chopping. I use it to chop green peppers, chicken, garlic, jalopenos, avacados, AND Onions! I now longer have to waste tears crying over. This handy chopper is a kitchen must, a time saver, and perhaps even a finger saver!!!

The chopper's bowl (1.5 cup capacity), lid, and blade are all dishwasher safe and easily stored away due to it's compact design. Some may complain about the size; however, I find it a positive because it minizes space use on my counter tops and I don't have large amounts of chopping to do. The plastic bowl does show wear and tear after time; however, it's just an aesthetics thing.

I strongly recommend the purchased of this handy chopper for anyone who spends time in the kitchen.

We got this as a gift when we moved into our new house. It is very helpful to have a chopper when cooking but it could be a lot better. It gets clogged alot and is kinda hard to clean I would like to put it in the dish washer but it doesn't say dishwasher safe so I am affraid to put it in there because it might melt or come out crookeed or wonky and then the blades won't spin propperly and then it will be even more useless than it already it.

I would spend the extra money and get a full size food processor. You can do so many more things with that.

I use one of these babies at work (restaurant cook), and had to get one for home. It's a great chopper for when you need just a little - like onion and celery for a potato salad. One button ease, just press longer for smaller pieces. So many times it's easier to use a knife than lug out the food processor, but keep this on hand and the job's done in no time. Recommend highly. Much better than higher prices "professional" products I've used. No unnecessary gadgets to break

love this chopper it is very small and its handy to use..it occupies very less space on the counter or we can keep it where ever we want it is light weight .It chops the vegetables in seconds.It is good for small family....

The Black & Decker HandyChopper Plus is a Fabulous little chopper. I use it for everything, herbs, onions, puree canned beans for addition to soups, maul some canned tomatos to pour over pasta, whatever I need this chopper works. When I was comparing the choppers in the kitchen department at the local department store the Black & Decker HandyChopper Plus stood out because it had a great price, the functions I was looking for, an attractive look to it and comes with the pieces I needed to use. When I got it home it proved to be a powerful little machine and I was also impressed with the Black & Decker Limited Warranty which is included with purchase....

The Black and Decker HandyChopper/Food Processor is a great little gadget. It is perfect for smaller portions and is pretty durable. Hardly takes up any counter space. I use this product on a daily basis. It is a great help in the kitchen....

This onion chopper is great. I use it to make soups the most. I hate having to cut up onions over the sink! This makes it way quicker and its easy to clean up and store....

I love the Black and Decker Handy Chopper. I cook large meals for a large family including a toddler who will eat things like onions if she can't see them in the meal. The Handy Chopper makes it real easy to chop food so small that she can't eat see it. The Handy Chopper works great on all foods so my daughter still gets the foods she needs like carrots. The Black and Decker Handy Chopper is also real easy to clean. I just throw the bowl in the dish washer and carefully wipe the blades. There is no mess. It is easy to use and easy to clean....

This little chopper is everything that was advertised. It makes cutting up onions a breeze plus all the other chopping you can do with it. Over the holidays, Thanksgiving, I made several salads that required onions and I do so dislike all the crying. That is why I am recommending this product....
