We have 2 ( 3 up until a week ago-rest in piece, Clover ) small dogs. Riley (pom puppy) and Wolfie (yorkie). They get run of the living room while we're at work, and occassionally we come home to a mess or two - understandable. The Bissell SpotBot makes clean up a breeze! We've used the cheaper spot vacs, and every time, for whatever reason, they break. Just goes to show, you get what you pay for. My only half-beef with the machine is that it eats up the cleaning fluid really fast. All in all, we couldn't be happier with this product!

We just purchased the Bissell Spotbot and so far I am very impressed with how it works. It has given me my sanity back because all I do is stare at the spots on my carpet that I can not get out on my own. Now all I have to do is plug in my spotbot and walk away. The only down fall of this product is that it requires a lot of cleaning solution. My advice would be to just spray the spots by hand and fill the reservoir for water and cleaning solution with just water. It should give you the same results with out so much cleaning solution waste. The cleaning cycle doesn't take too long and it can be a little noisy, but it really is worth it. I was a little shocked by the price of this item, but I feel that it will pay for itself in the end. I actually had my carpets professionally cleaned a few months back and they were unable to get a spot out of my carpet. I decided to use the spotbot on the same spot and the spot didn't disappear completely, but almost. Two thumbs up to...

Bissell SpotBot Pet...love it. Works great on light or heavy spots. A little noisy but heavy spots only takes 6 minutes for the full cycle. The hose does a good job of drying the carpet. Works great on cleaning upholstery also. Bought on sale but would have paid regular price, well worth the cost. A must for a house with 6 dogs.

Puppies are hard to housebreak and they can ruin you carpets in the process. I had a regular size carpet shampooer--heavy, time-consuming to set up, and hard to clean--not very handy for cleaning up unexpected puppy accidents. I was watching a show on animal planet and they demonstrated the SpotBot Pet Handsfree Compact carpet cleaner, it was definitely an item i was going to further investigate. I found one at the local K-Mart--not exactly cheap--but I was desperate for a faster, easier way to clean up the puppy spots. I have to say that it was the best $129.99 I ever spent. It is miraculous! It's small, it's lightweight, it's easy to use. You just fill it with water and the carpet shampoo you're using, plug it in, set it on the spot, turn it on and leave it. It will let you know when it's done. It has settings for surface stains and set-in stains. It also has a hose with an attachable brush to manually clean areas where you might not be able to set the SpotBot. It's very easy...
