Have only used this twice, but seems to work alright. I like that it's very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's easy to bring out and use when you are in a hurry. Does a nice job of cleaning, but didn't seem to take up the stains. The instructions did say to pretreat any noticable stains which I didn't do so I will have to try that next time & maybe it will be better. You do have to be careful when you put the water tank on. Make sure that the cap is screwed on tightly and don't leave it sit to long because it tends to leak out from the clean water tank. That's about the only thing I really don't like about it. I loved that it didn't take a long time to dry. The instructions said it may take 4-5 hours, but I think it only took about an hour or so. Overall nice product for the price & size....

I was shopping around for a carpet shampooer and I shopped a lot of stores. Well lo and behold I found this smaller, easy to use Bissell Quick Steam Machine Vacuum at a price I couldn't believe.$68.00. I brought it home and my husband kind of looked at me like "What is that"? I had been wanting to buy a carpet shampooer for years but just didn't want to put out the big money for one. So when I told him the price of this Bissell Quick Steam Machine Vacuum, well he was struck quiet. He didn't think for that kind of money it would work.

Well I just absolutely love it. It is so easy to use and does a wonderful job. I have five dogs and all but one lives in the house. I needed a good carpet cleaner and one that was not so heavy and hard to use. The Bissell Quick Steam Machine does a great job for me. I have had this machine for about one month so I do not know the longevity of this machine.

I bought this cleaner while it was onsale. It is well worth the money. It cleans good and is very easy to use. I use it often to clean up after pet mesess. I have owned it for 3 years now and have had no promblems with it. It handles abuse and is reliable. It has never broken down and i have not had to replace any parts. It is wonderful. I am so glade bought this product...

I vacuum daily. Being a pet owner it is a must. I own a Bissell vacuum and it is the best purchase I have ever made. Having a steam machine and vacuum all in one is the greatest! It makes life so much easier. The vacuum is easy to operate and clean. I have had other vacuums and steam machines and they have never been this easy to use and clean. I would definitely recommend this product....

This Bissell Steam Clean machine we bought several months ago. It works great on every kind of carpet. It works great on cleaning every pet hair & visible fiber. However, it does soak up the chemicals & water very rapidly, and it requires lots of work to reload & refill during usage, of maybe 7 times at once during an entire house cleaning, which slows a person down of getting the job done. An entire home can be done in 1-2 hours. The cleaning up for storage of the unit is very messy & little bit time consuming. However, it's an overall nice machine to have since it saves literally hundreds of dollars in steam cleaning bills alone. It will pay for itself in just a few times usage. It's great for high traffic carpet usage. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have, but be prepared to WORK for what you pay for....

Don't let your friends know you have one of these, it's hard to get them to give it back. I borrowed one, and kept it over a month... Then I bought my own - This is my second one, the first one worked great for 10 years (with several new brushes) & it would still be going strong except my friend borrowed it once too often. It broke because it was used without the plastic filer cover and sponge on it.

I have 4 pets and use it for pet clean up, traffic areas, wall to wall carpets and tile floors too. I have used it to clean the filthy screen porch floor (painted cement) and many times sucked up minor flooding by the patio door, and even confess to using the shower head to rinse the bathroom floor and suck up the dirt & dust with it - keeping my bathroom tile floor looking spotless. Yes, I do have to throw down a towel and push it around with my foot afterwords, it does leave some water on tile floors.

I love the feature changes and improvements on the new one. Both are/were very light-weight,......

This steam cleaner works on carpet well, but not as good as it should. I like how light the steamer is, and it is easy to use. Not for light carpet though!...

I have been through 3 bissell carpet cleaners in the past 6 years. IThey die within 2 years everytime. I use them for emergency spot treatments and for cleaning the households carpet. The motors start getting weaker and weaker until they finally go "Ka put". though they do OK work while they are new however it usually takes several passes to satisfy me. As long as they can be bought for under $100 they are not worth it

I bought this cleaner when both my "heavy-duty" vacuum and floor mop brokedown as the price was affordable. This little machine worked great on my area rugs and for spot cleaning. Expected better performance for "mopping" hardwood floor; it left too much water on floors. Overall it is a good cleaner, lightweight, and easy to use. ...

i loved this machine my baby was wanting to crawl around i just just knew he would catch something.i went a nd brought at 68 bucks,it took a while to clean my apartment,and you must pretreat stains{i use fantisik oxy or shout}.overall im so happy now when water or whatever spills on the floor the rag doesn't come up black.now there are no attachments but i do my steps ,it was a workout but they look brand new.my 10yr old has a habit of dragging trash doen the stairs,which left some nasty smelly stains.they're all gone and the house smells great....
