I bought this vacuum 9 months ago and I still absolutely love it. I have 3 dogs, 3 kids, a husband, a mother in law, a little brother, and my other brother's 3 kids that I am there nanny that are here all the time. I needed a vacuum that worked. I researched and fondled, researched and fondled. I heard complaints about weight, sound, clogs etc. I don't have a problem with the weight or sound. However it does get clogged quite often, I most certainly don't expect anything less than with all the traffic and pets. I just get out my shopvac and clean it out real good. I would recommend this vacuum to anybody it is a great machine.

I purchased the vacuum because I needed an upright to complement my 25-year old Sears Kenmore canister vacuum when the heavy-duty power attachment died. The Bissell is a piece of garbage. First, it's heavy. Second, in order to fully clean it, not only do I have to empty the cup, but I have to remove the bottom section of the vac (six screws) to disengage hair tangled in the rotating brush. This is not occasionally; it is every time I use the vacuum. In my lifetime I have never had to disassemble a vacuum after every use (1-2 times/week). The final irony is that I have to use my old vacuum to clean out the hose of the new vac because the suction is so pitiful it clogs....again, every time I use it. I have a small house, some carpet but mostly hardwood, so this extra work just the clean the machine is ridiculous. Last Bissell in this house.

I have purchased the Bissell lift off revolution pet vaccum and have had it for about two years. I have to say that I love this vaccum. It has a detachable canister that i use when cleaning out my cars. I don't have any stairs but if I did it would work great. I have now three dogs, yellow lab puppy, black lab little older puppy and jack russell terrier. All shedding very bad right now with the change of season. I have a large home with wall to wall carpet. It takes me half the time to vaccum my home with my bissell than it did with my other vaccum. I have to empty the vaccum once, which is great compared to three and four times with other vaccum. It is light weight and easy to clean. All I do is rinse out dirt collector and the filters. The vaccum has a long cord, so I can clean whole house without moving plug. It was well worth the price for me and recommended it to my father and my in laws which also have pet. Rumor has it that they love it too.

LOVE THIS! Bissell Pet Hair Lift Off. Had it about 6 months now....fantastic. The Lift Off is great for the stairs and ceilings. Pet hair works great. VERY easy to take apart and clean

( I hate it when smells get caught in the hose and filters, so glad I can thoroughly clean them.) No problems with clogging or loss of suction.

The Bissell Lift Off Pet Resolution vacuum is the best vacuum I have ever bought. I tried many different vacuum cleaner brands and none of them compare to the Bissell brand, especially this one.

We have two adult dogs and four adult cats so one can imagine how much hair would get imbedded into our carpets and on our furniture. I take out my Bissell Lift Off and when I vacuum all of the hair comes up easily due to the strong suction of the vacuum. It's easy to maneuver and very easy to clean. It would probably help to have an extra foam filter handy so that when you wash one you don't need to wait until it dries before using the vacuum again.

I am very pleased at how easy this vacuum picks up and would definitely purchase this brand again. You can see the carpet become clean while you go.

Bissell Lift off Revolution Pet Vacuum is the best vacuum I have owned. I would recommend this product to anyone, even if they did not own a pet. You can turn off the rotating brush so it works great on hard floors; it doesn't spit the particles out in all directions like other vacuums tend to do. It does a great job of picking up pet hair on all surfaces, even on furniture. The filters are easy to clean, just throw them into the washing machine and let dry. It even has an indicator that tells you when they are dirty. You do need to clean them regularly though or it doesn't get good suction. The cord is super long so you don't have to unplug and use another outlet. I can use one outlet for half the house. The attachments are handy and easy to use. They include a turbo brush for small areas and an adjustable extending arm for the hose. The canister is also detachable for those tight spots.

The Bissell Lift Off Revolution Pet Vacuum is a great value. It works hard and has good suction. We had a dog for two of the years that we had this vacuum, and it works well to remove pet hair from carpet and upholstery.

The lift-off feature is really handy for stairs and getting into tight spaces. Also, cleaning this vacuum is easy as pie. I clean the filter about every 2 weeks just by rinsing it out in the sink and letting it air dry. I'd really recommend this vacuum for people who have carpeted floors and pets!

I only have two minor problems with this vacuum. The first is the hand tools. I do not find that they have good suction, and most of the time I find that they don't work as well as I'd like. We mostly have carpet, so this is not a big deal for me, but if you compulsively clean upholstery or need to clean large areas of bare floor or tile, this might prove to be more of a problem.

Bissell LiftOff Pet edition is lightweight. The hose is already attached and ready to use. It comes with a special upholstery brush that rotates to remove pet hair. I can go from hardwood to carpet with no adjustment setting. The hose is long enough to go up my stairs without taking the vacuum with me.

This is a great vacuum!! I love it! It really works great in the little crevices you can't reach. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacuum. It's worth it....

I was gifted the Bissel Lift Off as a hand-me-down from my brother's family, and it was Okay at first. It was 6 months old and the bristles for the carpet were stringy. We have it now for over a year and it's starting to lose suction, and we DO clean it like every 2 months because it DOES lose suction so quickly. The dirt canister also fills up pretty quickly. I have a german shep/husky mix and this thing MISSES pet hair on a regular basis. I have to vacuum rooms twice, and sometimes three times before most of it is picked up. The lift off feature is nice, but it's bulky. The upholstery attachment was a waste of plastic (doesnt work). We have decided to trash this piece of crap and go with Consumer's Reports Best Buy: Eureka Boss. Wish us luck!...

I bought this vacuum on a recommendation from a woman in the aisle at the store, that had one and loved it. For me, it is too heavy, too wide, and I don't like the upholstery tool. Additionally, the hand tool, that is for pet hair pick up, is pretty ineffective. It is fine for large open spaces, and cleans well, but is awful for around tighter spaces and furniture. The lift off feature is nice for stairs, but I tend to fall back on my little hand vac which is easier and cleans just as well. I don't forsee that I will keep this vacuum for a lot longer. ...

I absolutely love my Bissell Liftoff Revolution Pet Vacuum. Before I would have to vacuum 3 times a day just to get all of the cat hair up. With the Liftoff the cat hair comes right up without having to go over the same spot a million times. Its wonderful and I recommend it to everyone!

I have had this vacuum , the Bissell Lift Off Revolution Pet Vacuum,for about six months. OMG! It is just great. We have two golden retrievers and a sheltie. Lots of dog hair! I vacuum everyday. My husband wanted me to get another vacuum so we could use the old one (also a bissell) in the basement. Now that I can see through the canister, I can't believe how much hair is in the vacuum everyday. Its a mid priced vacuum but is worth it. ...

We had purchased a Bissell 37601 Lift Off w/ detachable canister (an earlier model / very similar looking) two years ago. Recently the belt broke, we replaced it, and the bottom brush would stop spinning when hitting the carpet. It stopped picking up dirt because of this. The top canister still worked...

We had a 4 year warranty so we returned the vacuum to the store. We decided to buy the "upgraded" version. Bissell Lift Off Revolution. When we got it home, I tried using this vacuum. It was hard to use on the rug. Either it would start burning up in order to be close enough to the floor to pick up dirt or it was too high and wouldnt pick anything up and end up throwing sand around. Also the exaust helps with tossing sand/dirt everywhere.

So then I tried to vacuum the carpet in our bedroom and I kept getting a shock by the back end of the vacuum whenever it touched my leg. ouch!

I wish they still had the same vacuum in stock that we used to have. It worked much better than this so called......
