big Brother 9 what can I say about this years big brother, It is one of the best yet but big brother 8 was the very best I am so glade that Josh and James are finally out of the house now the adults can play the game the way it should be played I want Sheila or Adam to win the money they deserve it.... it gets worse every season. But, BB9 takes the cake for most disappointing. Its half over and I still couldn't care less. This is not the days of Janey and Keysar and Dr. Will and chill town and...even Evel Dick. This is, by far, the most boring cast. There is not even one brain cell between them all. blah....

This years Big Brother is great. My husband and I watch every Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday! The only downside is waiting so long from Wed to Sunday!...

I don't watch a lot of t.v. In fact, there are only two or three shows I ever watch. Big Brother is one that I NEVER miss! I have seen every season since the show started. I don't know what it is, I just like to see how people interact with each other.

The basis of the show is they throw 16 houseguests into one house together. There is no t.v., no radio, absolutely nothing for them to do but interact with each other. They pick people from different backgrounds, different races, different religions, different sexual preferences, and just let them go at it. Each week someone is voted out of the house by the other houseguests. The last person in the house wins something like 1/2 a million dollars. (I'm not sure of the amount)

Big Brother also has a different twist, almost every season. One year they had twin sisters in the house, but they posed as the same girl. One of them was always behind the scenes and they would switch back & forth without the other players knowing. ...

I have watched BB for years. Almost every year since it began, with the exception of the second year. I have enjoyed most of them, but there seems to be a shift toward the younger crowd in the past years. What's wrong with a more mature houseguest? I enjoyed Dick last year with his scheming and was really glad he won.

This year seems to be unique with the couples idea, but once again most of them are young. The one that was older is a pain because she really didn't care for her partner. She seems to be doing better with him as the season goes on. How long will it last no one knows.

I feel BB needs to put more mature people in the house along with the young to balance out the tanturms. A little goes a long way. I truely hope that things will pick in the next season.

Back in January, I talked to someone that was going to a water park here in the frozen tundra. Sure, it was an indoor water park, but there are just some things that aren't meant to be enjoyed in the winter. Who wants to see anyone in a swim suit with Christmas fat and pale skin? The same can now be said about Big Brother. CBS recently launched a winter version of the show, obviously in lieu of other programming because of the writers' strike, but it's just not the same as what we look forward to as our summer's guilty pleasure.

Big Brother has always been a fun thing to watch in the summer, as there was nothing else on really. And when you really got into it, you could even get the live feeds through Real Player. Last summer, it seemed to be the best ever as Dick Donato and his daughter, Danielle, went on to the final 2. Some definitely enjoyable personalities were there, and a few irritating as well. But it was fun to watch the irritating ones, wondering what Amber was going to cry about......
