We always made plain old chocolate chip cookies until we discovered betty crocker oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix! The best thing about this is that it uses real butter so it does taste like i sifted the flour and measured everything into the bowl. My kids LOVE this stuff and my husband scarfs them down too. I come out looking like a star mom every time!

betty crocker products, like the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix has been one of my very favorite. I can turn cookie mix into date bars, topping for a new twist of apple crisp or simply make the betty crocker cookie mix as suggested on the package and then add some raisins or coconut for a different flavor. I have also added pineapple , coconut flavoring and pecans to make betty crocker hawaiin cookies and my family thinks i'm a full fledged magician. Eating betty crocker oatmeal chocolate chip cookies right out the oven is the best way to have your cookie and eat it too, with milk of course. Now, I've been around for fifty-four years and have been making goodies for many years. I've found some shortcuts through betty crocker cookie mixes and the outcome is as if i slaved the entire day over a hot stove. Now to me shortcuts are wonderful for this busy mother and grandmother. so hip hip hooray for betty crocker oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix.

I love these cookies! Oatmeal-based cookies are some of my favorites and these Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are terrific. The Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are moist and tasty. My wife even sometimes adds pecans to the mix fo alittle tasty "bonus".

To me, these Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are also terrific 'raw' (uncooked). I can actually eat an entire package over the space of a few days.

I recommend you try Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. I gave them a FIVE-STAR rating for this review.

I love to bake, but sometimes I need a little help from a boxed mixed when I am pressed for time. I was thrilled to find Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies on the store shelf, because the picture of the cookies on the box looked amazing, however I did not get those exact results. The mix is easy to use with a few ingredients from your kitchen and is a great blend of oats and chocolate chips. These cookies bake in about 20 minutes, but they came out really flat and crisp. They didn't have the fresh oatmeal taste I was expecting. These cookies are good, but do taste like they are from a box, but also have a sweet flavor of chocolate. Each serving is about 110 calories. These are great for when you don't have much time and need to bake, but they definitely don't taste homemade. They do have a great aroma and are great for serving for a light dessert....

Red is my favorite color so when I saw the packaging of the Betty Crocker Oatmeal Cookie Mix my arm automatically reached out and placed the item in my cart. Made by General Mills and touted to be the same as homemade in 20 minutes I must disagree. The mix is essentially the dry ingredients required in a regular recipe. Top the mix you must still cream the butter, add egg and water and then stir in any additions you want like nuts, craisins, raisins, chocolate or butterscotch chips. After all of that you may as well have measured out the dry ingredients as well.

I was not impressed with the end results. The cookies were lovely in color and looked delicious but they certainly were not the same as homemade and lacked something I can't identify. They were still made with love ;-) so that can't be it...

My husband managed to scarf them down anyway so they were edible and passed the husband test. I will save my calories for a better cookie.

In this rather harsh economic climate-despite what THEY say we are in a recession-dessert is becoming more and more of a luxury. The Corner Bakery and Panera Bread are still my favorite dessert haunts, but with the price of everything going up I have cut back substantially on my visits to those two monuments to the confectionary arts.

But, I still have a voracious sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate and chocolate chip cookies and one of the low cost ways I have found to appease it comes in the form of packaged cookies from Betty Crocker found in my local Jewel grocery store aisle. One variety is Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. Why Betty Crocker? Read on fellow cookie lover read on.

My Viewpoint

Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are a blend of real oatmeal and semi-sweet Chocolate Chips. The result: well they are mixed. While the cookies themselves are tasty, they are rather flat, and frankly look nothing like the cookies on the package.
