After seeing a few of the recent Disney films, I have come to the conclusions; young parents need to bring back the classic Disney films into their homes. For the new Pixar /Disney films are not for children anymore in my opinion.

Let’s don't forget all the classic Disney's films, most of us watched as kids. From Snow White to Bed-Knobs and Broomsticks, Peter Pan to Sleeping Beauty, the old Disney films always had a message. Yes some of the new ones are OK; Pixar has done a few good films with Disney such as Toy-Story. But recently they have become too political or too environmental. They have lost the individual influence that the classics and Walt himself had to contain.

In the last twenty years, only Lion King and the Little Mermaid have the distinction of being a classic in my opinion because it has upheld a real message of family, right from wrong, strive to be......

I would have to say that my favorite Disney films are when Walt Disney was behind them. After Walt, the films seemed to take a downward in quality and story. The stories seemed stronger and have seemingly gotten weaker through the years.

1. Classics like Aladdin - A charming, but down-on-his luck Aladdin stumbles across the wealthy, but humbly-beautiful Princess Jasmine and loses his heart. Unfortunately, Princess Jasmine can only marry a prince. Aladdin's luck makes a drastic turn when he meets a magic Genie who grants him three wishes.

2. Robin Hood - The story of the legendary Robin Hood and his mission to help the poor comes to life in cartoon form with some lovable forest friends in Disney's Robin Hood movie. Sherwood Forest buzzes with activity as Robin the fox and Little John the bear battle the evil sheriff and Prince John with Sir Hiss the snake caught in the middle. This is funny, happy, enjoyable entertainment for families of all ages.

3. Mulan (A great girl impowering film)......

Okay, so I am not a big television fan. I dont like using television as my babysitter. My kids get to watch 30 minutes of television per day- max. They have the option during that time to watch a Walt Disney movie or to watch Sesame street. Guess which one they choose?!

Over the last 6 months I have gotten to rewatch all the disney classic movies as well as to watch the new Disney movies. Below is my "best of" list of Disney movies and Disney characters. I will highlight my top 5 and then tell you all the others that I think are worth rewatching yourself.

My top Disney Movies

1. Toy Story- Wow is this movie creative! The story is about a little boys toys that come to life. Woody, the favorite toy is worried about getting demoted to a less important toy because of the introduction of Buzz light year. The characters are adorable and the storyline is so well developed. Buzz Light Year and Woody are two of my favorite Disney Characters. Toy Story 2 is also a great movie.

2. Finding Nemo. Perhaps...
...
