I have used several of the Child Safety Products and I will agree that some work better than others. The cupboard locks work really well to keep little children out of dangerous products. THe toilet lock can be confusing for people who visit you and have no children, And the doorknob covers are good until the children reach the age where they can pull it apart and remove it from the doorknob. And the outlet covers work well also until a curious child learns that they can pull them out. I have used several of these products and have been to friends' houses who have them around. Most of the Child Safety Products are a good investment but dont soley rely on them to make your home child proof. But i would recommend them to start off with the child proofing of your home.

The prducts by Safety 1st that we have tried have been very effective in preventing accidents in our home. We especially needed the outlet covers! They aren't flimsy like some of the cheaper ones we've tried. The baby monitor has excellent sound quality and I've had the same one since my baby shower, still with no complaints! We have also purchased Safety 1st's baby nail clippers, medicine dropper, thermometer, pacifiers and carrier. I am quite satisfied with all of their products.

I love the line of Safety First products. They are always easy to use and accomplish just what I need them too. They are also fairly inexpensive and as a mom of 3 boys that's a very big point in my book....

We used the standard sized outlet plugs until my daughter nearly suffocated. We now use SafetyCaps which you can get them at safetycaps dot com.

They are made in Vermont to ensure a quality product.

They are recommend by hospitals everywhere.

i thought it was rather enlightening to find a site with so many different categories. it was nice that they had message boards so you could post comments and shear with other moms your experiences....

We were introduced to the magnetic door locks and we did all our kitchen cabinets when our son started crawling! They are the best!!!!! I can't stress how great they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't see them and when you try to open the cabinet it seems like it is a panel and not a door, atest to that by my plumber!@ They are great, and baby can't get in. He was so smart that he could open any other kind of baby locks...

Most parents worry about the safety of their children and of visiting children to their home. Recently while having a play date I was astounded at the number and variety of safety products that were being used. I remember with my first child I had to have every safety product available, but with four children, I have found that there are 6 absolutely essential home safety products for every mom of a mobile child.

Safety 1st Door Knob Covers or Lever Door Lock Covers: My daughters learned early to open the doors of the house. Front doors, bedroom doors, bathroom, closet or panty, it didn't matter. With opening the doors a whole new set of safety concerns occurs. One of the cuter aspects was when my 2 yr old helped herself to "snack" a friend of mine actually had a child wonder out to the garage.
