Whenever I do an inside paint job I have used Behr Interior Satin Paint. I do not think there is such a thing as a paint you only need to apply one coat of, sadly, but with two coats applied properly this paint always looks really nice when you are done. I have not used any pre-paint layers either, this alone, with a few coats, does the job well. There are a lot of colors to choose from as well and they match my options perfectly as desired. The cost is a little high but I think it is a reasonable price - not too high and not too cheap. There is a reason paint is cheap in price: becaseu it is also cheap in quality. Behr is great quality paint and lasts a long time! The particular paint colors I have used were a dark green, and their selections of white and off white have also come out looking fantastic in my kitchen area. I have repainted twice so far now due to needing to repair walls and holes etc. but the paint still looks great: no chipping, peeling, fading or anything...

We used to use another brand for all our interior painting, then we read in a popular consumer magazine that they tested and rated Behr paint the overall best. We tried it and weren't disappointed - it goes on really smooth and covers very easily. I would highly recommend it.

There isn't a paint product that Behr makes that isn't top notch. My husband and I flip houses and have gone through our share of paint. We have tried all the big name brands including Sherwin Willians, Duron, Benjamin Moore, Glidden and none of them can even come close the the quality of Behr. The first time we tried it I was praising it to everyone, we use the Behr satin paint in living rooms, bedrooms and laundry rooms. It is silky and smooth goes on easily and stays put without running or stickyness. It cleans up easily and will last and last. You can even wipe down a wall covered in this paint if it gets dirty without any issues. I cannot say how much paying the few extra dollars are worth it against Glidden or America's Best. The high priced names I mentioned above are a waste of money. Save money purchase Behr paints the next time you have a project and you will be the happiest person around no matter if you are a beginner or professional Behr is always the best you can buy.

We recently bought Behr Interior Satin finish paint for several rooms in our house. I had an older paint sample fan from a different manufacturer, and the Home Depot was able to exactly match my color chips. The paint had a nice thickness and was easy to apply. Each gallon was true to the color chip and looked great on the walls.

I have used more expensive paints in the past, but the coverage of the Behr paint was the best! It really did cover in one coat, even in yellow, which in the past has required multiple coats. I just assumed it would require 2 coats, so I was not trying to apply the paint heavily. I was extremely pleased that I could not find any thin spots that needed a second coat. And, I definitely got up close to find the old paint color showing through.

The Behr paint was a least $8-10 less a gallon than other brands I have used and buying when they offer a $5 per can rebate saves even more!

Behr Interior Satin Plus paint dries extremely fast. You have to roll on the paint coverage complete with each roll or the finish looks like a semi-gloss finish. The Home Depot has no remedy for the quick drying or the semi-gloss finish. I WOULD NOT recommend this satin paint. Glidden's satin paint looks 100% better at a better price. Behr covers in one coat, but not the finish desired. ...

Picked up a quart of Behr white semi-gloss to finish the trim around a new bay window in my kitchen. Bare wood was covered nicely with Kilz primer (two coats). With new brushes applied the Behr paint and couldn't have been more disappointed. Brush marks, failure to cover was the norm. Don't waste your money unless you like to paint, watch it dry, and paint again because of poor coverage....

This painting experience was a good one. I have had to paint two sometimes three coats to cover the wall . I painted my room with one coat and was in the room hanging pictures in just hours.......I love that!!!!...

I have just used Behr interior satin paint for the first time and it will be the last, I have painted for many years and never came across paint with so many problems. I painted 5 rooms, all different colors. Each color went on differently even though i was covering your basic eggshell color in each room. The first room the paint would start eating trough the paint i was covering after about 2 min and just turned into a huge mess. Started getting oiley spots on the wall and went i went bad over it to smooth it out it brought up the paint behind it, It felt like i applying putty instead of paint. Had to thin the paint down and put on lighter coats on two walls to avoid it from happening to the whole room. On to the next color, wasnt covering that well so i thined it down a bit and went on better but not great, Third room i did the same thing as the second since it didnt take that much work and it was ok, The fourth room was awefull, I rolled...

I love the Behr paint that is sold at our local HomeDepot. My husband and I recently purcahsed our first home and I have gone paint crazy! My favorite color that I purchased is Pebble Stone. This is a great color to choose for a wall if you are in to earth tones like I am. We have brown carpet and sage green couches and the Pebble Stone color is a great contrast against our decor. I have purchased other Behr paint products and I would definatly recommend this product to everyone!...

I have been remodling houses for many years and Behr paint is the worst I've ever used. It doesn't coat well and I've had these odd oily drips leech out of the paint in one room. I've had to coat some walls as many as four and five times to get even color and good coverage. I always avoid using Behr paint if at all possible....

I bought a 55 year old house about 18 months ago. The previous owners and I did not share decorating tastes. I painted every room (except for the rooms with wooden walls) and Bher was with us every step of the way. I have color, smooth walls and no chipping fading or do overs. The color matching was great, we took in our kitchen cabinets and they matched the color exactly so we could paint the trim in the kitchen the same color. Fantastic product.

being a single mom, i need things that work the first time. when it was time to picking paint, i was a bit overwhelmed. there are dozens of choices. i finally settled on the Behr and i am so glad it did. it covered beautifully in 1 coat. it was so amazed that i didn't have to do a second coat. it used behr for my living room, bathroom, kitchen and dining. it cleans up great. with 3 kids, we have lots of messes and the finish holds up to repeated scrubbing... even 3 years later. i will choose the brand for every pain job i have.
