Bedtime Stories was one those movies that I was not certain I wanted to watch but decided to watch it anyway to see what it was all about. The previews of the movie looked interesting and fun. I am not a huge fan of Adam Sandler, but I liked him in this movie. He plays basically what you would call a loser until he becomes involved with his sister's children and they change his life.

He works for his father's company as a handyman, for many years after the company was bought out and rebuilt. His sister comes to him for help when she loses her job and she needs to find another job in another state. She needs him to help her along with a friend to watch her children while she is away for a week. During this week that she is away, he watches the children at night and tells them stories. They children have a very strange guinea pig that seems to able to grant wishes or somehow help in making the stories come to life. So everytime that he tells a story, something in the story comes to life....

This is a movie that I wasn't completely sure about when I rented it. Bedtime Stories turned out to be much better than I expected. Sometimes, you never know what to expect with Adam Sandler. I like his acting alot but sometimes it is a bit off color for the kids. The comedy that is. I saw the previews and we rented it. There were some off color comedy spots but not as bad as some of his previous movies. It was a fun movie. He was put in the position of taking care of his niece and nephew who he had little contact with in the past. There mother didn't allow them to watch TV, eat sugar, meat, and lots of other things. Their Uncle taught them alot about the other life in his most humorous way. This is a good movie for children ages 12 and up to watch.

I was a bit concerned about this one. The reviews were soooo bad! I love Adam Sandler movies. This one is great, my daughter did not know what see was laughing at but she did for the whole movie. I think reviewers have a terrible job and I cannot understand what they are reviewing. I am sure they do not consider Adam Sandler a quality actor since all he does is make people laugh! He does not put himself in the tabloids like the rest of them.

The movie is a throw back to the old days. It reminded me of another movie but I cannot remember what it was. It was a story telling movie but with a different plot. I think the kids were funny. It was really enjoyable and I am sure this is one we will buy. I think we have all of his movies or at least most of them. Comedies are great especially now since life seems so stressful. I am not sure if there was a message to this one but it sure was cute. I hope everyone watches it!

If you haven't seen this movie yet, go rent it this instant! Children and adults of all ages will love this hilarious and amazingly adorable movie. "Bedtime Stories" is just that, a series of bedtime stories that, when told by the two children in the movie, come true. Follow this movie through a serious of hilarious encounters with Adam Sandler. My favorite person in this movie, though, would have to be Russel Brand's character. He brings so much comedy to this movie, it's unreal. Cildren will like the sheer comedy in this movie, while the adults will pick up on the comedy geared towards them that the kids don't understand. Sticking with the movie will result in laughs, thoughts, and maybe even a feaw tears (or was that just me?). So, rent the movie (or buy it, if you like it enough), put it in, pop some popcorn, and watch this flick with your whole family. Everyone is garunteed to love it.

Bedtime Stories was great. This is a movie I'd take my kids to see again. Nothing that you would make them cover their eyes and ears for and that's important!! Sandler is funny and crazy...his usual self and it was a surprisingly funny movie.

Once again Adam Sandler shined in Bedtime Stories!! This movie is a wonderful movie to watch with the whole family. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!! It was not only very funny (as all of Adam Sandler's movies are), but it was heart-warming as well. This is a movie that will uplift your spirits and put a smile on your face every time you think of it. Adam Sandler's character is loveable, easy to relate to and will no doubt remind everyone that even as adults, somewhere deep inside of us, there is still a child who's imagination is endless and can take us on any adventure we've ever dreamed of, if only we believe!!

Love Adam Sandler movies, but seriously Adam Sandler in a kid friendly movie? No way...very skeptical about that, boy was I wrong! This movie is wonderful! An outstanding family movie! Perfect for my 8 and 6 year old. My oldest has seen it twice and cannot wait to watch it again. Love it!

Adam Sandler and Keri Russell are adorable in this fun family film - Bedtime Stories. There is nothing I found objectionable when watching with my 9 year old and 5 year old. However, my 5 year old lost interest in the DVD after about 20 minutes and quit watching. My 9 year old and I watched the entire thing. I'm glad I just rented it and didn't buy it because while it was cute and entertaining on a rainy afternoon - it wasn't a favorite movie that would hold up to watching again and again. The child actors were adorable but the plot line was kind of flimsy and mostly relied on Adam Sandler funny guy antics.

As the title refers, "Bedtime Stories" is just that -- A set of bedtime stories made up by a handyman employed at a hotel, who over the course of a week has to babysit his sister's two children while she looks for work out of town. During that week some pretty unexplainable things happen as each bedtime story goes from a nightly fairy tale to real life events...

If you're looking for a great family film with NOTHING offensive-no cursing, no sex, no racy themes, nor celebration of sin-then "Bedtime Stories" is for you! We went on New Year's Day. The theater was alive with laughter, and our entire family enjoyed it! Very creative story! The guinea pig "Bugsy" steals the show. As a Christian home schooling parent, I'm very careful about recommending films to others. This one gets an "A." Great for all ages!

Bedtime Stories is a movie that the whole family can enjoy. The movie is very imaginative and provides for a fun time. Adam Sandler is goofy as always and gives a good performance. Keri Russell is adorable and really does a good job. There is something for everyone in this film.

There were a few drawbacks to the movie, but nothing too bad. For one, Courtney Cox was definitely a miscast because her character was not funny. To me, this is a waste of talent because Cox is good at comedy. The only other thing I wish they would have done was to have been just a little bit more creative with the stories. In doing so, I think they could easily pull off a sequel. They could still do it now, but they would really need to do more with the stories. Regardless, I think we might see a Bedtime Stories 2 in the near future.

Overall, Bedtime stories is definitely worth checking out, especially if you have kids. If you don't, you will still find it enjoyable. ...

All the trailers and advertisements for Bedtime Stories seem to show the same things-making the movie seem like a comedy meant for kids that features Adam Sandler. Walking into the theatre, though, my friend and I saw people of all ages; there were families with children who looked to be about four or five, and we even saw a couple who looked like they could be our grandparents. Naturally, Adam Sandler's reputation as a comedian had brought all these people together, and with a mix of humor for all ages and humor that no one under the age of 10 would get, the entire audience seemed to enjoy the performance.

You meet Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler) as a young boy working in the hotel his father owns, making for a slow beginning that picks up fast once Adam Sandler actually takes over his roll of Skeeter, the hotel handy-man, and uncle to two kids, Bobbi and Patrick, who he's never met before. The title of the movie plays in when Skeeter is left to care for his sister's son and daughter...

Story:
