cotopaxi says "Best carrier for those new to back carries" about Beco Baby Carrier

This is a wonderful baby carrier that will last from the infant through toddler stages if you want to keep using it.

The best part of the carrier is how easy it is to use for back carries. I personally have tried many types of baby carriers and am comfortable putting my child on my back using a wide variety of methods. My husband, however, did not want to spend hours learning how to do it, so I wanted something easy for him to use. With the internal harness, you can put the baby into the carrier while he/she is lying on a flat surface, and then pretty much put it on like a backpack. My husband figured it out after about 10 minutes of practice.

With the baby on his back, he was able to go for walks, get his chores done, etc. without her being in the way like in a frontpack carrier, and she ws happier too because she could either peek out over his shoulder and see all the action or lay her head against his back and snooze.

The design of the carrier has excellent waist support so it...
...

polkadotstripes says "Great Carrier" about Beco Baby Carrier

Who would've known all the different carriers out there for babies and toddlers. When I was planning my family trip to Disneyland, I knew that I would need something that would help me carry my baby comfortably while waiting in long lines, and walking long distances. Thankfully, I had a friend who was a vendor for different carriers and I had the opportunity to try a bunch out before purchasing, which I would also recommend doing before purchasing a carrier yourself.

I liked the Beco because I could place the child both forward and backwards and on my back. I felt that it was very secure and would hold my child securely. I had good lumbar support and could walk a distance without discomfort. It was a bit tricky at first to get my child in and out. In fact, I had to ask my husband for help each time for the first few times. There is also a DVD that comes with the carrier that shows you exactly how to use the carrier. I know, it sounds overwhelming that you need to watch a...
...

shanvlasic says "The Beco is a babywearer's lifesaver!" about Beco Baby Carrier

The first time I tried a Beco was with my friends son 2 years ago. Now I have an 8 month old daughter that LOVES her Beco. I don't know how I ever made it with my first child without one... in fact, I can even carry him in my Beco on my back, and he is FIVE! My daughter has fit perfectly into the Beco from day one, and every time she gets upset- all I have to do is pop her in it and she is instantly content. It holds her close, makes her feel safe, and doesn't suffocate her. The headrest is low enough that she can see out and look around, and after I got used to the buckles, I could put her in and take her out all by myself. It is fantastic for quick shopping trips, long strolls through the zoo and yes, I can even BREASTFEED while she is in it!! The Beco has been my lifesaver, and although the pricetag is steep- I am so glad I splurged on this carrier. It has been worth EVERY SINGLE penny.
...

We've recieved the Beco Butterfly Baby Carrier at our baby shower and have been using it for 7 months now. I'm a petite 5'1'' and DH is 6'2'' and the Beco is great for both of us! My son loves being in this while at the grocery store, running errands, at the airport or going hiking! The padding on the shoulder straps and the good lumbar support make this very cuomfortable to wear. I always feel my baby is safe and secure in the Beco.
...

The Beco carrier is a must for getting things done around the house. Cooking, cleaning, etc...it's all so much easier when you have your little one right there with you. It is by far the most comfortable carrier I've tried. It's a little expensive, but well worth the investment. It's very handy for using while you're out and about. Grocery shopping, places without carts...it's awesome! Even walking if you don't want to drag the stroller out. It's great!
...

laurakristin72 says "This is the absolute best baby carrier there is!" about Beco Baby Carrier

The Beco is the best baby carrier that I have tried. And I have tried at least 10 kinds of carriers. I have had 2 back surgeries so I have to be very careful of my back and I can wear my baby (20 lbs right now) for up to 3 hours with no back pain at all. The reason for this is that this carrier distributes the baby's weight over the hips, shoulders, and back so that no one body part does all the work. I also like that this carrier is pretty, not just plain black or navy like so many. It comes in a variety of colors and patterns. Another advantage is that you can use this carrier from newborn to 45 lbs so you don't have to buy another carrier when your baby reaches 25 lbs like so many of the carriers out there. It does take a few days to figure out how to adjust the straps to get the best fit, but once you've done that it is very easy and quick to use....
