When my younger sister found out I was pregnant with my first child, she lent us her Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor. At first I was really anxious to give it a try because I was nervous that I would not hear anything. However, we decided there was nothing to lose, considering we did not have to pay anything. To our surprise, we could hear a faint heartbeat of our littlte one. Next, we tried out the headphones and as soon as we put on a CD of classical tunes, the headphones were kicked right off my belly. It was an amazing sight and feeling. We weren't sure if that meant our little one was kicking for joy or disliked the classical tunes but now att age two, she listens to all genres of music, including classical so i'm sure it was kicks of joy. The Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor is a really neat item that is worth a try if you are expecting your first child. It is something one could purchase and pass along to friends and family so that they too can enjoy this simple pleasure...

I purchased the Bebe sounds prenatal Monitor to listen to my baby in the womb. While I was able to hear the baby move around, I was disappointed when I never heard the heartbeat. Even up until I delivered I could never hear the heartbeat. But it came with a mic. to play music for baby.

I live a few miles from an interstate and I can even hear the sound of semi-tires with the windows shut. Even on a quiet night, it will pick up the slightest sound rooms away, but no baby sounds. This thing might be good if you're tryig to eves-drop on your neighbors, but as far as hearing your baby, forget it! I had trouble with holding it *silently* as well, as it amplified the creaks my hand made while trying to hold it still. I did have an older model I picked up at a thrift shoppe during my 1st pregnancy and it worked well, I could hear hiccups and the heartbeat.

I bought this and used it exactly as the instructions indicated. In a quite room, and during my 3rd trimester and it still didn't work! I will not recommend this to anybody.

My sister got the Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor when she was expecting her son. She could never get it to work even after several tries and reading the instructions repeatedly. I think she said she even took it to an expert. Then she gave it to me a few months later when I was expecting my son. We couldn't get it to work either. We never heard a think, just static and we are tech savvy. I hope others have had better luck.

THIS DOES NOT WORK! I FEEL BAD FOR THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PAID REAL PRICE FOR THIS THING. IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BUY IT AND HEAR MY CHILDRENS' HEARTBEATS. I used this during my pregnancy with my daughter. I tried it all the time and there was only one time when I thought I might have heard the heartbeat. That was only for a split second though. I was pretty disappointed that I spent money on this item....

Don't bother purchasing this product...It is useless! The Bebe Sounds prenatal Monitor shouldn't still be available for purchase....

I'm three months pregnant and not showing at all besides for what looks like a little beer belly or a little bump haha. So it didnt really feel real for me. My mom bought me bebe sounds and I opened it as soon as she handed to me and used it! I got excellent results right away and it was the most amazing thing ever!! I highly recommend this product!

Not worth it, I am currently pregnant the 2nd time, never worked with the 1st, pulled it out for this one dosent work with this one either, I know several other people who have used bebe sounds, and it didnt work for them either....

Like most mothers-to-be it is so hard to imagine there is actually a little baby growing in your uterus. I really enjoyed using my bebe prenatal baby monitor to listen to my babys heartbeat especially when I would wonder if everything was okay with the baby. This was particularly important to me before I could feel the babys movements and during the last half of my pregnancy when the baby wasn't as active as usual.

The sound quality was alot better than what I expected although it isn't quite as good as the heartbeat monitors OBGYNs use. I had to make sure I was in a quiet setting to the device wouldn't pick up on other sounds but overall I love the product and would recommend it to any mother-to-be.
