I love this product. I have very dark circles under my eyes and this product covers them wonderfully! I was so surprised when I first used it. I did not think that a powder alone could cover up my dark circles, but it did. I used a little primer, then dabbed the powder under my eyes. Great stuff. Works well as a concealer too.

Again,what can I say about BE products,except that I love them. This product does help make those tired looking eyes come alive and look like you have slept well,even when you haven't.The fact that their are no partificial anythings in these products make it all the more worthwhile in buying. Great for all skin types,complexions,and ages. No caking,no irritants to the yes to worry about. Its also great for day-evening time,alone or with makeup. So if you need to perk up those eyes especially during this busy holiday time,try this and watch for yourself what it can do.

Bare Escentuals Well Rested eye color is a nice product and it does seem to make my eye area seem a bit more 'awake' - but I just don't find myself reaching for this very often. It's one of those 'extra' type products I use when I have the extra time or am getting ready for a special event/night out on the town. I typically use a frosty eyeshadow for a base color anyway, so this is just essentially doubling up on that when I do use it. However, I do find that if I dust a bit of this under the outer corners of my eyes once my makeup if finished, it gives a nice, not overly done, glow to my eyes.

I use a eye primer from Paula Dorf everyday and it does pretty much everything I need (including brightening) so I guess that is probably why I don't reach for this everyday.

Well Rested is a pale, shimmery, bright iced yellow shade; coverage, as always w/ BE, is excellent and a little goes a looonnnggg way.

I love the idea of this make up. Swirl, tape, apply. The coverage for me was not very good at all. I settled into ever line on my face. Five minutes after I applied it my face starts to itch horribly.

Soon to be sixty and trying not to look it. I use Bare Escentuals every morning. It is almost fool proof to put it on. A little goes a long way and the more you buff your skin the better it looks. I really think as the day goes on the better your skin looks. The shades do not add to your skin color but actually picks up your natural skin tone and makes it more even and velvet looking. No lines under your chin that shows where you started and where you end and when you touch you skin it is smooth. Sometimes you have to make sure you have put on your make up since it blends so well. No one even knows you are wearing make up. I especially like to buff and buff. The more you buff the more natural you look. In hot sticky weather you don't have the feeling that you are melting like many other products make you feel.

Well, I normally adore all the Bare Minerals Bare Escentuals products, but this one is not catching my fancy at all. My eyes tend to look tired and sometimes an eye cream is not enough. So I thought the Bare Minerals Well Rested would help me look more rested and refreshed. It claimed that it would make the eyes look more open and energized.

In actuality, it is too cakey, too powdery, not enough glimmer in it. In order for the eyes to be more open, it has to be a little more mother of shell look -- like only slightly shimmery. It was not the case with this one. It is not a necessary part of Bare Minerals family, in my opinion. It kinda works under the eyes for deep dark circles but it looks unnatural, although covers them up, so you should use VERY LITTLE because it's so light colored. Do not use with other makeup, maybe it can work if you are using it strictly for the natural look.

I used this during my wedding, first time user who had always used Clinique, and was really amazed at what a good job it did.

Before using it I actually thought it was a bit of marketing hype. Instead, it was the real thing and I was so happy!

I think the other product that I liked, I wished that I wrote it down, was called Mineral Veil (or something like that).

I have really fair skin and this was great!

Quick View: Bare Escentuals Well Rested doesn't do enough for me. I have dark circles all the time and I always look tired (because I usually am). I liked the idea of a mineral product that made me look well rested. It does. But only for about 10 minutes. I know many people love this product but I don't.

About Bare Escentuals Well Rested

This loose powder comes in a small sifter jar. It's a lemony beige color and, apparently, it was made as an eyeshadow and women discovered that it worked well as an under eye refresher. This is NOT a concealer (although some use it as such). It is intended to lighten and brighten the eye area.

The product is made from all natural minerals and only a little is needed. As an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base, it's fine. It glides on nicely and looks bright on my lids. After I apply my usual concealer, I try to swirl a small concealer brush in Bare Escentuals Well Rested and then dot it under and around my eyes. It's quite light so it does brighten the area but almost......

Bare escentuals well rested is one of the best make up products on the market. I use it every day to cover those lovely dark circles under my eyes. It also works well as a base for your eyeshadow. Sometimes I don't even bother putting my eyeshadow on over the well rested and I just wear that alone....or with just some simple black eyeliner. I'm not sure how I ever lived without it!

I put it on with the maximum coverage concealer brush. I got both of mine from QVC.com. Very reasonable priced, I might add. Most of my bare escentuals products come from QVC.com. I use most everything Bare Escentuals these days. It's the only make up that doesn't make me look like I'm wearing make up. It's doesn't leave that wonderful make up line around my chin area. You know what I'm talking about, right?? It goes on so smooth and silky....you'd never know it was in a powder form. That's the great thing about it.

I love this product. It works great as an eyeshadow base or alone to "wake up" tired eyes. Make sure to apply well rested in the inside corners of eyes where darkness can make you look tired....

I do not wear makeup often as my husband likes the natural look more, and I hate the work needed just to apply make up. My girlfriend recommended this make up & now I will not use anything else. It is so easy to apply & when it is applied it feels so natural I forget I even have any make up on. It's also good for your skin, so if you forget to remove it & sleep with it on, it will not damage your skin. Its a little expensive at first, but in retrospect you use such a little amount of it that it lasts such a long time. I'm actually lucky enough that I do not have to use make up every day, so for me it really lasts a long time. Sometimes I just apply the foundation or the mineral veil just to give my skin a glow to it, or if I'm out in the sun because it has a sunscreen in it & I prefer this to sticky slimy sun blocks that burn when they run into your eyes. When I don't use the blushes my husband doesn't even realize I'm wearing make up & always comments on how nice I look......

I kept seeing it on TV and wanted it. My husband got it for me for Christmas. I love it. My husband even said "Wow, you look awesome!!!!!." I hope that wasn't "You looked horrible before." HA HA. I know what he meant. My husband is 6 years younger than me and I just like to look my best at all times. The Bare Escentuals Well Rested is one thing that I have never regreted buying off the TV. It is easy to put on and does not take a lot of time. I have longer hair and do a lot of different things to it and when it only takes me 45 minutes to get ready in the morning (including shower) that is awesome to me.

Even though it costs a little bit more than other products to me feeling good and confident about yourself is worth it to me.
