Let me first start by saying that I LOVE Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals products. I use their spf 15 foundation, faux tan (instead of warmth or glee) and the mineral veil every single day for the last 5 years. I was very excited to try the Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy kit, but I must say that I wasted my time and money on this one.

I do not have a great deal of acne, you can consider it either moderate or perhaps even slightly moderate, moderate light acne, but this products gave me acne and more pimples than I had gotten at my peek in middle school. Using this product certainly without a doubt increase the number and size of the pimples on my face and it made me look and feel terrible.

Based on the reviews on this site, it would seem that I am in the minority, but I caution you if you do not have above moderate acne, this may give you even more acne or pimples than you had bargained for.

I love Bare Escentuals, but this product is a huge disappointment!

I am a huge fan of makeup products, but always am a little hesitant to try new acne products because I really want them to work on my skin and not just cause more breakouts. This Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Blemish Therapy is really amazing because it really controls breakouts and is an amazing product. The blemish therapy is an everyday solution that works to control acne you have as well as prevent new blemishes from forming. The product goes on as a light powder that doesn't make a cakey mess because it looks natural and is absorbed quickly. It is concealing to your blemishes and works well to hide all of your flaws. I use this as soon as a I feel a blemish is coming and it works on target to prevent the problem from getting worse. This can be used all over your face and blends in well, or it can be used just on a certain blemish. This is a product that doesn't irritate my skin and I found it to be an acne solution at a bargain under $30.

It's a nourishing loose mineral powder with the powerful ingredient of sulfur which helps to lessen the bump and take down that awful redness and soreness as well. You apply this (over clean skin of course) with the small blush that is included, dotting it over any blemish or blackhead area on your face, neck, chest or even your back if necessary, it's really very easy to do.

The product is slightly tinted in a natural hue and helps hide the zit without a glob of cover-up like a liquid or cream would do. I was a bit sceptical as to whether BareEscentuals RareMinerals Blemish Therapy would actually work, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. I am already a fan of BareEscentuals makeup and I never use anything else. My skin is so much healthy since I began using this makeup, but I still have the occasional breakup and I hate the drugstore creams and treatments for acne. They all dry my skin out and benzol peroxide is the worst because it stains and ruins so many fabrics and clothes. So, I was excited when BareEscentuals came out with a more gentle form of acne treatment. Bare Minerals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy is the best thing to hit the acne market since.....well, nothing can compare!!

I have been searching and searching for an acne product that would actually work, especially for skin that is growing older. Most of the products in the skin care aisle are geared towards teenage and young adult skin. I could find nothing--absolutely nothing that would work for my skin.

I had tried the Bare Minerals foundations before and liked them well enough. My skin is so tempermental that I figured this new product wouldn't work either. But, being a desperate almost 30 something mother, I bought it. I was not happy with the price--$28 but like the original Bare Minerals products, it seems to last forever!!

This product comes in a little jar with it's own little applicator brush. After buying, I went straight home and washed my face. The directions state you can apply it to just the pimple itself or if you are like me and have breakouts all over, you can apply......

This product contains sulfur to treat acne and blemishes while preventing future breakouts. It penetrates pores to control blackheads while the translucent tint neutralizes and diffuses the look of blemishes. It can be used as an overnight spot treatment to heal blemishes and also as a daytime treatment under BareMinerals makeup or on it's own.

I bought this for $28 at Sephora for my daughter, who has just begun breaking out now and then. I didn't want the usual anti-acne products because her skin is super sensitive. I needed something gentle that at the same time could help cover up a blemish, since she doesn't wear makeup.

We both love that it came with the brush, which is a very nice quality brush. I bought her a pretty little makeup bag to keep both the jar and the brush in.

She's used this product about three times now and both of us are blown away by how effective it is. It doesn't irritate her skin. She doesn't experience any itching or redness while using the product. ......
