I am cheap, cheap, cheap! I pinch every penny. I will try to save money eveywhere I can. It all came from the fact that right out of college I was a social worker making pennies and trying to make ends meat. I do not wear anything else that is costly. I would never wear any other foundation again. All other types of makeup i have tried have not worked. I have bad skin problems and even the knock off mineral makeups do not compare to this product. It feels like you are not wearing makeup at all. there is not that grimey feeling when putting it on. I will say it wears off throughout the day and putting it on does get everywhere but it is well worth it. The mineral powder is so nice because it has no color so it can go with every season. The colors i switch throughout the season but this stays with all of them. If you have had problems with finding the right make up in the past you need to try this wonderful make up.

My mom has been using this makeup for years and has tried to get me to try it forever and a couple of years ago I caved....and I'm so glad I did! I have never been a real fan of makeup but I do use it fairly regularly (maybe 3-4 times a week) when I go somewhere (I'm a stay-at-home mom). I don't have perfect skin but it's not terrible. This makeup covers my problems really well and the Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil really finishes your look. When I first got the Mineral Veil I hesitated to use it because I was concerned that if I layered it over the Bare Minerals foundation makeup that it would feel thick or look caked on. However, to my surprise, it was neither. Now, even if I don't have time to put on the foundation, I try to at least put on the mineral veil. It helps keep my oil under control while giving my face a healthy glow that looks completely natural and not caked on. It is the perfect item for someone who is busy and likes the natural look when it comes to makeup....

I absolutely love this make-up! I've always had to wear my foundation but i struggle with the correct shade and it always looks caked on. Yuck! I tried Bare Essentials and i was truely amazed at how flawless my make-up appeared and i did'nt feel like i had any make-up on at all.

To the Point

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil was the last product in the kit that I bought at Sephora. Mine is not tinted or illuminated. It is the regular Mineral Veil. It is said to be a finishing powder for the face and that is an accurate term. I was going to say frosting on the cake but that didn't quite do; then I thought of something like a lacquer for your woodworking project.

I love Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. The company does not test on animals. It does not have parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petro-chemicals, or phthalates.

At about $19.00 for less than 1/2 an ounce it is expensive but as long as you don't spill the container you'll be alright. Like other products in the line the powder is under a lid with holes in it. I do lose some and just the other day my husband asked me what was all over the sink! I like to put some in the cap of the jar and use Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil from there.

I have purchased this product Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil from qvc and am not quite sure if I truly like it as a after make up coverage because somehow it seems to make me look even more fair almost like a ghost. I found out it works great as a primer however and setting concealers. Just recently bare Escentuals came out with tinted Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil and I may will give those tints a try. Right now however I must use up all what I have spend money on first and than I will try out some other products. Perhaps I could mix Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil with some of Bare Escentuals Mineral faux tan that I have, maybe that will give it a little more tint, I dont know how these two colors will work together, hopefully my skin wont turn orange, haha.

My daughter has used some of my Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil and she likes it a lot and it looks much better on her, different skin tone makes the difference.

Back in the day when I first started using Bare Escentuals face makeup, I got a container of mineral veil in my starter kit. At first glance, I was like "Ok, cool, I got a white powder!" I really had no idea what it was suppose to be used for, but after reading about it I finally learned the purpose of the mineral veil. Once I started using it, I fell in love with it. I put it on after i apply my foundation and blush and it blends it all out very nicely. It doesn't make me a shade lighter because the powder itself is very light. If you are using their foundation and blush I would definitely suggest this product to you. ;]

This is so easy to use. It makes your skin look cleaner without looking made-up. It also lasts a very long time, so it is not that expensive.

I have the whole set for this product and it is the best foundation i've ever had. I have very sensitive skin and I was very skeptical to try it, but after using it for a week I was pleasantly surprised to see that I wasn't breaking out. What tops off this set is the mineral veil, which is just the most innovative product. Sometimes when I want my skin to feel smooth I just use the mineral veil and my face feels great.

Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil is really an awesome product! I started using Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil a few weeks ago and although I am still in my learning curve with a new product I am very pleased with the results so far. It is so lightweight and natural looking, only way better than natural!, It seems to give my face a natural finished look without looking like my face is all made up with heavy, greasey, drippy looking make-up. It looks natural and with a slight healthy glow. It is easy to apply using the buki brush that you get with the "get started kit". I think the only problem that I seem to be having with it is that I tend to put on too much because I am so used to using regular make-up that requires a much heavier coat that the Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil does. Only a small amount of the Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil really deos the job. I find it a little expensive but not if you use it lightly and correctly.

I recently bought (and returned) a Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals kit from Ulta.com. I had heard great things about their make-up for a long time, so I finally succumbed and bought the kit when it was so reasonably priced ($15), I couldn't pass it up.

The kit included two different shades of Bare Minerals loose foundation, Mineral Veil and a mini kabuki brush. I disliked everything in the kit so much, I returned to Ulta.com for a refund.

Bare Escentuals claims that Mineral Veil is supposed to:

Give your face a translucent finishing touch over their loose powder foundation
Infuse your skin with softness and light
Give the beautiful illusion you receive with a soft-focus camera lens

I followed the directions on the Bare Minerals kit and did NOT get good results. I chalked it up to operator error and tried again several times just in case I was doing it wrong. Each and every time I applied the make-up, it created a shine and sheen to my face that was not appealing at all. ...
