Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush

How do I love thee oh Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki Brush, let me count the ways. I've been using Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation for a long time and I love it; the ONLY way to get perfect coverage and a soft natural look is to use this brush, hands down.

The bristles are packed full so it's not a skimpy,flimsy brush that barely applies anything at all. The softness it imparts on the skin is fabulous, it's like a velvety kiss as you buff on the foundation, I find it soothing if not relaxing. Of course, as with any makeup and it's tool, you control the coverage you want but this will apply it perfectly and seamlessly so it looks like your skin but so much better.

This is an excellent quality brush and doesn't have that funky harsh glue smell so many do. I've cleaned mine with a mild baby shampoo solution and left it standing to dry so the bristles keep their shape, it works like a charm every time.

When it comes to my overall makeup look, I want my colors (eyes, lips, cheeks) to pop when I'm going out, but I want my skin to look like I magically wake up with even tone, no blemishes, no red spots, etc. I do not want to look like I've covered my skin up as completely as possible, with spackle.

Now I understand that some people like that look - they want absolutely NO natural skin tone to show through. That's probably what the Full Coverage Kabuki is designed for, and in that, it succeeds. I just think that it leaves your skin looking rather... chalky.

I much prefer the Flawless Face Brush, which allows you to build your color as you choose. If you want a very heavy application, you just need to go over areas more thoroughly. This is useful because of course, like all ladies, I have areas of my face which I'd like to cover more than others.

Also notable: I have some psoriasis on my face. It doesn't cause discoloration for me, I am very lucky, but it does cause flaking

I started out with Bare Escentuals by joining their club and receiving the auto shipments. This was a good move on my part, because had I been piece-mealing it, which I often do, I might have skimped on the brushes.

Don't skimp on the brushes; I have learned, over time, that the right brush really does make all the difference in the world.

This kabuki brush certainly makes all the difference when applying the Bare Minerals foundation. It gives you just the right coverage without being harsh in any way. (You know what I'm talking about; some brushes are way too stiff!). It's also a quality brush that lasts for years and years if you take even halfway decent care of it.

You can buy brush cleaners, but I was instructed to clean my brushes by wiping them on baby wipes. Since I keep baby wipes on hand anyway, this is a simple solution for me and this brush that is at least four years old doesn't even remotely look it. So I guess it works!

am in love with this brush. It makes blending the makeup so easy! You can't even feel that you're wearing makeup after it's applied with this brush. It's very soft and I haven't lost any bristles in my two years of owning it. It's very easy to care and clean for, too!

This brus is an absolute necessity for anyone who wears mineral makeup. The brush is soft, luxiourous, and non-irritating. It is a little expensive, I suggest getting it in a bare escentuls starter kit. It is the only foundation brush I use. It has minimal shedding and provides flawless coverage....

I got this Kabuki brush as part of the Bare Escentuals makeup kit, and it is amazing. It has great coverage, and it FEELS really nice. I recommend that your purchase it as part of the kit. My acne has almost dissapeared with the use of Bare Minerals. This brush provides the best coveage when combined with the minerals and delivers an evening natural coat. I do wish the brushes felt a little softer to the face, but have not found a kabuki brush with this attribute that still provided coverage. This brush is expensive, I suggest getting a bare minerals starter kit from sephora, that way you can get a variety of brushes and make-up for less....

Excellent brush for excellent coverage. At first when I started using Bare Escentuals, I did not want to spend the extra money on the brushes, but I soon realized how much better the makeup looks with correct application. The brush is so soft and easy to use I couldn't help but purchase it first. A year later, minen is still in new condition and I absolutely love usingit everyday. It is also beneficial to buy the cleaner and clean the brushes every now and then because you don't want to continually using and not cleaning right?

i swirl, tap, and buff with this brush daily to apply my mineral powder. the bristles are soft, not rough and does a wonderful job with coverage creating a flawless look.

This is an amazing brush.I recommend it to everyone, it covers up my blemishes without looking caked on. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because you really need to keep this brush clean. If you don't clean it (at least once a week) the coverage it gives becomes a bit cakey feeling. Overall it's great though....
