http://www.viewpoints.com/Banquet-Salisbury-Steak-reviews Wed, 07 Oct 2009 19:30:25 GMT Latest reviews about Banquet Salisbury Steak http://www.viewpoints.com/Banquet-Salisbury-Steak-review-8f472 <p>I tried the <strong>Banquet Salisbury Steak</strong> meal and it was pretty good for something cheap to bring in to work.  Most frozen meals are highly processed to retain their flavor when reheated, but for some reason, I felt that the <strong>Banquet</strong> meal was a little more processed than the <em>Lean Cuisine</em> or <em>Healthy Choice </em>brands. </p> <p>For a cheaper option, the <strong>Banquet Salisbury Steak</strong> meal wasn't bad-tasting.  In terms of nutrition, the caloric intake from the <strong>Salisbury Steak</strong> meal was on par with other similar frozen dinners.  The Banquet meal was a bit high in sodium though, at <strong>1080mg</strong>--a little over twice the sodium in the <em>Healthy Choice</em> version.  You receive a portion of meat, potatoes, and corn with the dinner. </p> <p>For an inexpensive meal, I'd say <strong>Banquet</strong>meals are a bargain; but keeping nutrition in mind, I would recommend you pinch pennies elsewhere like walking more and use the savings in gas money to buy a  healthier meal.  Or, better yet, prepare your meals ahead of time and bring <em>that</em> food for lunch...</p>...
