We have multiple lines of credit when we moved out of state with BOA. The interest rates are high and the customer service is very poor. Seek another vendor for lines of credit....

I had a $24,000 credit limit with them with 2 different cards from Bank of America for 10 years. I have an excellent credit history with them and an excellent credit history, overall. But, just because of the economy, they recently forced me to get rid of one card completely that I had not used in about 7 years and diminished my credit line to only $1,900, and that's only because I am paying down that card card that still has a $1,800 debt. They said they believed I had sufficient credit overall and enough credit with them. The only good thing is that my credit rate is at a fixed rate of only 6.99%. I have never defaulted with them. They will lose my business in the future if they continue to diminish my credit line for what I believe to be foolish uncredited reasons. They claimed to be making these conservitive moves because of the economy.

ing. They offer a lot of good products as well and good prices and give you the opportunity to try it for 30 days and even usually give you some kind of gift to keep whether you keep the service or not. Have had no problems with them...

I used to use this card a lot to finance my online business until they raised the cash advance fee to 4 percent from 3 percent, and removed the cap which used to be 90 dollars (so... a 15,000 dollar cash advance used to cost me 90 dollars, and now costs 600 dollars). This is in spite of the fact that I have never missed a payment (or even been so much as 1 day late) after having the card for over a decade!

The real irony here is that the card's backer, Bank of America, was given billions of dollars in taxpayer money to fill the gap caused by their own poor money management. This money was given without strings attached (such as a 4 percent advance fee with no cap), and will be used to get a return for the bank.

In conclusion, I would not use this card for cash advances, or any other card that does not limit the amount of fees charged for this type of service. Credit cards are now only as good as the rewards offered, and this card's reward program is far inferior to other cards...

I moved over a holiday weekend and used my card for aproximately 10 purchases, all under $10.00 each. With every transacion I was charged a over the limit charge of $35.00! They just kept racking up charges! I refused to pay all charges, was willing to pay for the first two, they would not budge! To hell with them!...

Bank of America, out of the blue, restricted my access to my online account information. They also, with no warning, reduced my credit limit by several thousands of dollars, despite being a long-time customer who never had a late payment. As a result of Bank of America reducing my credit limit, my monthly minimum payment, increased tremendously. Despite months of paying way over my minimum monthly payment, my new credit limit left me with absolutely no cushion....

With all the bank bailouts which the American people are paying for, I believe consumers should have litte to no interest rates. Our country is in a crunch. We the people can no longer sustain bailouts, tart, or health reform. An example would be the cash for clunkers, it did not solve the problems. Our country is now at 10.2 unemployment rate, which shows how bad our economy is and will be for a long time. I am angry and would like to see Washington overhauled. There are to many chiefs and not enough Indians. We need to return to the basics. We need to live with in our means, save, and cut any credit cards we have. It is the governments fault that people are losing their homes. Even if youhave excellent credit it is impossible to get a credit card with a low limit so that you can shop on the internet and then pay the card in full each month.

I charge, yes indeed, but not over what I can pay off, and I think that's the best way to make a credit card work for YOU. I avoid fees, get points, and get to cash them in for some awesome NFL gear with my Bank of America NFL Extra Points Visa. The interest rate is reasonable for cards these days, not that I rack up many charges on that front.

My favorite part of the Bank of America cards is the online system for payments and account management. Everything is very simple and laid out so that I can easily manage everything. It makes me want to keep more accounts with Bank of America, because then I could have everything all in one convenient place. In time, though, in time.

I have had to call customer service once, for an interesting little glitch in the bill pay system. Not sure what happened there, but since I keep an eye on my accounts regularly, I caught it before it could interfere with paying my bill.
