I am an adult working a very menial job and was looking for an online school to help me finish getting my degree. I work full time and dont have a set schedule so going to a brick and mortar school was out of the question.I was going to my local community college online but they didnt take student loans or offer all my classes online. I went through many over the phone and web interviews and settled on Baker. I thought that Baker college would be a good fit because the credit hrs are only $190( cheap by online standards) and they were accredit. I was wrong Baker is not a good school, I did my homework as I am a serious student and did not want to waste my time, money or energy. The Interviewer lied to me and most of the staff are very lazy, it takes more then a week to get answers from them. Also the credit hours are $200 and each class is 4 credit hours. Which means that instead of needing 62 credit hours to complete your a.a.s you now need 96. That means you are spending $20000 for...

Baker College Online. Wow. I am tired just thinking about this school, but I feel it is necessary for me to post in order to warn others. I think it is better to spend your money elsewhere. I have nor problem with the intensity or the quantity of work for their online classes. When I first looked for information on this school there was not a lot out there to go on. I wish there was. It would have saved me a lot of grief.

But I didn't like that there was no interaction whatsoever between the professors and students when it came to discussion questions. There is no meaningful exchange of ideas, there is no way to know if you are on track until after everything has been graded.

Their administration is a joke - particularly financial aid. Beware if you are in the grad program that your first class is not covered by aid [it is not even considered a full class and yet it is mandatory] and they will send all monies back to the originator forcing you to carry a balance that...

I am sooo confused about several of the reviews that I have read about Baker college here because Baker is an excellent school to go to! ALL of my teachers have held at least a Master's degree and many even have higher degrees than that, so that complaint is totally unfounded. Baker College will take a great deal of studying and time if you plan on being successful in your class so if you want to earn a degree without putting any work into it then Baker will not work for you. The costs is affordable and their financial aid office and advisors are always very helpful. They were very helpful in the transition from my other college and even when I changed programs they did their best to accommodate me and my desires. I have NO complaints about Baker, I have had a wonderful experience. I will have my Bachelors this year and after that I am going into their Masters program. One more thing that is positive about Baker is that they have been incorporating advanced technology into their programs...

I graduated from Baker College Online, magna cum laude, with my BBA in September, 2008. I am currently enrolled in their MBA program, full time. I find this school to be a great way for a mother of three with an extremely busy life to get my education. I can do my work while I am sitting in the living room with my family, yet still be challenged to learn as much as possible. I find the assignments to be very informative and relevant to the information we are covering in class. I believe many students do not take advantage of tools (such as tutoring) available to them. Once they fail a class, they have to blame it on someone. They certainly won't take responsibility for their own failures. This is a great college. I have the Bachelors degree to prove it. Soon I will have a Master's degree to prove it too! ...

Baker online is a waste of time. Teachers at Baker don't need to have a master degree to teach and those that even have a master or higher do not even understand what they are teaching. You are required to post twice a day with "meaningful" post that can be loosely translated by any teacher. Along with them adding any policy they want without it being in the handbook or on any where on the Baker website. You can't even challenge the teaching without fear of reprocussion. If you disagree with the teacher on a certian topic or opinion, they will automatically start marking your grades down from A's to C's or even worse, to failing. You will always be wrong whether is you are actually right or not. The office staff never helps you or gets back to you in a timely fashion. Student aid will not help explain loans or tell you how much you need so you in the dark the whole time. The pure laziness Baker shows is upsetting and horrible. Do not waste your money here....

This place is very helpful it can get your grades up very easy. All you have to do is put out the effort to try and learn from them and you will be amazed. If you are struggling you can comehere to one of there tutors and get personal training one on one and help bring your low grades to a much higher expectaition....

I completed both my MBA and my BA at Baker online and found it very convenient while working full time and raising a family. I also found that I was more "tuned in" when on line than when taking my traditional classes as I could do it on my schedule. I would reccomend this way of learning to anyone....

Baker College Online is an college that offers courses and degrees online. You can complete the courses from anywhere where there is internet access. You can have your required books shipped to your address and you log in the Blackboard to access your courses and communicate with the professor and fellow classmates. Each course is broken into Seminars - each seminar represents one week in class. You have assignments for each seminar and you must post/interact with your classmates a minimum of five days a week in order to receive participation credit. Baker College Online really fits my schedule because I don't have to make time to drive to school and sit in class for hours a day. I can log on in the middle of the night if I want and post my assignments or post a commentary to others. The professors are professional and have work experience in their field. They respond to email usually within 12 hrs. and are very helpful. I recommend Baker College to others, especially professionals that......

Baker College online is a great way to complete your education. They provide substantial information and a great education. I have been attending Baker online and regular class settings for years now and wouldn't choose another college. The instructors really care about the success of their students. I thoroughly researched going back to school and which online college to select. I am forever grateful that I ran across Baker College.

They have many locations in Michigan and offer many degrees online. They are highly competitive on price compared to the more notorious online only schools.

I have been back in school for 2 years and I am still loving the experience with Baker.
