Oh, my baby just love these rice cookies. He is almost seven months old, but we started giving these to him at about 5 month. He loved them since day one. Right now he eats about 4 of them at the time. At first they would get just a little messy and sticky, but now he learned how to eat them, and sometimes I don't even find any crumbs. They are also are very nice for calming him down in the car. He dosn't usually take the pacifier, so these are great for distructing him when he is driving in the carseat. We always buy few packs of these at the time, because they go kind of fast, but every morning when I want to enjoy my cup of coffee, he just enjoying his cookie - Honestly, I don't know what I would do without these. Another thing that sometime keeps him occupied for few extra minutes is the packaging as its making noises when he plays with it. One recomendation: when your baby is just starting to eat different foods, please watch him/her very closely since...
...

When I was begining to introduce my son to solid foods, and items he could feed him self, my biggest fear was choking as any parent's would be. I was so afraid that he would just shove an entire cookie in his mouth and I would have to do the hemlich on him!! Baby Mum mums snacks however are COMPLETELY dissolveable. ( I know because I tried them first and they dissolved with in seconds of being in my mouth!) The long oval shape is easy for baby to grip, which encourages baby to feed himself. They dissolve quickly in baby's mouth so there is not a fear of choking, yet there are solid enough for baby to bite on and practice chewing. I have not seen a similar product on the market. The closest would be a teething biscuit, but those are more like cookies and MUCH slower to dissolve. When compared with teething biscuits, Baby MUM MUMS are much easier to clean as well. Because the dissolve so quickly in baby's mouth, there is not the mess from the pastey mush that you get...
...

lynnepowell says "Great for a first food!" about Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks

When my son was about 7 months old and just starting to eat solid foods, my girlfriend introduced me to Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks. Life was never the same! My son took to these like no other food I offered him. He really loved being able to feed himself, even though he was really too little to eat other snacks on his own. He liked both the original and vegetable flavors, and I had to buy them practically in bulk because he wanted them so often!

The only down-side is that they are not widely available. There were only two stores within 10 miles of my home that carried them, and within those stores they were often out of them. When I saw them, I'd pick up a lot of them. The fact that they are wrapped 2-to-a-pack was a bonus, because they lasted a long time on my shelf.

I was almost sad when my son moved on, but I'm looking forward to introducing them to my daughter in a few months. It really is a great first food.
...

Mamawanna says "Hot-Kid baby Mum-mums are Yum Yum" about Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks

The Hot Kid Baby Mum-Mum Vegetable snacks are terrific. The are great for on the go or for snack time at home. They are inexpensive, flavorful and best of all, non messy or gooey. They dissove easily and are heatlhy for my little one. The are easy to hold and chew. The Baby Mum-Mum satisfies that crunching, biting need for baby and is easy for him to hold. He will not choke on it or shove too much in his mouth at one time. They are well wrapped and easy to open. The two to the package make it nice to slip in my purse for a quick snack as necessary and the box has 24 snacks (12 individually wrapped packages). I wish I would have had something like this for my kids when they were little. It keeps him happy and healthy between meals. Best idea ever. I have only seen this is the vegetable flavor - what a great way to have kids enjoy their veggies! I would like to see these in a variety of flavors such as oatmeal, chicken, sweet potato, etc. Again, what a great idea....
...

cinnimini02 says "Awesome for teaching fine motor skills and self feeding" about Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks

I first started using Baby Mum Mums at my moms suggestion. She first told me to try using Cheerios, or Gerber brand puffs. Although my son (4-5 months when first starting on these) enjoyed these products, he couldn't pick them up himself because they were much too small for him. I ended up feeding them to him anyway, hoping he'd be able to figure it out soon, when my mom recommended Baby Mum Mums. I opted to use the rice (original) flavor, because I was afraid he might not like the vegetable flavor (which I still have not tried). He was immediately able to pick them up himself to self feed. I was amazed. The other bonus is that he absolutely LOVES eating them. I can't imagine that they taste all that great, they are probably very plain, but I think he enjoys how easy it is to feed himself. Baby Mum Mums dissolve easily, so you don't have to worry too much about them choking on the cookies, you can let them learn to self feed and enjoy that they are easy for them to eat.
...

AngelDavidson says "Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks are an affordable, convenient snack." about Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks

I first saw Baby Mum-Mum Rice Snacks in the baby section at Walmart. I thought they looked like something that my then-infant son would be able to eat by himself. He was about 6 months old at the time. My son really enjoyed them. I liked that they were individually packaged in several two-packs, so I could keep on packet in my diaper bag for a quick snack on the go. My son is almost three now, so I hadn't bought them again for awhile until about 6 months ago for my baby daughter. Unlike my son, she did not seem to like them at all. She'd nibble them a little and them throw them down. So I tasted them (of course I did, I'm a mom!) and thought, they are pretty bland. But what baby food isn't? So I guess it just depends on the baby. Like I said my son loved them, my daughter didn't. Overall, if your baby likes them, they are inexpensive, convenient and they dissoved easily so I didn't have to worry about my child choking.
...

I bought this after reading its nutrition facts and the contain. As her first, my little one loved it at first. It was the magic pill when she will decide to get fussy for apparently no reason at the mall, at the park or at a friend's house. She loved it for about 4 month and Out of nowhere she decided she wants to change... Her cousin came for a vacation and during the next 2 months he was the only consummer in the house, he all about Mum Mum. It was the magic word for him and my little one couldn't care less. Then he and his mom were back to san francisco. Magically my little one started asking again out of nowhere. Mum Mum Mum Mum... This just makes me laugh when I think about it. It was like she wouldn't eat it if somebody else is eating it.

Anyway, I would recommend it to anybody coz they are good and kids love them. Plus it is not an over processed food and is wheat gluten free and ti is not expensive and there is no mess after they are done at least not much. We moms dream of...
...

This was our daughter's first snack. After introduction to rice cereal and baby food, she was about 5-6 months old. When you are out at the mall with the baby in the stroller, and they are whiny, what do you give them. Parents are always nervous about all of the snacks out there and choking. We were out at the store and our friends who have older babies introduces us to these. Our daughter loved them and it kept her quiet for some time. She was able to hold it. Also, it almost melted in her mouth, like rice krispies do. They do not even make a mess. The only store we could get them at was Walmart. They are super affordable and we would buy boxes at a time. She continued to eat them for quite some time. We like how they were packaged in two, as she would eat both of them and not waste any. The perfect serving size. They are not too sweet either, so parents do not have to feel guilty. All of our other friends have started their babies with these per our recommendations....
...

I discovered these in the health food area of the grocery. I was looking for something other than the biter busquits because they are a MESS. These little rice cookies are a perfect distraction when going to the store or a long car ride. It's wonderful that they disolve for the kids that have less teeth. Be warned though that if a wet peice falls on the floor, it's a bit like trying to remove concrete that has already dried on! Just be sure to pick up slobbery bits before they harden to rocks.

One the best things about the crackers are they aren't filling or full of sugar. Easy to give any time of the day. They are a little pricey considering they feel like air but totally worth it.
...

I decided to try these because my daughter was doing so well with Gerber Puffs at 6 months, and these seemed to be healthier than the puffs. So I bought a box of the regular Rice rusks and my daughter loved them! Even though at first I was scared to give them to her because they seemed to be too hard but she did not have any problem with them and even with no teeth she does great with them. They do dissolve in the mouth pretty quickly and are just like the Gerber Puffs.
...

Yeah I have a baby cousin who eats these Baby MUM-MUM Rice Snacks and he really likes them. It is so cute to watch him eat it because he so little and adorable. Since it's one of those crackers that dissolves in your mouth it kinda gets disgusting after a while because he had all these blotches of crackers bits all over his mouth and hands and sometimes it will get in his hair. But he's just a baby so you can't really expect him to be neat and proper. The crackers are such a great idea and really helps the babies with grip and how to eat . I would definitely recommend the crackers to anyone who asks about it. Just make sure when you're taking pictures of them, it's before the crackers start to dissolve in their hands. Cause it does make an adorable picture. It's also very easy because all you really have to do is give it to them and they can handle the rest. There's not much work involved which is something that any parent would want when it comes to feeding their children.
...

At first I wasn't sure about them because their not name brand and they have added sugar but one day the store didnt have my usually brand so I decided to give them a try and i'm glad I did. They are light and crispy. They melt easy so you dont have to worry about baby chocking, Their easy for baby to hold on their own, my son likes one in each hand! They price is great you great twice as many for half the price of other brands. They also come in a few different flavors so your baby can have a variety. Great!!
...
