Personally, I was mildly excited about Disney buying the Baby
Einstien company. They had more resources to develop more
products and bring them to market, perhaps faster. A
Family-oriented entertainment company buying an infant-oriented
entertainment company. It made sense.

Unfortunately, they have effectively killed Baby Einstein.
Instead of a video of "real world objects" they have gone
computer-generated. Ok, the intro is classic Baby Einstein
stuff, but that's where it ends. It is not recognizable as a
Baby Einstein DVD after the intro.

Get Baby Mozart & Baby Bach for your very young infant. They
will love it and you have a built-in 20 minute baby sitter so
you can eat dinner. Both of my twins LOVE these.

Add Baby Shakespeare, Baby Santa and the Baby Doolittles when
your baby reaches 6 to 10 months. I used-to consider the Baby
Einstein tape the dog of the bunch, but that distinction is
now reserved for Baby Newton.

the first time i ever heard about baby einstien was on youtube, i was wondering what would be a good developmental groth video for my four month old. so thier it was BABY EINSTIEN! huh to think that this was going to be nothing like i thought i brought my 4 mth old to the computer and as soon as she seen the screen she couldnt lay her eyes off of it. i was like oh my god... i cant believe that my four month old is really watching this. tho that is what the movie is made for i just couldnt believe my eyes, she really loves this video. is it the colors,movement or even the sound effect. i dont kno. my daughter isnt the only baby who loves this but one time i was babysitting her cousin which they are one month apart. so that make her 5 mths she enjoys this video to. i was thinking to myself that i have to get this baby einstien one dvd it so great and baby actually loves it the only promblem i have is are thier dvds to this? AND WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THEM

The baby einstein baby newton movie is excellent, it captures young minds! But I hope parents realize it's important to limit tv time of any kind. It's a proven fact that kids that watch less tv are smarter than those that do, even if they are limited to educational movies and programs. Interacting with mom and dad is much better for children than tv.

The entire Baby Einstein collection has been viewed in our house since my son's birth, until now just before his third birthday! He loves Baby Newton, which has a bit of a different feel from the rest of the collection. It is a creative intridcution to shapes. Love it! And more inmprotantly my son adores it....

I love Baby Newton.. all of these baby Einstein DVD's are a great way to interact with your baby.. it is sooo fun to sit and help your baby learn together! My son is 2, and still enjoys watching these movies. He loves to identify the objects, and is entertained by the colors and music!...

I loved the baby eintstien movies,especially this one. They captured my baby's attention immediatly, and kept her giggling and smiling the whole time. I would recommend this to all mom's. It's a very entertaining and happy way for your baby to learn colors, and shapes. The characters are perfect for a baby to instantly like. ...

My almost four year old still finds this her favortie Einstein and requests it almost daily. She sings along to the video and recognizes all the shapes. I would recommend this to anyone. It is relaxing too....

my son loves these videos.he loves to dance along to the music, and has taught him alot of stuff like shaps and colors and animals.and he's always wanting to watch baby einstein videos it seems to keep him calm and entertained at the same time !and no matter what hes doing if i pop in the video .he stops whatever hes doing and sits down to watch them.i think they are defininatly worth the money. and help develope the brain at young ages! so i highly recommend these videos for everyone . they are very good for baby shower gifts or just a gift in general !...

My kids love the Baby Einstein products. My 5 year old non-verbal daughter especially. She asks in her own way to watch them on a daily basis. I like them because she has learned more from the dvd's than from the therapy that she receives. They are perfect for normally developing children also....

My daughter has loved this video since she was about one. She loves to dance along to the music, and it really has taught her her shapes. She can point out and say square, circle, and triangle all because of this video and all by 18 months. I know there are critics of the videos because of the tv factor, but I have no doubt in my mind they have made my daughter smarter. She is way more talkative and generally smarter than other kids we know of the same age, and a large portion of that is due to the videos....

This movie was great for reinforcing teaching my son his shapes and colors. He absolutely loved the part where the lion used the fan to blow off the brown glitter for the triangle! The music is easy to listen to and it has a catchy song for the shapes....

Baby Newton is a fun and interactive way for your baby to learn about shapes. The puppets are fun and engaging. The music is also very enjoyable. Baby Newton has been my boys favorite video for a long time. They stop what they are doing when it's on. They also knew their shapes very early on! I highly recommend this video and all the other Baby Einstein videos!...
