When I became pregnant three years ago with my son, I was lost and didn't know where to turn for answers to my questions and fears. I did some searches and more times than not the searches brought my to Babycenter.com. I checked it out and I have been hooked since then. I joined a Birth Club for my sons birth month. I could talk with woman who had the same concerns that I did. We were able to help each other through all the trials that come with pregnancy. After the birth of my son, I stopped working and my husband was in law school, so we were we desperate to save money. What do you know, there was a Bargain Board on Babycenter as well. I was thrilled. I met so many wonder ladies on that site. And now two years later I am still reading that site. I have made so many friends and I have saved my family tons. Because of the skills of couponing I learned on Babycenter, I had 10 1/2 months worth of diapers stocked up for my daughter when she was born. I also belong to a Board for my religion....
...

LoveisJoy says "BabyCenter is Great for Grandparents Too" about Baby Center

I know it sounds counterintuitive for a grandmother to find the need to check out a parenting website, but trust me it does make sense. Like most grandmothers, I often have pearls of child rearing wisdom to impart on my daughter, based on my own experiences in raising her. However, there are times when grandma simply doesn't know best nor does she have any idea what to do about a situation.

Believe it or not, my own daughter never had a single temper tantrum as a toddler, so it was never an issue for me. Aside from suggesting a visit from the "Supernanny," I had no idea what would work best for the "tantrum phase" my grandson briefly went through when he hit the terrible twos last year. Luckily, the good folks at BabyCenter.com have created an enormous library of articles, with a wide-ranging community of parents and professionals to create one of the best parenting resources on the Web.

Baby Center.com has it all - from pregnancy to birth, to infancy, preschool, and beyond - this...
...

This site is very informative and easy to navigate through. I recommend subscribing to the "My Baby This Week" feature which are personalized weekly emails sent to you based on the age of your child. The emails include subjects such as what to expect regarding social, cognitive and physical milestones. Definitely bookmark this site.
...

bethanynbailey says "Great information from professionals and everyday moms" about Baby Center

I am so glad that I found Babycenter, it was very helpful to me while I was pregnant and is still helpful to me now that I have had my LO. I am part of the birthclub for the month and year my daughter was born and we have become friends and supporters to one another. It is nice to be able to go online and talk to someone who can relate with me on exactly whats going on with myself or my daughter. The website itself is also very helpful by giving tips and advice and letting me know what exspect at certain stages. Not only am I able to go on and talk to everyday moms like myself but their are several professionals that can be found on the site in a number of specialties who are willing to discuss and help me with anything they can....

liz0311 says "Best parenting site out there" about Baby Center

mhew's review is incredibly thorough and accurate. BabyCenter is by far the most comprehensive, extensive parenting website and community I have come across--and I joined or browsed dozens while I was pregnant and after having my son. I receive the weekly email updates, and frequently follow the links to articles on the website. BabyCenter is my first resource when I want information related to parenting and babies.

The bulletin board section of BabyCenter is perhaps my favorite feature. BabyCenter offers hundreds of boards based on topics ranging from parenting styles to age-specific development, as well as "birth club" boards for parents of babies born each month. The board hosts are wonderful at encouraging healthy, respectful discussions, and are chosen partially for their knowledge of a board's specific topic (such as "Development: 3 to 6 months", "Homemade baby food", or "Attachment Parenting"). The boards are a wonderful place for both new and experienced parents to share......

mhew says "When I have a parenting question, I go here!" about Baby Center

Where do I begin? I have been a member of BabyCenter since I was pregnant with my first child. I love this site because it has so much parenting information and articles I can refer to. It seems that I could find the answer to every parenting question I had on this site. Even if I typed my question in a search engine, BabyCenter always seems to be among the first sites to pop up with the answers I needed.

You can either join the website as a member (free), or browse it as a guest. I joined because I liked having the personalized features. You enter each of your children and their birthdates and BabyCenter will automatically keep track of their age and stage. You can even have an "ages and stages" email sent to your inbox as your child grows. I have been receiving these growth and development emails since I was pregnant with my first. During that time, they were weekly emails with detailed information on how your unborn child is growing and things you can expect at that...
...
