We recently moved into a new neighborhood and as soon as things were unpacked a friendly lady came knocking on my door and introduced me to Avon. She dropped off a book and invited me to purchase something by offering to give me a 20% discount on my first order.

The book happened to have the Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara on sale for really cheap (cheaper than I normally get at the store) so I ordered the mascara. The order was delivered to my door a few days later and of course, I had to rip open the package and try it out as soon as I got my hot little hands on it.

I was pleasantly surprised because the Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara dries quickly (so when I sneeze after application, it's not all over my face instead of my eyelashes!) and it doesn't make my eyes all itchy. Many different brands of mascara make my eyes itchy for the first 20 or so minutes. I am thrilled that this brand does not make my eyes itchy.

This is truly one of the best mascaras. I purchased this about 4 months ago with plenty left. It washes off so easily. And goes on without flaking. What I like best is that it covers my lashes with one application. I don't have to keep going over my lashes. Which is great because that saves alot of time. I really recommend this mascara.

I liked this Avon Washable Waterproof mascara but I didn't love it. It did what it claims but so do others that are readily available in drugstores. There are lots of mascaras that I prefer to this so I wouldn't repurchase it.

I used the Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara on the day I got married. I knew that I would be shedding some tears of joy that day, so I needed a waterproof mascara that didn't break my bank and didn't rip out my eyelashes when I washed it off. I had used Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara in the past when my mama had purchased it in bulk and gave me some to try. There was no question that this would be my mascara of choice on the best day of my life. Moreover, my husband and I went on our honeymoon to the paradise of Hawaii! I am not one to go anywhere without my mascara regardless of the occassion. Knowing I would be swimming on a daily basis, I didn't hesitate to stock up on my Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara while packing for our trip. I it everyday and despite my time in the water, the mascara stayed on and didn't run into my eyes causing immense burning. I still looked great even after being at the beach all day. I recently ordered Avon's Washable Waterproof Mascara in Black and I am so thrilled with this purchase- It' makes my lashes longer and thicker with first application- which is important to me as I wear prescription glasses all the time- 24/7 I mean I LOVE this mascara, it's the best I've tried in decades, no kidding, decades! It stays on all day into the night just like it was freshly put on and I put it on in the morning and don't go to bed until the early hours of the next morning and it doesn't do any of the typicalsmudging or flaking off into my skin, I really wish I would have known sooner and that I ordered more tubes of this mascara to have on hand. Avon has always had quality products and this one is one of their best ever- I would highly recommend giving this mascara a try if you'd like longer, thicker lashes that last throughout your day & nighttime schedule- and yes it does easily wash off, doesn't get all clumpy to where you need a makeup remover or cold cream etc.. to...

I am a very active person, so I most often wear waterproof mascara. I bought three small size tubes of Avon washable waterproof mascara on Ebay.

I was amazed by how well it stayed on. I am on crutches right now, and it was a very hot day--about 90 degrees. So I had some rivulets of sweat pouring down my face. The mascara didn't budge.

The blue mascara looks particularly good on me--I am somewhat fair and have green eyes. It doesn't look overwhelmingly blue, though. It's just very flattering.

My only complaint: if you are looking for extensive lengthening of your lashes, you won't find it here. It does thicken them and maybe lengthen a little...but regular mascaras work much better for this.

You don't need makeup remover to take it off either, just soap and water.

And the price is right--only $6.50 for a full tube. (And it's on sale this month, two for $7.99.)

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Avon is offering the blue shade any longer, just black and brown.

I have bought every (almost) waterproof mascara available and NOTHING comes close to this product. I love it and have used it for 20+ years since my mother first bought it for me when I was finally able to wear make-up. It is the best. Does not smear, only flaking is very late at night (probably after 14 hours of having it on and probably rubbed my tired eyes at some point here) I swim with this and usually lasts forever. Tears will NOT affect this unless you have cried the entire day! I love new products so I tend to buy all the time only to be disappointed. I have spent way more to try some new kind (just did last week because a celebrity endorsed it) only to find I would rather have my $2.99 avon mascara!!!! It really does beat the rest. I remover it easily with the make-up remover lotion that Avon sells and it comes off easily without rubbing, is not greasy and never hurts my eyes. I have also used several other removers and many burn, pull out my lashes and leave my eyes irritated...

Avon Washable Waterproof Mascara isn't my favorite mascara by any means. It doesn't really enhance my eyelashes at all, and it doesn't "wash off." It requires quite a bit of makeup remover, and then it clumps to your lashes. I usually end up pulling some eyelashes out when I'm trying to get this stuff off. It's just not worth it!...

I sold avon for 12 years and only quit because i spent too much money! I love avon's products and the wash off waterproof mascara is one of the best. superior coverage, length and volume and it really washes off. you don't need paint thinner to remove it. I have used several popular brands recently trying to find something and nothing compares to avon! they all clump up or it takes too much scrubbing to get it off. i;m going back to avon and this is one thing i will only buy from them from now on. ...

I don't like to wear Mascara very often. This is a wonderful product. It does not flake or come off easily. It makes my lashes long and beautiful and fuller.It is easy to put on and easy to take off as well. I am very pleased with this mascara and do recommend it to all....

This is truly the best mascara I have found so far! I love the brush too. It doesn't clump at all. The formula glides on almost like a gel, but spreads evenly and it's not too heavy. It feels cool when applied then dries to the perfect texture. It never feels sticky so my eyelashes don't stick together. I hate that!...

I love this mascara. It is the only mascara I have used for years now. I have tried other things when I ran out but I end up going without until I can get my favorite stuff back. It is Avons Washable Waterproof Mascara. It holds its form very well. I first bought it because it was on sale and I needed new mascara. It was a bargan so I didnt think it would be much but it was all I could afford. It was $.99 from a neighbor of mine. I tried it and never went back. It will wash off with water and any soap. It will smear if you get it very wet and then rub it but other than that it stays put. I have tried other waterproof mascaras in the past that didnt wash off well and made a few lashes fall out.

It has been a while since I purchaced the product for $.99. We are able to afford a little more but I still go back to this product. I just purchaced it online for $1.99 on sale - normaly around $6 I think. They have sales often around $3 each. Definately worth a try!...
