I'm sold on Avon's Mineral Makeup! I am relatively new to mineral makeup, but have tried a few brands, like Minerals by Edan, and found them to apply in a thick layer on my face. I searched mineral make-ups on Amazon, with a definite budget, and found that Avon makes Mineral Make-up and it was only $11.00. I've seen it on sale since then for even less. Since my purchase, about a month ago, I have worn it every day, and still have most of the jar left to use. It's incredible how little it takes to cover my face and I think it gives me a kind of glow that I don't see when I use liquid make-up, or even the other brands of mineral makeup that I tried in the past. I think it would be nice if Avon would include an application brush, but I can see how that would make it more costly. I know I speak for many women when I say that I have used Avon for many years and know I can trust their products to be good quality. That is certainly true for Avon's Mineral Makeup.

I tried this item because I thought I mite be like the bare minerals makeup. I did not like the Avon mineral makeup at all. I did not think it blended very well. The Avon mineral makeup made my face pasty and made it look like I was wearing rubber. I usually prefer some of Avons products compaird to products you find in the store but this is horrable. I hope the bare minerals is not as bad. I will stick to regular cover up and powder. And I thought the price was horrable for the size you get.

Avon mineral makeup foundation provides very good coverage for the price. I can't tell you how many "mineral make-ups" that are out there that are just glorified powders. I have blotchy skin with red patches from years of acne and skin abuse. I need excellent coverage that won't make me look like I'm wearing a pound of make up. It is usually hard to find a mineral make up that can do the job. Avon is up to the task. It's not the best make-up I've used but for the price it is very good. One of the down falls is it is so hard to order cosmetics online. I didn't have a catalog so I just tried to order from the color chart online. I ended up getting a shade too light which made me look like Elvira. The good thing about Avon is they make returns easy and they back thier product. I typically buy pricier product but from time to time I like to save a few bucks and get something cheaper. My only suggestion is to ask your Avon rep for a hard copy catalog so you can get a better idea of the colors....

I have a friend who started using mineral make-up and said she loved it. But I think she was getting it from QVC or some other TV selling site. When so told me how much it was I thought oh well that is not for me.

Then my trusty Avon rep showed me what Avon has. I decided to order it.

Wow surprised by the coverage and how little you actually need to get good coverage. I also like that you don't need to get make-up on your fingers. When I seen the little pot of make-up I thought this is not going to last long but like I said before a little goes a long ways. I think it has lasted longer than a tube would.

Easy application and great coverage I am happy.

When I first saw AVON mineral make up I thought it was a scam...too expensive and too unreal. I thought it was a knock off of some higher quality brand. That is far from true!!! First off, if you know someone personally as a sales person for AVON, or if you know someone who is a customer of a seller, most likely you will get a huge discount. I got blush, foundation, and two eyeshadows for 27.00!!! That is unheard of!!!! Most mineral makeup, especially ordered online, is at least 50.00 for a set. This makeup stays on and really enhances your beauty. You don't need a lot to behin with so it flatters you, not hiding you. It is gorgeous and light, you can't even feel it! My favorite is the blush! You know how actors and actresses look on TV with perfectly colored cheeks and flawless skin....well I feel LIke I look like that after I put on Avon:) It's amazing and well worth an investment....

Very easy to apply, full coverage makeup that leaves your face fresh looking. I hesitated to try it because I had previously used Sheer Cover (from the TV informercial) and didn't care for it. Avon's mineral makeup gives a much nicer, fresher look.

The other thing I like is that there is absolutely no masky look, it is so even and it brushes up so nice from the neckline. Caution, a little goes a long way, you don't need to use much.

Avon has a lot of colors to choose from, and they do give a guarantee, so if you didn't like the color you chose, you could exchange it. I found that the color I normally wear in Avon in the liquid, was a bit darker in the mineral makeup, so I exchanged it for a lighter shade and it was just right.

The price is right too, when it's on sale, it is less than ANY mineral makeup I have seen anywhere, and when it is not on sale, it's still less than most.
