I was not impressed with Avon Magix Primer. I bought the colorless version. I felt that it did little of the things it claimed it would. My skin did not seem smoother, more even toned, or "glowy" in any way. I felt that the product had a consistency similar to toothpaste and felt thick sitting on top of my skin. When I rubbed my face the surface felt grainy and oily. In my opinion it left my face looking shiny- not glowy.

It smells strongly of sunscreen which may bother some, but it wasn't a huge problem for me. It did make my eyes water pretty badly if it got anywhere near the eye area. I used it for about three days then switched to a product made by Rimmel London called Fix & Perfect. It worked beautifully and I just love it.

I felt that at around $10, Avon Magix was not a good purchase and I will not buy it again. It comes in a tinted version, and also as a pressed powder. If the consistency of the tinted one is the same as the transparent (which it most likely is) I won't be trying...

I LOVE the Avon MagiX face perfector with SPF 20. I am blonde and fair with freckles, so protecting my skin from sun damage is a big priority to me. This product not only offers the SPF protection, but it also minimizes the appearance of pores and makes my face really soft to the touch in the process! I have tried so many products trying to make the pores on my face less visible and this is the first one that actually accomplishes this without feeling like I have oily, cakey gunk on my face. The Avon MagiX face perfector with SPF 20 actually feels light and soft. Avon has recently come out with a tinted version of this as well and I plan on trying the "fair" colored one. I use this product so often that I have actually considered becoming an Avon salesperson just so I can get it at a discount. I use Skin Ceuticals cleansing facial products (which are VERY expensive) so it was really nice to find a product that I love that doesn't break the bank!

I live in hot humid weather and tend to look shiny! With the Magix face perfecter primer I no longer look shiny and my makeup stays put all day! Nice thing is its only $10 and it works better than the primer from Sephora I used to buy for $45. Love it!

Regardless of whether you wear full on make up of just sunscreen this product is for you. Avon magix face perfector has spf in it so it offers the benefits of sunscreen as well as making your skin look smooth and perfect. It feels like silk when you put it on, absorbs into your skin and makes any pores or imperfections almost disappear. You can wear it alone or under foundation and make up so it's perfect for everyday use. I would recomend magix face perfector to anyone who wants their skin to look amazing without taking tons of time to get ready.

I recently discovered this product called Magix from Avon. I sell Avon and decided to try this product.

I have large pores, somewhat damaged skin from pimples in early life, and oily T zone as the day wears on.

After I wash my face in the morning I apply my moisturizer, then the Magix, then foundation.

This product keeps my face oil free and gives me a nice matte finish. It never fells heavy or like I have over applied a foundation. I am very please to say that this product never breaks my face out. So many products do!

I have many clients who I have given samples of Magix to and they all order this and like it as much as I do. I never go a day without it.

This product comes in untinted and tinted versions. Personally I prefer the untinted version.

I would recommed this to andyone looking for the features I have described here.

This Magix can be ordered throught Avon for around $10.00 a tube and will last me about 2 months (using it every day). I t is great to stock up when it goes...

Avon MagiX Face Perfector SPF 20

As I'm of combination skin (oily T-zone) I'm always looking for a product to help my makeup application last. Well, I was given this as a sample, tried it out and fell in love with the look and feel of my skin.

It matted down the oily areas, made my pores appear to fade away and smoothed my skin all over. Voila ! just what I was looking for. This comes out of the tube as a milky looking gel-like cream, it's got silicone in it so the smoothing properties are wonderful. when applying it you'll feel it go from a liquid to kind of a nice soft powdery feel.

There is no pigment /color to this product so don't expect it to cover any flaws (such as blemishes) as a concealer would. It simply preps and perfects you skin for further makeup application if you so want, as it can be worn alone as well.

You'll find your foundation, concealer or powder will go on smoother and more evenly as it makes a better canvas to build on. I find It helps these products to last...

majic x skin lotion goes on before your makeup and makes your skin feel silky smooth. only use alittle bit of it and it covers the fine lines on your face. The best stuff I have come across with avon .

A friend of mine introduced me to this product (Avon Magix Foundation) over the winter. I have occasional acne breakouts but it usually stems from wearing "heavy" makeup. My skin is oily and tends to not react well to liquid foundation.

I was a little skeptical at first because i figured it was going to be too light of coverage for me. Surprise, Surprise! It's an awesome product!

The foundation covers really well, even the little bit of red tint to my cheeks, which has always been a bit of trouble to cover. It smooths out my skin tone and makes it look flawless. The shades availble cover a ton of different skin tones. And the SPF 20 is the perfect addition to make it the smart choice in skin care. It stays on all day. Never runs. It's the great summer foundation and a great choice for traveling since it works so well you rarely need concealer. It's definately my favorite foundation. I would absolutely recommend it to a friend.

WOW! This stuff is fabulous! I don’t normally use Avon products, but have recently been on a mission to find a decent primer when I came across this product. I bought it at full price because I ordered a couple of other items that were on sale and I got free shipping so I thought “What the heck, I’ll give it a try.” I am soooooo glad I did. Now, I’ve only used it for two days, so if my opinion changes in the future, I’ll be sure to let you know. i deal with oily skin, especially in the t-zone. I’ve tried so many different primers and many of them work great with providing a smooth surface for foundation and blurring fine lines, however, I’ve never had any of them work on preventing oil buildup like this! Even though I use very little foundation, I still find myself having to use oil blotting papers several times throughout the day – sometimes just a few minutes after finishing my makeup application in the morning. I was absolutely stunned when I did oil checks throughout...

I got because I'm constantly tried to find a better cream to use under foundation and I really liked what this one did to my skin EXEPT around my nose where my skin is dry. It made my foundation crack up completely and it looked horrible! I tried using it alone and the same thing happened. So I do use it but I have to use a different cream in that area. I love Avon products but this is one I don't think I'll be buying again. I do recommend it if your skin isn't dry like mine, I think it would work well with oily skin.

I tend to have oily skin and my face gets that shiny appearance to it. I saw MagiX Face Perfector in the AVON brochure and decided to try it. I absolutely love this product. I put it on in the morning and it keeps my face from getting the oily shiny appearance throughout the day. It also comes in a variety of tints now which is great because this also helps cover blemishes. I use the regular MagiX everyday under my foundation. It's like a liquid that turns powdery when you apply it. It's great in the summer for the hot sunny days. My foundation seems to last longer through the day when I wear MagiX. I have used AVON products for a few years now, some I like and some I do not. This is a product I would recommed to my friends. It gives you the perfect finish when you apply your makeup. I usually buy it when it is on sale but compared to department store brands this is a bargain. I give it a thumbs up!

I've tried basically EVERY beauty product that claimed to keep shine at bay. Cleansers, light lotions, etc etc etc.. You name it! As I was perusing through my Mom's friend Avon catalog (he friend sells Avon prods.).. I came across Avon Magix Face Perfector SPF 20... It was on sale for $7.. So, I decided to give it a try. Got the prod. a week later, & it's been AMAZING! I use it right before applying anything else to my face. First, I dab this on lightly all over my face, then use a mattifying mousse foundation, and finishing loose powder. My skin looks FLAWLESS after this! When I use Magix by itself, my pores look almost invisible, my skin feels like silk, and even though it does not cover up some old acne spots ( I wasn't expecting it to, since it only minimizes pores, protects against the sun, control oil, and soften skin*), it does do a good job at making my complexion look healthier, smoother, and all in all, MUCH better! It claims it controls shine for up to 10 hrs.. Well, with me...

WOW! .. so here's the deal .. as a black woman I tend to have oily skin .. I put my foundation on (MAC NW50) at 8 am and by 8.20 am I'm shiny, as if I've just come out of a vat of oil :(( .. so I'm blotting all damn day! So having read soooo many reviews for the Avon MagiX Face Perfector I decided to give it a go .. the Avon website sell it for £10 + £3.50 p&p .. I ordered it and waited with baited breath for it to turn up.

It came in yesterday (to my work address) and I put it on straight away (even though it was mid afternoon!). I noticed a little change but didnt think anything of it as I'm sure it was just in my imagination. So home time comes and I put some more on for my journey home. Usually by the time I come out of the tube station (I actually live in London) I'm a mess .. it's hot and sweaty down there .. but LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING .. I got out at my stop (a 20 min journey) then WALKED IT HOME (remember how hot it was yesterday) .. another 25 mins and I swear...

If you are young and prefer natural look and makeup, the AVON MagiX Face Perfector SPF20 is for you. It is a white gel cream and comes on face with shine-free finish. It makes skin look clearer and more even-toned but doesn't hide the flaws on skin well as it promises. Some people treat it as a primer and apply foundation on top. I try it out of curiosity and love and hate it. I don't like heavy makeup and this AVON product appeals very much to me in this aspect. My skin tends to be dry and liquid foundation has the drawback of staining the clothes esp when I wear high-neck. Wearing the MagiX Face Perfector doesn't have this problem and its SPF20 also protects the face from harmful ultra-violet ray. However, after a few hours with this product on, my face will feel dry and dehydrated. It is not as good a product for mature skin. Hope that AVON will have similar product for my skin type in future.
