WOW! .. so here's the deal .. as a black woman I tend to have oily skin .. I put my foundation on (MAC NW50) at 8 am and by 8.20 am I'm shiny, as if I've just come out of a vat of oil :(( .. so I'm blotting all damn day! So having read soooo many reviews for the Avon MagiX Face Perfector I decided to give it a go .. the Avon website sell it for £10 + £3.50 p&p .. I ordered it and waited with baited breath for it to turn up.

It came in yesterday (to my work address) and I put it on straight away (even though it was mid afternoon!). I noticed a little change but didnt think anything of it as I'm sure it was just in my imagination. So home time comes and I put some more on for my journey home. Usually by the time I come out of the tube station (I actually live in London) I'm a mess .. it's hot and sweaty down there .. but LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING .. I got out at my stop (a 20 min journey) then WALKED IT HOME (remember how hot it was yesterday) .. another 25 mins and I swear...

If you are young and prefer natural look and makeup, the AVON MagiX Face Perfector SPF20 is for you. It is a white gel cream and comes on face with shine-free finish. It makes skin look clearer and more even-toned but doesn't hide the flaws on skin well as it promises. Some people treat it as a primer and apply foundation on top. I try it out of curiosity and love and hate it. I don't like heavy makeup and this AVON product appeals very much to me in this aspect. My skin tends to be dry and liquid foundation has the drawback of staining the clothes esp when I wear high-neck. Wearing the MagiX Face Perfector doesn't have this problem and its SPF20 also protects the face from harmful ultra-violet ray. However, after a few hours with this product on, my face will feel dry and dehydrated. It is not as good a product for mature skin. Hope that AVON will have similar product for my skin type in future.

Avon's Magix face perfector really works. It goes on smooth and gives your face a smooth base for your make up. It also has an SPF of 20. What more could you ask for?

I was looking for a product that I could use on my face that was not tinted but would help conceal my pores and give me an even skintone. I saw this product in one of the books I received from a coworker. The initial price held me back from purchasing it right away. I finally decided to purchase the product when it was on sale for 7.99. The product was great-It immediately concealed my pores and made my skin tone even all over my face. The product was easy to apply and I had to use very little. I applied it over my moisturizer since my skin is very dry. I had to use very little makeup after using this product. I was very happy with the results-it made me look more natural since i had to use less makeup to get an even toned look. I would highly recommend this product and don't let the price scare you away as it did me at first. It is well worth the money! And I will definitely purchase it again.

Avon Magix Face Perfector really disappointed me. I kept reading a lot of positive reviews on the Avon website and after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase the product. There are several things I did not like including the smell, the texture and formula broke my face out, and it did not do as well as promised.

Number one, the smell to me was a big turnoff. It reminded me of flowers that have gotten old and have an off smell to them. It's hard to explain exactly but it just has an off odor.

Number two, the texture reminded me of petroleum jelly. It's supposed to be for all skin types but it was not good for my oily skin. In fact, every-time I put it on, my skin felt like it had a mask on it and then it caused me to break out in a couple of spots. Now, I'm almost 44 years old and very rarely have any type of facial break out anymore, but this product definitely caused me to have red spots and bumps that appeared. I use the Avon MagiX Face Perfector with SPF20 every day under my Avon Personal Match Mineral Makeup. It's great for evening out your skin tone, and gives you something for the makeup to cling to. It's great for providing a barrier between your pores and your makeup.

The Magix face perfector leaves a silky smooth finish -- powdery and velvety, not sticky or slick.

It's also great on those days that you don't feel like applying all of your makeup. it looks fine with a little mascara and lipgloss on the weekends.

Avon Magix Face Perfector is a product I use every day. It works really great with Avon's Mineral foundation. It is a gel that dries like powder and make your skin very smooth. It doesn't cover up anything, and you still would have to wear concealer and foundation. But it makes the rest of the layers glide on like silk, so you don't have to use as much foundation as you normally would. I would recommend this product for anyone with rough skin, dry skin, acne, or any face imperfections that cause rough patches. One drawback is that it does have a kind of a weird smell, so if you are sensitive to smells you might want to pass. ...

Avon MagiX Face Perfector SPF 20

For those of you who have not yet tried Magix you need to get out there and give it a try. I have been using MagiX for over a month now and love it. I used to have such dry and oily patches under my make up by the end of the day. Since I have been using MagiX, no more shine and no dry patches. You can use it with or without makeup. I have only used it once without make up and my skin still felt good at the end of the day.

I have 3 bottles at home. I always carry one with me. You can use it over or under makeup. You can also use this to stop shine mid day if you can't blot. Works great, won't clog pores and has an SPF of 20. Cheap too! Only $10, $7 if you catch it on sale....

Want to cover up imperfections or get rid of shine? Put a thin layer of this all over your face every morning. It's super-light and although it feels a little weird the first few times you put it on, you get used to it, and it's worth it.

Overall, this gets rid of my shiny face all day, and I wouldn't trade that for the world!...

I am a fan of Avon because of the great selection and reasonable prices. This is definately one of my favorite products. My skin did not get oily or break out. The coverage looked natural and the makeup went on very smooth. I also liked the smell....

I loved this product since the moment i saw it. I have large pores and oily skin, so this product marketing appealed to me. It has a great powdery finish and a pearly finish. There is no color in this makeup, but it does help to even out your tones a little bit. It promises to help keep oily build up away and im not sure if it really does that, but it does have SPF 20 in it....

For some reason I feel the need to continuously try different primer's for the face. I have found a few good ones and have reviewed them previously. About 4 weeks ago, I purchased Avon's new MagiX Face Perfector from my Avon lady. I instantly loved this product. It's a face primer (works awesome with or without foundation) and an SPF (20). This silky, gel-type, colorless formula glides on super easy. It instantly attacks any shine (without drying out my very oily skin) and camouflages imperfections (fine lines, light scarring). It does not cover freckles or age spots so if you are looking to "cover" something it's not made for that.

MagiX Face Perfector is perfect for anyone who wants to look naturally flawless and beautiful without looking like you're wearing any makeup. I wear it during the week before I put on my makeup (doesn't need time to dry like most primers). On weekends, when I don't want to wear makeup, I use my normal beauty products and then slide some...
