I am one of those people who can not wear Avon products. The colognes give me horrid headaches. My daughter was selling Avon and got a sample of Karmala. Right away I had to open a sample and give it a try. What a wonderful smell. I tried it on my skin over a weekend, to see if I would have any effects from it. No headaches.

Karmala has a exotic, woodsy, vanilla scent, one that is soft, and long lasting. I am always asked what I am wearing when I have it on. My husband is really picky when it comes to the colognes I wear. He has asthma and copd and so many of todays colognes, including Avon's, cause him to have a reaction to them. But for some reason, this wonderful scent doesn't bother him.

Unfortunately, I don't think Avon carries this any longer, and how sad.

Karmala perfume has been the best one I have found yet. I sell Avon, and now they are not selling it. All of my customers are asking for it. I use to keep it in stock, and the cute little genie bottle which is purple is great. I've had so many comments about this item, and I wish they would bring it back.

While I love this fragrance dearly, with it's deep, rich undertones, it doesn't stay on very well. I found myself feeling like I needed more every few minutes. My mom and sister felt the same way. The smell, although wonderful, fades away really quickly-- even when you layer it with the lotion.

The bottle is beautiful, though, and when the smell does stick, it is great!...

I truely love this perfume. I don't think that you could buy this scent in stores. It reminds me sort of a hippy smell and it's not too strong and musky. I'm allergic to a lot of perfumes, this is not one of them. So for people that want a different smell (wonderful smell) and want something that doesn't make them break out, buy this! I sell avon and I love their products. I personally do not us alot of perfumes though. I get major headaches. This perfume is one of few that i can wear. My husband is the one that fell in love with it first. He loves the smell of it so i thought i better try it. I love it. It isn't to overwelming like some perfumes. has a great smell....

I tend to buy most of the new scents that avon comes out with and Karmala is right up there with my favorites.It has a soft and exotic or kind of spicy, woodsy scent.It doesn't come on too strong and it lasts for a long time. Perfect for everyday wear and I tend to get asked all the time" what is that scent that you wearing?" I feel it's a good choice.

I received this product in a giftset of 3 mark avon roll-on fragrances, and this was probably my least favorite out of the 3 (Sassy, Bohista, Karmala). But I really think it just depends on the type of fragrance you prefer. Personally, I love light clean fresh & fruity scents... like lemony scents, so Karmala was too deep for year-round wear for me, but it was perfect for wearing last fall! Lots of ladies LOVE this scent though so I think I'm the odd one out, so i'd definitely recommend it to anyone because chances are they would love it just as much as everyone else!...

This perfume is very rich and good for colder weather. It smells like vanilla, musk, but with darker, deeper tones. I thought is was Ok, but my mother loved it.

It last a long time, and the price is very affordable.

You should buy it if you like deep, rich aromas (aka Opium).

I get so many compliments on this cologne. Everyone that smells it makes a comment and sometimes more than once. It's not overpowering, smells light and airy, but seems to stay with me longer than alot of other colognes I have worn. It makes me feel good - lifts my spirits....

This fragrance is definitely one of my favorites. It's very soft and sweet, and I always get lots of compliments on it. It doesn't come across as a very strong fragrance, so I never worry about people thinking I have too much perfume on. It's also very affordable!...

this perfume is inexpensive and smells great. when I wear it people remember it the next time I have it on. I use it for special occasions. it also comes in a really beautiful purple bottle and never comes on too strong. it lasts for hours and has a wonderful earthy scent. I really love it because it's only 20 dollars and has lots of other products too like lotion and body sprays. My mother sells avon so I have the product available to me at all times and there is usually a deal with it that comes with something else so it is a bargain but smells like any of the more expensive perfumes you get at the mall. It has it's own unique blend and there is nothing else like it....
