Shufflebored says "I like the colors and love the price!" about Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

I consider Avon's Glazewear somewhere between lipstick and lipgloss - especially the more shimmery colors, which seem a little thicker. They aren't quite as opaque as lipstick, but definately less translucent than your average lip gloss. Because of Glazewear's consistency, I think it seems to last a bit longer than most lip glosses, too, but still needs to be reapplied throughout the day. There is an appealling variety of colors, though I wouldn't get too attached to any of them because Avon discontinues shades a lot, even after running them for a very long time. I've been using Glazewear for years and they do seem to get a little gunkier than other lip glosses over time, but generally I tend to use them all up before they get a chance to go bad. They have a slightly perfumey taste, if that makes sense, but a nice smell. Doesn't really matter because it's not the type of lip gloss you want/need to lick at. It's like a very moisturizing, shiny lipstick. For the price of Avon Glazewear,...
...

LoveisJoy says "Avon Glazewear: I'm Addicted to Buttered Rum" about Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

With so many different types of lip color on the market, why is it that I am so loyal to one brand and one color? The answer is that Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss in Buttered Rum is the best color for my skin tone out of all of the other lipsticks and lip stains in my cosmetics drawer. Further, I love the long-lasting, high gloss shine that never gets sticky (or caught in my hair).

Avon Glazewear comes in over a dozen colors, but unfortunately, the only one that really works for me is Buttered Rum. There seems to be a lack of colors that contain more brown/coral/peach tones. I would love it if Avon could expand the line to include more variety of colors so that I could have more options. This is my only complaint about the line.

I love the soft-tipped applicator because it's large enough for those of us with fuller lips. The lip color applies easily and quickly, and I get a no-smudge look every time. I do use a lip moisturizer before applying Glazewear, and I find that the color...
...

ApriBambino says "Color, shine, hydration and comfort, what more can you ask for?" about Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

Many of Avon's products can be hit or miss, these are a definite hit in the wide world of lip gloss. The color selection is quite good, nice choices of pinks, plums, reds, browns and neutrals that look good on just about anyone. One shade range they need to add is peach and colal and the line will be complete, listen up Avon, you're customers are making a request you should heed.

The finish is shiny and glossy but not greasy looking. I find it stays in place and will last on the average through an hour or so before needing to be re-applied. Tickled Pink is my favorite shade as it's a neutral tone, neither bubble-gum or pepto pink, a good shade that makes a great base for any color you're looking to tone down or lighten up. I recently purchased Mocha Latte, one of the newer colors, and really like how this brown based shade shows a hint of gold and is not at all muddy in tone.

Glazewear gloss comes in three finishes which include: Shine, a sheer light glossy...
...

I am a lip gloss only kinda gal who loves lip gloss and has way to much than i need! I decided to buy the dazzling diamon glazewear from avon and i am so glad i did. I thought it might be a little crummy since it was so cheap but it ws far from it. The glazewear last for about an hour and is great for being lip gloss. It has a great shine to it to make your lips look full and sexy without having to pay for expensive products to do the same thing!! After using up all of my dazzling diamonds glazewear i went back for more and ordered the peach one and the clear one. they are fantastic and i keep them in my car, purse and at home of course so i am always prepared and looking good. If you havent tried this product yet, i highly reccommend it since it lasts a good while before wearing off and is very cheap. I got my glazewear for $1 from my avon representative and continue to go back for more colors and quality. Thank you Avon!
...

PattyTherre says "Decent lip gloss that's affordable enough to buy all 16 shades!" about Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

Quick View: Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss is a medium consistency gloss that comes in a number of shades and in different formulas such as Shine, Sparkle, Intense, and Clear. I buy this gloss often because it's so affordable. It isn't the best gloss I own but it's fine for a simple shine and tint.

My Take on Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

This gloss comes sealed on black plastic. The tube is clear so you can see the shade and the applicator is sponge tipped. There are a total of 15 shades plus clear. Of those shades, five are in the Shine category, five in the Sparkle, and five in the Intense. I go for the intense usually because it really isn't intense but gives my lips more pigment than the other formulas.

This gloss isn't too sticky and is very shiny, no matter which formula you buy. The shades range from nude and very light to deep shades but none are VERY deep on the lips. I just bought Intense Plum and it's a medium plum color on my lips. It looks good and lasts for the average amount of time...
...
