I am writing on Avon compact personal touch cream foundation. I have tried other foundations that are supposed to stay put. I have even tried the sport type. My mother-in-law was selling AVON at the time and she asked it I wanted to try it, she wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. It's a good value for the price. I have tried top naming brands for foundation and if I didn't break out from it I was spending way too much for it.

But AVON, the price is very decent for the compact that has a place underneath for the sponge to go and a mirror. It is really creamy and you don't need a lot on the sponge because a little bit will go a long way. At first it goes on greasy but, that fades after a while. About a minute or so, then it feels soft like baby powder. It doesn't clog up your pores. I have combination skin and really prone to acne and haven't had any in awhile, while using this. I am really active and like foundations to look natural not like a clown or like I have makeup...

I am an african american woman, age 33 who loves Avon foundation. I have been wearing Avon foundation for over 5 years. There so many choices to choose from. You can pick a light foundation to a heavy foundation. I also love the cream to power foundation. Every year Avon improves the quality of there foundation. I recommend it to all women of color.

I have tried several different forms of Avon brand foundations with varying results.

The first thing I noticed was the scent. Yes, it does smell nice but I prefer fragrance in prefumes and deodorants and not in my facial makeup. Scented foundations tend to cause blemishes on women with sensitive skin. They also give many women headaches from the continual smell of the product so close to your nose.

If you are not bothered by scents in makeup and if you don't have sensitive skin, Avon makeup may be a good choice for you if you like a sheer coverage or light coverage. However, if you have scars or facial blemishes Avon products may not be the best fit for you.

On the plus side: The price is reasonable, you can return the product if you are not satisfied with it, and you can try samples of various forms of Avon makeup.

On the negative side: It is not suitable for sensitive skin.

I started using this line about 2 years ago and never went back to the old foundations I used to use. The variations in shade are perfect for finding the shade right for the dead of winter and for my summer tan. I suffer from a skin conditition that leaves little red dots all over my face. This covers evenly without looking caked on since it matches my complexion so well. Wipes off easily with my Noxema wipes. No need for touching up throughout the day either!...

I'm a person with oily skin and Avon Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation is one of 2 foundations that I have found that stays on and doesn't cost an arm and a leg! (The other is made by Maxfactor). I use Perfect Wear Extralasting Liquid Foundation most often. This is a lightweight foundation that glides on easily. I love the fact that it's not thick and pancakey. I typically wear a matte-type cream (a.k.a. oil absorber) before I put on my foundation and when I do this I notice that the foundation doesn't glide on as easily. All you have to do in this case is dampen your makeup sponge before putting the foundation on it. I get a nice smooth finish every time.

I have oily skin and some breakouts. I haven't had much luck with Avon foundations. The liquid smells funny and looks funny on my skin ( I tried using my fingers to apply as well as a foundation brush). The cream to powder looked better but it came off on anything that got near my face. The mineral foundation is so limited in color choices- I never found the right color. I really wanted to find one that would work for me but I haven't yet....

Avon foundation is the best thing I have found. It hides all my blemishes but still looks natural. I'm low maintenance and this makeup fits right in. It is easy and fast to use. Avon foundation gives a smooth finish. I have acne prone skin and it is very sensitive to beauty products. Avon is perfect for that. It doesn't make me break out more and my skin adores it. I have been using Avon for years and it's the only beauty product I will use....
