I love to wear eyerliner, but getting it to stay on with out smudging has always been a challenge. It is disheatening to leave the house looking nice to find, mid day, that your eyeliner travels down your face and you dark circles under your eyes.... Then, you find your look would have been better with no eyeliner in the first place... So when I saw that Avon had a gel eyeliner, I wanted to see if it could be cheaper then the high end brands. Avons daring Definintion gel eyeliner sells for very cheap and it comes in a great size. This is a great product... The glass pot is satisfyingly sturdy and the black lid gives the product a nice high end look. The gel eyeliner comes in black, brown, and black/brown pear. The liner has a great slight of shimmer to it which is very pretty. The consistency of this product is easy to work with... Its seems to get less "waxy" like others did. Toward the end of the day the gel eyeliner stays put really well even on hot days... I love it its great!!!

I actually have four of these eyeliners; black, brown, navy, and grey, and I love each one of them. The colours are very rich and bring out a person's eyes quite well. And to make it even better the price is only six bucks, or less (depending on whether or not you catch them on sale)! It may take some time to get use to using this product because there is no pencil to guide you, but it is most definately worth it! I do not even worry about the fact that there is no appilcator brush with the eyeliner, because Avon has some really great ones for less than four bucks each. I chose to buy all four of the eyeliners avaliable that way I will have a variety on hand to suit whatever mood I am in that day. When you buy the eyeliner make sure that you buy a different brush for each colour that you buy that way you will not risk accidentally mixing colours together, this is what I did.

Avon Daring Definition Eyeliner... what could i say about that? It is one of a kind, i can say at least that. There isn't other eyeliners quite like it. It's very thick, and although it's very smudge-prone, it gives you those perfect smoky eyes that every girl looks for in the darker eye liner areas. and it has always been cheep and affordable.

I purchased Avon's Daring Definition Gel Eye Liner in Black/Brown Pearl. Eyeliner is my "desert" product, you know, the one product I'd take with me on a desert island. I have to have my eyeliner.

As a result of my eyeliner obsession, I collect quite a few of them. I am always trying different eyeliners in search of the perfect one.

Well, I think I might have found it.

Avon's gel eye liner is excellent. The black/brown pearl color is not too brown, not too black. I don't notice a pearl sheen to it at all, so if you're looking for something shimmery, I don't think this is it. For me, this is good, I don't need a shimmery eyeliner. I need an eyeliner that is a good color, easy to apply, and stays on until I take it off.

This is a good color. It is extremely easy to apply. In fact, it was so easy that I was a little shocked. It's very creamy. It glides right on, smoothly and quickly. You'll be shocked at how fast you did your eyeliner with this gel.

My last test, of course, was how......

This was a little tricky to begin with, but i was finally able to make it right! and it worked beautifully during halloween! I was a vampiress, and had to do a really really smoky eye and I got sooooo many compliments!!!! It was worth the 6 bucks!...

One time I tried Smashbox gel eyeliner because I saw it on QVC and the make up artist made it look so good on the model that it just sucked me in. So I bought it and it was this tiny little jar of liner and a brush for like $30. It was really hard to apply, didn't look very good, and was way expensive so I sent it back.

Years later saw Avon's Daring Definition Gel Eyeliner in a catalog and thought it looked similar but much cheaper so I figured I'd give it a try. I like the concept of a gel or cream eyeliner that applies easily without much tugging on the eye.

Daring Definition is can be ordered on Avon.com or thru an Avon representative and is available in the following shades: Black Brown Pearl, Black Pearls, Brown Pearl, and Navy Pearl. The pot holds 0.10 ounces of product which doesn't seem like much but a little goes a long way. I've had mine for months now and have barely used any although I use it frequently.
