My husband has very dry skin and his dermatologist highly recommended using Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I love this lotion and is the best one I have found so far. It is fragrance free, made with natural colloidaloatmeal and does moisturize for a very long time. Colloidal oatmeal means a natural skin protectant and one of the few natural ingredients recognized by the FDA to smooth and relieve minor skin irritations. I use it every day, especially on my face, neck and hands. In the winter time, it does wonders for dry feet too. My husband and I have been using this lotion for over five years now and have no intentions of switching to another brand. It has really helped him from getting red spots on his skin and we both immediately apply it after taking a shower to help lock in more moisture into our skin. This is a great moisturizer for people who have problems with any kind of fragrances since it is fragrance free. It does not leave any sticky, gummy or greasy...

I have horrible skin. I have had dry, itchy skin with occasional rashes since I was about twelve. I started going to the dermatoligist at least once a month to take care of some kind of break out I had when I first learned about Aveeno. I'm not sure how long it has been on the market, but I started using it around 1987. My dermatologist told me that my skin was so sensitive that I couldn't use anything that was perfumed or dyed, so he recommended using the Aveeno lotion on a daily basis. Now as an adult, I use it on my face every day as soon as I get out of the shower and on my legs directly after shaving. I love it! My skin is still sensitive enough that I cannot use any oils or lotions if I go to get a massage, I have to bring my own bottle of Aveeno with me and ask the masseuse to use it. I haven't been turned down yet, and I get good reviews on the lotion after the massage is over. I would recommend this product to everyone!

I bought the 18 oz. Aveeno Skin relief Moisturizing Lotion with soothing oat essence because I had been wanting to try it out and because I had a coupon. When I went to the store to purchase it, I was pleasently surprised that it was on sale. That actually convinced me to buy it. I started using it mostly on my legs and arms and could feel the difference right away. My skin suffers in the summer as well as in the winter but, I just have to rub some of this lotion on my dry skin and I smooth like a baby's bottom for the rest of the day. Actually, sometimes I don't reapply the next day because I still feel smooth. I especially like the fact that the bottle comes in a pump and I can grab some with one hand. It relieves itchy, extra dry skin, which is what I have. It moisturizes for 24 hours and is fragrance free. It also contains natural shea butter. I would buy this product again after I finish this bottle.

I first tried Aveeno products about five years ago. I tried it because I saw it onsale at the local drug store. I bought the facial scrub pads, facial lotion and all over body lotion. I love the smell of the products. They smell so natural and clean. The lotion does not leave a greasy or heavy oil on top of my skin and it lasts all day long. When the product claims to last twenty four hours it appears to be true. I have since I tried the product continued to use the product. I have to admit that as a woman i do try many beauty products...this happens to be one that is a winner. AGAIN again i go back to this product and know that it will work> numerous times i have bought a new product only to try it and be disappointed> having horomones that fluctuate and due to different times of the year< my skin changes and therefore the needs of a mosturizer change>>>i still continue to use this product>

I normally do not worry to much about having dry skin it has never been a problem until I moved to the Northeast side of the country. When you get dry skin from the weather it is noticeable. My lips were blistreing because they got so dry. And my skin on my face looked very bad. Anyway Aveeno has one of the most respected names for over the counetr body lotion,as a matter of a fact NOW I think Aveeno isahead of Jergens,Eulicid ,POnds :companies like that. On my skin I notice because at first I only had a small bottle and great need,Thats how I know Aveeno does a better job than Jergens,just think about it. I noticed a diffrence because the small bottle lasted me rather longtime. I am giving Aveeno a 4 because it is not the best on the market but it is pretty good,after all this is ot the over the counter section this is body lotions and Clarins,estee lauder etc. probably have something really really good

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion is great for anyone with dry skin and sensitivity to other lotions. I have found that it is most helpful during the cold winter season when my skin is the dryest. I slather it on after a bath or shower and my skin is soft and silky for hours. It goes on smoothly and soaks in, not leaving a greasy or thick feeling. In addition to how it feels, it doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive skin, in fact; it helps to relieve dryness and itching that I have in the winter. I also love the soft scent, it's not too over powering but smells soft and fresh. I would recommend it to others that have dry , sensitive, and irritated skin along with other Aveeno products such as the Aveeno Oatmeal bath.It is my experience that using them together even promotes the benefit that Aveeno gives. So, if you want beautiful, soft and smooth skin this winter...just slather on a blanket of Aveeno Daily Moisterizing Lotion every night.

I had dry skin for a very long time. I tried many lotions such as Eucerin, Neutrogena, and Johnson's, but they didn't work very well. My skin got dry right away from using the other lotions. But when I tried Aveeno, it worked very well. My skin stayed moisturized for a long time. Now I hardly have to put lotion on, just once or twice a day. When my friends use my lotion, they like it and want to get it because it makes their skin feeling moisturized and soft. I recommend this lotion to everyone who has dry, cracked skin. Once I got this lotion for my mom and she was really happy because she, too, has very dry skin. She always tried to get lotions to moisturize her skin, but when I got her the Aveeno, she hardly buys any. This lotion is also great for gifts for people who have eczema or other skin problems. the aveeno lotion costs about $5-$7 at Wal-mart in Alaska. but it probably isn't that expensive in the lower 48's.

I absolutely love Aveeno products. I am very fair skinned and I burn very easily. My face and neck have a tendancy to get red splotches throughout the day, which can be very embarrassing. I have a job in the hospitality industry and must look polished at all times. Ever since I started using Aveeno on my face and body. The redness has calmed down, my skin is smoother, and has never looked shinier. I have tried almost every lotion out there and nothing gives me the feeling of Aveeno. It goes on easily and feels nice on my skin, never greasy or heavy. They offer frequent coupons and sales and if combined right can be extremly affordable for everyone. Last week at one of the national drug stores, they had 20% off Aveeno, I had a coupon, and earned a cash back reward. My face cleanser came out to be only $1.50! How can you beat that. I also like how Aveeno is very eco-friendly. The ingredients are natural and mild.

Aveeno's Daily Moisturing Lotion is my favourite body lotion for the wintertime. I first started using it since it was recommended by my family doctor since sometimes I have sensitive skin. I love how the lotion texture goes on velvety smooth and does not have a sticky, greasy oil residue feeling after applying it on as compared to other lotions. The Aveeno lotion just feels as though it have entirely absorbed into my skin yet still keeping my skin moisturized. Another thing I love is how it keeps my skin moisturized for many hours so that I don't have to reapply as often. There is no irritating fragrance which is what I like about it also.

It works great for dry, chapped, flaking or wind-burned skin. Obviously you would want to speak to a doctor before trying new products, but I would highly recommend this excellent product to anyone who suffer from minor dry-skin irritation. Great buy for the affordable price.

Aveeno Daily Moisturing Lotion is a lotion for any skin type. My family has used Aveeno products for years now and I have never purchased anything I didn't like. It is a light greaseless lotion that makes you feel great. It keeps your skin soft and smooth if used every day. I have never had a problem in the winter with dry skin. I have two teen boys and they use this lotion every day too. Aveeno is the only lotion they will use. This oatmeal lotion is a must have in any home!

I love Aveeno lotions. The lavender scented is great. I have switched to less expensive brands and always go back. My skin is extremely dry and this works year around. I don't feel the need to try the real expensive brands.

I use a variety of brands of lotions. Truthfully I buy whatever is on sale. One of my surpising favorite is Suave. I like the scent that is evident, but certainly not over powering.

Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion isn't one of my must haves. And it would have to be a very good deal for me to be a repeat consumer. The thickness is fine and it isn't greasy at all. Which is a major plus. I hate it when lotions are greasy.

The main thing I don't like about aveeno lotion is it doesn't seem to have anything extra. It doesn't have a definable scent. It smells like nothingness. I don't want an overpowering scent that rubs off on everything that I touch, but a light defining scent makes the product complete.

I don't feel this product performs any better than any other lotion on the market, and if anything I am disappointed because the company promotes a higher end (drug store anyway) product and there is nothing that sets this apart.
