I bought the PedEgg a few months ago at CVS Pharmacy. I've seen their commercials a million times so I was interested. The first time I used it I think I rubbed my foot raw, which was my fault. User error. After doing that I tried to open the container to see my skin shavings (I'm sorry it's gross!) but the container wouldn't open! I'm trying so hard to open it and it finally comes flying open and its contents went all in my face! Again, EW! Even after five or six uses I was still having a hard time getting the container opened. Some people might like how small it is. It fits in the palm of your hand and it does help get rid of dry skin but I don't like the way it made my feet feel after shaving off all that dry skin. I think I'm going to stick to lotions for my dry skin problem. I only paid $19.99 so I'm not too upset about it. I just wouldn't recommend this product. I hope this helps!
...

As Seen On TV Original PedEgg

I saw this infomercial on television and, I wondered if it really worked as well as the ad implied. I was skeptical but, I did buy one for my husband and, figured that we would give it a try. Amazingly enough the Original PedEgg worked better than I had expected. It gently removes dry skin and, callouses. The Original PedEgg is safe to the touch, has an ergonomic design which makes it easy to go over the entire bottom of your feet. You will be amazed at how much dry skin comes off of your feet and is collected in the storage compartment.

I paid $10.00 for this product at walmart. I liked the results so well, that I had to run out and buy my mom the Original PedEgg too. She also loves the results that it gives her and, just like the infomercial said, it gives you baby smooth feet.

I recommend this product because, it does work and the personal results that we got from using this product were amazing. The only reason why my review doesn't...
...

I saw the Ped Egg at my local CVS and decided to try it about one year ago. I have been in awe of the way it has helped me keep my feet more softer and less dead skin. It is easy to use and you do not have to worry about cuts like using other removers. It is easy to use and does the work fast. The shavings are kept in the bottom of the unit and then opened for easy dispoal and no worries of it falling on floor while you are using it. I highly recommend this product to anyone.
...

Yeah, They say the PedEgg is NOT messy, but if you hold it the way they do on tv, all the shaving fall out. Also, it doesn't really work very well on the heels or balls of the feet; it only really works on the outside corner and the corner of the big toe...

I just really didn't like it!!! I will just continue paying to have my toes done!
...

I'm on my feet all day long moving from operatory to operatory, unfortunatly I suffer from calloused dry feet. In these economic times I don't have the money or the time to go to the spa and get a pedicure every other week. I purchased the PedEgg from Wal-Mart in their As Seen on TV display, took it home and decided to get it a try. The directions were a bit unnerving, be sure to stroke in and up and down motion, never side to side. Well, coordination has never been a strong suit for me. I grabbed the PedEgg firmly and started slowly scraping up and down, careful not to slip side to side. I was unsuccessful at removing more than a fine layer of skin being so causious, so I got a bit more aggressive. Applying just a bit more pressure I did notice more skin being removed, but not much. Determined to master the PedEgg I gave it my best, pressed firmly and scrapped faster, bad idea the PedEgg slipped to the side and sliced my foot in roughly 7 areas. No lasting damage to...
...

I received The Original PedEgg for Mothers Day,from my son he seen it on T.V. and when he got to the store if was the first item he saw and decided right away that he was going to buy it for me, I was very pleased to see that it worked as well as it did,I heard from some friends that they didn't think it would work as well as it did, but I love my PedEgg very much. I wear alot of sandals daily and there is nothing I hate more than my feet not looking they best, and I spent alot of time applying lotion for dry skin and massaging my feet I do get a pedicure once a month, and my local nail shop owner, has noticed how nice looking my feet are and she wanted to know what I was doing different, I explained to her that I received the Original PedEgg and I use it everyday after my shower. She was amazed at my results. I would recommend the Original PedEgg to anyone with dry, flaky skin on their feet and they have even made one for men.
...

Ok, I must admit, for many long months (I kept forgetting to buy one), I so longed to get my hands on what I refer to as my very own foot grater!!! Its sort of like creating grated cheese from your own skin, only its not cheese. Its dead skin, what a beautiful thought. I must admit, it was not as super as I expected, but it did keep my dead skin contained and I got to see what was coming off my foot. I have this gross dry ankle and I shredded the skin off that too, applied lotion, and its a temporary save, I guess when you don't want people to see your Night of the Living Dead Frankenfoot, but not a permanent solution.
...

Tiapet says "Sinfully Smooth Skin!" about As Seen On TV Original PedEgg

The Ped Egg is the most fantastically simple, relatively inexpensive tool for caluses I've ever seen. To top it off, it really, REALLY does exactly what it claims to do! This little tool really sloths off your dead, dry skin (even the worst cases I've seen it work on) with out feeling like your are grating your feet across a grater even though that is exactly what it looks like. It is very easy to use, it is light weight as well.

You can pull the Ped Egg across a balloon or stockings just as it shows and it would do no harm, just like your feet. Yet it does take the caluses off and make your feet extremely smooth and feeling wonderful! The opposite side as has an emory board to make sure your feet are ultra smooth after using the grating side. When you open it up and assemble you find that it collects all the "dust" from the work it's doing.

The now have it in pink and black along with the traditional white color. They've added a long handle for those that may not be able to reach quite...
...

redstarr says "Works pretty well, but is messy." about As Seen On TV Original PedEgg

The ped egg works pretty well for filing dry skin off your feet like it shows in the commercial, but it isn't neat like it shows. The skin shavings don't stay neatly inside the egg. It even mentions on the package that because it's so tidy you can use it anywhere. I certainly wouldn't recommend that. It gets skin dust everywhere. I use it with a towel under my foot to try to contain the mess.

The ped egg is really very much like a regular foot file in the way it works. It has a flat metal surface with openings that look like a little cheese grater. You rub the file against the skin and slough it away revealing the softer skin underneath. The advantage of the ped egg over the standard foot file on a handle is the shape. It is more comfortable to grasp and easier to use.

It doesn't hurt your feet at all, no matter how hard you scrub. I like it better than my pumice stone in that respect. The pumice stone can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes, but the ped egg feels...
...

After seeing thr PedEgg on TV I just had to try it. While the results were not as fabulous as they made it sound, I still find it to be a handy tool to have. It does remove dead skin, but it removes it so little at a time that it really would be time consuming if you waited too long between uses. The only complaint that I have is that the collection part is not as sealed as I would like it to be.
...

When I opened it up to dump it out, it looked like dust, a very very small amount of it too.
