Visited Aruba a while ago, and spent 10 days at one of the resorts--it is one of the most beautiful locations we have ever visited; very clean, easy to navigate, English is very popular--all around a great get away...

Jeaninenil says "Perfect Romantic Getaway" about Aruba

My husband and I went to Aruba as a stop on a Carnival Cruise in November 2007. We absolutely loved the island and are dying to get back for an extended stay. The weather was beautiful, the island was incredibly friendly and clean, and the nightlife was amazing. We did the Kookookunuku (spelling may be wrong, but it is a very odd word) party bus and had a blast. It was probably the most fun we've had as a couple. Aruba is overall a wonderful and welcoming place with plenty to see and do- from white sand beaches to shopping, to casinos, there is something for everyone.
...

sarsar37 says "even with hurricane Omar coming through, it is an AMAZING place!" about Aruba

I went to Aruba for the first time October of 08 with my 11 month twins and it was SO amazing! The Jeep tour to the natural pools was very scary for me and not worth it, but the snorkeling at de palms was super fun. The sunsets were breath taking and even with infants the beach was enjoyable too. We had SUPER weather until the third day when hurricane Omar hit (and they said Aruba NEVER has hurricanes, HA!) and we had to stay in for three days because of flooding and heavy winds and rain. Luckily the hotel still had activities so we were able to stay occupied when we wanted out of the room but couldnt go outside.

I highly recommend staying in the marriot surf club if you are going to aruba with children because they had tons of activities at all hours that was fun for the whole family and all ages!

Aruba is heaven on earth, even with a hurricane, and we will be going again, just not in october!
...

When i got off the plan in aruba i knew it was a different place from the others we had been to in the carribean. aruba has a constant breeze which makes the warm but not too warm weather even nicer! the water was beautifully calm and gorgeously blue. the food was good too! my husband and i burn easily and yet left after a week in aruba with out a red mark on us!!

...

I have traveled to several different Caribbean islands, as it is my favorite place to travel. So far, Aruba has been my favorite island. If you are looking for white sands, beautiful blue "bath" water, Aruba is the place. We snorkeled off the beach and saw plenty of beautiful fish. We toured the very small island and loved Orangestaad, Baby Beach, the natural bridge, old lighthouse, etc. The divi divi trees are so neat looking - they are bent over from the strong trade winds. The winds were really the only (minor) drawback that I noticed - sometimes the breeze got a little annoying. Additionally, it was nice to be able to hang out and not be constantly solicited for something by the locals. ...

kowalczyk32 says "dependable good weather and friendly local people" about Aruba

Aruba is a place with the most dependable good weather I have experienced, any time of the year. If you like the beach this is for you as there is not much else to do. The island's beauty is the beach, and water. Underwater experiences are great. The cooling trade winds keep the temperature pleasurable. Those same winds make Aruba the wind surfing capital.

The local people are very helpful and friendly. Prices are fair for most all goods and services. The U.S. currency is always accepted and most things quoted in dollars....

mrkstvns says "Come to Aruba! The Weather's JUST FINE!" about Aruba

Sleet, freezing rain, snow drifts, blinding blizzards....who needs 'em!! Not me, that's for sure. If I lived in a cold-weather state, you can bet your bottom dollar I'd be booking some SERIOUS warm-weather vacations for those coldest months of the year. I'd be looking at the great Mexican beach resorts, or maybe some fantastic Caribbean islands --- some place where the only thing cold is the drinks served at the beachside bars. I'd be looking at places with spectacular beaches, glorious sunsets, luxury hotels, fine international dining, and plenty of sun and fun....I'd be looking for places like Aruba!

One of the best reasons to choose Aruba over other beach destinations is the weather: it's almost ALWAYS sunny and warm in Aruba. It's technically a desert island, getting only scant amounts of rainfall each year, but that poverty of precipitation translates to an excellent chance that your vacation won't be rained out. Even in the Caribbean's traditional "hurricane season" of summer through...
...
