For years, I used a wok on my stovetop. I never liked the fact that the sides hung over the edge of the burner, making it hard to fit large pans on the surrounding burners. That is, until I got Aroma's Yan Can Cook Wok.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS WOK

The Wok body is made from heavy-duty cast metal, has a non-stick, scratch resistant surface and is dishwasher safe. I must admit, I have never actually ran it through the dishwasher but, it is really easy to hand wash.

I also like the size (8 quarts) as it is large enough to use as a steamer, make tempura in or a large stir-fry. It always heats up quickly, and more importantly, stays at the temperature until it is turned off. The glass lid is domed shaped and has an adjustable steam vent. I like the fact the lid is see-through and I am able to keep an eye on the food without having to lift it and look inside.

The Wok heating base has a large, easy to read temperature (up to 1500 watts) dial. The temperature probe, goes into the side of the...
...
